The Pathetic State Of US Law Enforcement

The shocking mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, on May 24 - was only released this Sunday (17 July 2022).

The most shameful detail revealed is that nearly 400 law enforcement officers rushed to the school after receiving reports. Despite that, they still could not stop the mass shooting by an 18-year-old gunman. It resulted in the tragic deaths of 19 students and two teachers.

The Investigation Committee could not find any "villains" in this horrifying massacre.

It explained, "There is no one to whom we can attribute malice or ill motives. Instead, we found systemic failures and egregious poor decision making."

It is utterly ridiculous that the US law enforcement officers couldn't even protect the children who need protection from harm the most. This is more of a systemic crime than "systemic failures."

How can a country that cannot protect its own children have the gumption to call itself a "human rights defender"?

The so-called systemic failures are the consequences of the US's systemic problems, including the inability to institute gun control and end institutional racism.

A 2018 report shows that US civilians own about 400 million guns, more than the whole US population. Against such a backdrop, US police officers have to worry about possible gun violence from others, especially what they see as suspects. Therefore, they are highly likely to use guns when they feel such threats.

Data from Gun Violence Archive shows that as of July 16, there have been 352 mass shootings in the US this year. On average, 1.8 shootings occurred every day in the "land of the free." At this rate, this year's number is likely to exceed that of last year, which was 692.

In contrast to the poor US law enforcement shown in the Uvalde mass shooting, the country's law enforcement officers have excessive use of force against racial and ethnic minorities, especially African Americans.

For example, just last month, Jayland Walker, a 25-year-old black man, was killed at the hands of the police in Ohio. A preliminary autopsy report found at least 46 gunshot wounds and 26 bullets in his body. This is extreme police brutality!

From George Floyd to Jayland Walker, all these cases highlight the systemic racism entrenched in the evil US law enforcement system.

A US report released in May revealed that African Americans as a community are at least four times more likely to be killed by gunshots from the police than the total US population and 12 times more likely than white people.

The statistics speak for themselves loud and clear.

Let them assume they are the best and continue with their arrogance as the de facto policemen of the whole world. Let them think they are tops in everything, just because they have the military means to push others down and force them not rise above them. Let them be complacent. It is the best way to keep them think they are in top shape with all the bragging rights.

I was watching this video on The Jimmy Dore Show about what the USA Government is telling it's citizens what to do in case of a nuclear strike on New York City. It tells the people to stay indoors, close all windows and not go out.

Holy mackerel, when a nuclear bomb lands on New York City, will there be buildings left for hiding, not to talk about having windows left for closing. And staying indoors waiting for radiation and death?

There is also a video talking about how many nuclear missiles the USA air defence system can really take out in the event of a a nuclear missile attack. Russia is said to have missiles capable of carrying ten nuclear warheads, coupled with another forty decoys that are spread out before hitting the ground. How many anti missile defence system does the USA really have to take out all those decoys and warheads, is still something they are trying to sort out.

In this age of smart hypersonic missiles and drones, the air defence system of old is practically useless. Israel had the much touted Iron Dome protection, but the simple Palestinians bombarded them with small home made missiles, and created so much confusion during the recent skirmish, that some really serious big ones did hit their targets. So, do not think the Russians are not working out their strategies in missile technology of how to counter the anti missile missiles. As they said, there are people who made the rules and there are people who think of ways to break the rules. It works all the same. And that always gets me thinking about people creating computer viruses vs those creating anti virus software. Who is against who is a grey area?

The 22 year old man in Greenwood Park Mall was braver than the hundreds of police and special ops soldiers in the Uvalde School shooting in Texas. A young man with a pistol taking on a terrorist armed with rifle and more, and shot him dead as soon as the terrorist started shooting.

The shooting of the gunman in Greenwood had saved many lives. The fear of taking on the lone gunman in Texas had led to the lost of many lives.

What a shame to call themselves police officers or special ops officers.

The Americans only won wars made in Hollywood or against poor peasants with no weapons.

They still got beaten in Korea, in Vietnam, in Afghanistan, now in Syria and in Ukraine.

David Clark
Indiana: 1 armed individual took out shooter.
Texas: 400 cops did nothing to stop shooter.
End of story!

All the 400 cops were there so that they could earn a medal for bravery.

All the 400 cops must be invited to the White House to receive a medal from the President. The medal would have a chicken engraved on it.

EU demanded Russia to cap their price of oil and gas? Who the fxxk do they think they are? Why should Russia oblige when they are enjoying the windfall and reaping in the dough? US$321 billion is expected this year, up a third over last year.

Now the EU knows that Russia is not to be trifled with. They messed with Putin, now they have a nightmare. Putin is taking the sanctions as child's play and using 'Putinomics' to counter successfully the USA and EU. The EU has more to worry about going forward. Unrest will follow in Germany and France, with both leaders Schulz and Macron's position hanging by a thread.

And that goes for Biden as well. Boris is over already. Morrison too. Who is next?
