Some are saying that besides pleading for help from
China economically, Yellen is there to clean up the shit spilt by Biden
calling Xi a 'dictator'. For Asians, this is serious spite. Xi is not
like Biden, dementia tainted and easily forgets what he heard. Asians
have long memories. That is why Japan is so worried about its past
atrocities.
It takes more than Janet Yellen to calm the Chinese
side. Joe Biden is waiting for an invite from Xi that will never come,
so his visit to calm the Chinese is never going to happen. Yellen was
already in China earlier in June, before the 'dictator' scorn, and it
would take a miracle this time around to pacify the Chinses side.
Remember,
after being called a 'pariah', Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of
Saudi Arabia, would not forgive Biden for the slight, nor forgive Biden
despite all his efforts to mend the fence even by visiting Saudi Arabia
himself, to no avail, and even getting treated unlavishly. To add
insult to injury, the Saudis gave Xi a red carpet welcome later, with
jets flypast and a guard of honour reception. It was to be a slap on the
face of Biden to show the world.
The USA can do what it likes
with the European leaders, even to the extent of asking them to destroy
their own economies, and they will still bend over backwards to
accomodate the wishes of the USA. German Foreign Minister, Angelina
Baerbock, even had the gall to say that helping Ukraine is even more
important than helping her own German people. And the German people
still take all that shit lying down.
And Mohammed bin Salman is
still deeply hurt. He is now increasing oil prices again to compensate
for the cuts in production recently. And OPEC+ is solidly behind him.
This is not good for the USA inflation. And is even worse for the
Europeans.

Whoever sent Janet Yellen to China is a clueless jerk. Her specialty is finance, and diplomacy is not within her portfolio. She does not have the authority to decide on political issues. She was sent there merely to garner mileage for those hiding in Washington, hoping to rally global support for such 'theater'.
China will have to hold its horses dealing with a frail 77 year old lady. It was nothing more than 'elderly abuse' pushing her into the dragon's den. She would be better being sent to Taiwan, to collect some ready bribes for her retirement.
If Zelenskyy failed in his attempts to garner more support worldwide, perhaps sending Janet Yellen there would do the trick, with some monetary incentives. After all, what Zelenskyy have is other people's money to play around with. Half for Zelenskyy and half for charity. It is other people's money after all!
Don't play around with that old lady hor. The MSM in USA is already starting to claim that Janet Yellen pushes China over 'punitive action' taken against USA companies. I think China fell over like Humpty Dumpty. No contest! China just surrendered!
She went there claiming to repair ties, instead delivered a lecture to the Chinese side about the punitive action China is now taking against USA companies. It must be hurting, and is good that it is hurting, to let the USA side now know what it is like to be on the receiving end.
At her age, she should know what she is talking about, and taking 'punitive action' against others fits the USA perfectly, after what it had been doing to Chinese companies like Huawei, DJI, BYD, Tik Tok and others. But she still feign ignorance and continue to display hypocrisy or fake dementia. Wonder if she needs to look in the mirror?
It is unlikely the Chinese side will want to engage with her or touch her with a ten foot pole, lest she pretend to fall and play dead. They will tell her - 'Grandma, just go back home and stop talking nonsense' or better still -'Go to Taiwan if you need pocket money'. LOL
