The pros and cons I think have long been weighed out by the BRICS countries. They have been working on it not yesterday.
Letting
the US$ hegemony remain means a scenario of forever being under the
control of the USA and its sanctions, which is going to be used against
each and every country some day. And bear in mind that if this BRICS
de-dollarisation fails and the China/Russian alliance fails to protect
BRICS countries, there will never be another chance for the Global South
to extricate itself from the curse of the US$ hegemony. Is the world
prepare for that?
Iraq and Libya were minnows in the
de-dollarisation game, without Russian or Chinese support, and could
easily be destroyed by the USA. Even then they needed fabricated and
manufactured evidence to use the UN rubber stamp to carry out their vile
and criminal plot. There are now so many countries in the UN not in
unison with the USA after the Iraq War. Their conscience have gotten the
better of their decisions going forward, except for the unconscienable
Anglo Saxon White clique.
The war in Ukraine already shows how
difficult it is for the USA and the West to have an upper hand against
the Russians. It is not just the physical war. There is also the
economic war going against Russia, the more than fourteen thousand
sanctions working for the USA and the West, and yet they could not put
Russia out of business. Putting China in BRICS together with the
Russians is a different ball game altogether. There is also Iran, not a
minnow to be sniffed at, to consider, smack in the Middle East oil hub.

The USA and the West are starting to realise that after 500 days of the war in Ukraine, little had been achieved by Ukraine, with Russia still holding on to Crimea and the Donbass region.
Angela Merkel had revealed that the eight years of the Minsk Agreement, signed in 2014, was a ploy by the West to give Ukraine time to build up its defences. They underestimated Russia, and that Putin had already read their intentions and had also started building up Russian military logistics. Now the Ukrainians are desperately short of ammunition, which is one reason why the highly touted counteroffensive became a disaster of sorts for Zelenskyy, despite gloating about it earlier day and night.
The USA is now talking about sending 'cluster bombs' to Ukraine. 120 countries have already banned the use and production of this bomb, yet the USA is on the verge of escalating the war. This is just like what they did in Vietnam, by permanently destroying a wide area of the agricultural land in Vietnam with the use of Agent Orange. Not only that, Agent Orange had caused and is still causing birth defects in babies born decades after the war ended. Cluster bombs are said to be lethal weapons that still kills long after the war is over, which is why it is banned.
By not being a signatory to the banning of cluster bombs, the USA thinks it is at liberty to use it in any way it chooses, with no consideration for Ukrainians living in the country after the war. What will those bombs do to Ukraine citizens after the war is left to the Ukrainians to think over.
Vietnam was never given any choice in the use of Agent Orange by the USA. Ukraine has a say in the use of cluster bombs, and if Zelenskyy allows that, he is going to be killing his own people, clear and simple. But a man in desperate situation will do desperate things. Without ammunition, which were probably destroyed by Russian hypersonic missiles just recently, he is desperate and clutching at any straw thrown to him. If Ukraine falls, he can always run to the USA and they will welcome him with ovation in Congress, and let ordinary Ukrainians suffer the consequences.
Zelensky and the foolish Ukrainians think they can defeat a nuclear super power Russia. How crazy and stupid can it be?
This is like stupid Taiwan, Japan or South Korea, and silly Asean states thinking they can mess around with China, another nuclear super power.
Russia cannot lose, its last weapon would be nuclear weapons. The Americans or Europeans cannot risk a nuclear war with Russia or China. But they would provoke and incite stupid crony states to fight a proxy war and make them pay the American Military Industrial Complex for weapons to fight a limited unending war.
Stupidity has no cure.
