The above comments in Global Times cannot be more clear of what China would do if Pelosi dares to visit Taiwan in her trip to Asia. This is the most serious provocation coming from the Americans as they keep ratcheting up their aggressive behaviour against China.
The Americans must be reminded that in 1950, China was a very poor nation, just recovered from a civil war with the KMT, without an industrial base to support any war effort against a foreign enemy like the USA, the most powerful military power of the day. But China bit the bullet and went in to defend North Korea in a war that no one believed it had a chance with its peasant soldiers with no modern weapons against the mighty Americans. The peasant soldiers kicked the asses of the Americans and sent them fleeing.
If China was willing to risk fighting the US for North Korea, Taiwan is a non issue when coming to its defence and reunification. A Pelosi visit to Taiwan would be crossing the Red line and everything would be on the table. How about an interception of her aircraft and bringing it down to a Chinese airfield, or risked being shot down? It is war for sure. And in this case, China would have no choice but to go for it. Xi Jinping too would have to act firmly against the Americans. This would be a big straw that broke the camel's back.
The Americans have no chance against China in a war in the western Pacific Ocean. There is no hinterland to support the logistics and supply chain for the Americans in such a war. China has full control of the sea and airspace in the western Pacific for sure. No one would dare to fight on the side of the Americans against China. Japan would not risk being bombed to the Stone Age. China is waiting for a reason to flatten Japan. Just give China one reason to do it. Australia, the silly little country is as good as useless to think of supporting the USA with its toy weapons of war.
The Americans would have to fight China alone. NATO is too far away and trying to stay in one piece against Russia. This warmongering evil Empire must have wars to support its war industry and to control the world by destabilising the world. They are fighting so many wars at this moment, threatening so many nations, poking their dirty fingers in the domestic affairs of so many countries and spreading the lie that China is the threat, is the aggressive state when China is not doing any of the darn and hostile acts of the Americans.
The world must wake up to this hostile, aggressive and warmongering evil American Empire. This is the real devil, the threat to the rest of the world. Having turned Ukraine into a war zone is not enough, now wanting to turn Taiwan into another war zone. Taiwanese, please wake up and throw out the pro Japan and pro American traitors and stop this provocation. It is you that would be killed.

They really have to start the instigation for a war between China and Taiwan. The window for taking down China is closing fast for the USA and NATO. A winter of discontent is closing in on Europe and they need a distraction to quell the smoldering tensions building up over energy and inflation problems.
The USA and NATO knows that to defeat Russia, taking down China is critical, with India an easier opponent to overcome.
I could not help laughing at the news claiming that China is learning from the mistakes made by the Russians in Ukraine and is recalibrating their response to Taiwan. In other words, put in perspective, Ukraine is winning and Russia has been defeated. Spinning is useless when the reality on the ground says otherwise.
Russia has warned that it will force them to attack all of Ukraine if the USA and the West keeps pushing more weapons into Ukraine. I do not think Putin makes idle threats or is pulling a bluff. Not this man. This is not Biden in dementia mode, backtracking on his every word.
There is also the claim that more weapons are reaching Ukraine in the hope that these weapons will help them reclaim lost territories, particularly Crimea.
And again I keep hearing Ursula using the word 'weaponising' of oil and gas by Russia. What is wrong with that, and why is she so sour about, when weaponising is the modus operandi of the USA and the West, and cast in concrete in their playbook for decades. At least Russia now has a weapon to hit back at the originators and supporters of weaponisation.
The American and the West must be deluding themselves to think that it is possible to take down China today. The window to do that had been closed 10 years ago. Once China has developed and able to deploy DF21 and DF26 anti ship missiles, the game is over.
They cannot win a conventional war with China. A nuclear war there is no winner.
The moment war started, all military bases in Japan, South Korea and Guam would be flattened. No American warship or aircraft could get nearer to 4,000 km from Chinese shore without being taken out. This is the military might of China.
Any attack of Chinese soil would be reciprocated with attacks on American homeland. This is something that the Americans would avoid at all cost. That is why the war in Ukraine is limited to within Ukraine. Attacking Russia would mean American homeland also be hit. Similarly, attacking China would have the same response.
China and Russia can give as much as what America can give to them. The playing field is now level.
The Americans can only attack smaller countries and fight proxy wars like in Ukraine. Taiwan is an island far far away from the American homeland. They cannot count on Japan or South Korea as jumping boards. Both would be knocked out within hours when war started.
When the aircraft taking Pelosi is on the way to Taiwan, there would be a near miss, or could be worse, an air incident and the aircraft has to make an immediate descent to land...in China.
The Americans must not push their luck too far. This is a very serious matter and China would act, must act. The Americans are forcing China's hand.
Pelosi may end up the sacrificial lamb to start a war with China. She is old enough, not much of a loss to the Americans.
Well, theoretically she may be the catalyst to start the war. Anyone, besides China, shooting down her plane is going to be blamed on and connected to China lock, stock and barrel.
It could be the Japs itching to get the war started. Never underestimate the ambition of the Japanese mindset. They harbour very ulterior motives behind their backs. They are jealous of China's rise, fearful of Chinese vengence over WW2 atrocities, and thinks they have the USA behind their backs. When pushed into a corner, the Japs are very dangerous elements, the same mindset that pushed them into the World Wars.
Just a thought! Abe's frequent call to rearm Japan during his stint as PM, and his involvement in the coming elections, could be one factor leading to his assassination from that one country that refuse to allow Japan to rearm for fear of reprisals over the two bombs dropped on Japan.

Taiwan could easily pay Pelosi a million or more for her presence. Otherwise why would she want to make that trip and risks being assassinated and a war between the US and China?

Its not to defend democracy or human rights but to ensure they have a military base close in even of war with China. All calculation with the present military bases in the Pacific show US would lose a war with China.
As one suspected, the silly DPP govt in Taiwan has allowed itself to be used as a pawn by the US and splash tax money to invite has been US and Western politicians to visit and to buy outdated military ware that US is only willing to sell.
