Ukraine - The Russians took care to avoid civilian casualties

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lh4ClXnv9w8 (21 minutes of truth that the Americans and the West would not want the world to know.

George Galloway interviewed Scott Ritter, an ex Marine Corp intelligence officer who explained how the Russians were avoiding attacking civilians. In so doing, they suffered unnecessary casualties when the Ukrainians took advantage of this kind act and attacked the Russians in the cities. The Russians did not hit back but withdrew from the fight not to kill more civilians.

The Russians could have flattened he cities and killed the civilians in them. Instead, they created safe corridors to let the civilians flee before attacking. Compare this act to the ruthless monsters in the American and Brit invading forces in Iraq, Syria and Libya. The monsters just bombed everything killing hundreds of thousands of civilians, women, children and old folks. The Americans and Brits were evil to the core, treating the Arabs and Muslims as subhumans, with no respect and concern for their lives.

The Russians could have done the same, but no, the Russians were more humane and compassionate despite the Americans and the West demonising them everyday in every media. But this restraint would not be long if the Ukrainians continue to fight back. Once the civilians are out of the way, the Russians would unlease the full might of their fire power on the Ukrainian soldiers. The Russians are giving them a chance to lay down their arms. Russia's objective is for the Ukrainian govt to take a neutral position and not become a front man to threaten Russia.

The world could see and be witnesses to the the invasion in Ukraine and the invasions in Iraq, Syria and Libya and judge for themselves who were the devils and who were more decent human beans.

Do not be blind, do not be deceived by the evil Americans and the West. Look at the facts on the ground and form your own conclusion.

PS.  According to western media, the Ukrainians are winning the war. Their statistics are like they have destroyed all the Russian tanks and armoured vehicles. Only contradiction is that they are pleading to China to help to stop the war. Why would they need to when they are winning?

And the evil Americans are accusing China for not helping to sanction Russia and not helping to stop the war while they keep in fanning the fire and sending more weapons and contractors to fight in the war. They are goading Zelensky to keep on fighting with them supporting from behind.

The Americans did not want the war to stop. And criminal Zelensky is aiding them and conning the Ukrainians to die fighting a lost cause against a very powerful invading force that has yet to unlease its full fire power. Do not underestimate the military strength of Russia and the will and determination of Putin.

The lies by the Americans and Zelensky are giving false hope to the Ukrainians and leading them to be killed unnecessarily. Just declare Ukraine as a neutral state and not allow Americans and Nato to station nuclear and offensive weapons in Ukraine to threaten Russian security are so simple to do. But Zelensky and the Americans chose to lie to their people and to let them die, including civilians. They made the choice for the people of Ukraine, to die for a wrong and unfriendly act against Russia.

The War should not end untill
Zelenskyy is captured and NATO neutered.
Even if Russia has to extend the War to Europe should NATO be found to be complicit in the Russia Ukraine War, Russia must act against Europe. Failing to do so merely postphone an imminent World-war 3. Time is of essence for Russia.

High inflation incoming:

'The United States has withdrawn from all of the agreements that Russia and China have tried to promote. And Europe is standing by and apparently is willing to be the sacrificial lamb in all of this as Ukraine is being the sacrificial lamb. So the United States and Russia say, let’s fight to the last European. And Russia initially didn’t want that because it was hoping that Europe and Russia would have a mutual gain in trade and investment relationships. But now it doesn’t feel that way. And there may be a proxy war between the United States over the European economy, not necessarily bombing Europe, but trade sanctions, energy sanctions, the kind of disruption that Europe is going to be seeing in the next year is if it loses Russian oil and gas and minerals and also, I think Chinese exports.'

Ukraine is the sacrificial lamb.

Europe will be the sacrificial cow.

The Americans would throw them under the bus to remain the dominant Empire. Europe would be the real battle ground for WW3. It would be turned into a nuclear wasteland if the European still allowed themselves to be controlled by the Americans and used as a pawn in the Empire's bigger game to control the world.

G7 to apply sanction on China:

https://www.reuters.com/world/us-sets-some-red-lines-china-over-support-russia-2022-03-23/

'ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE, March 23 (Reuters) - The Biden administration, seeking to deter China from aiding sanctions-hit Russia, on Wednesday warned Beijing not to take advantage of business opportunities created by sanctions, help Moscow evade export controls or process its banned financial transactions.'

Chinese made products will become very rare or expensive a few months down the road if G7 decide to sanction China.

Of course G7 will cut their throats since US ordered them to do so..

Chua Chin Leng aka redbean said...

When there are 200 and you sanction 1 or 10, it would become 199 or 190 against 1 or 10.

When you sanction 150 or 180, it would become 50 or 20 against 150 or 180.

Or it would mean the 150 or 180 sanctioning against the 50 or 20 who are now the minority being unable to trade with the majority. G7 or the AngloSaxons plus Europe against the world or the world against them eventually.

Or the hunter becomes the hunted.

BTW there is a high chance that the Baltic States will be next after Russia is done with Ukraine:

'Therefore, naturally, if the Balts do not take it reasonably, then sooner or later they, just like Ukraine, will ask for the denazification operation. Ukraine asked for a long time, in fact, persuaded for 30 years.'

When the G7 starts to impose sanctions on China, it would become the white men against the rest of the world.

The white men needs the market of the rest of the world to sell, and the raw material to make their goods.

The rest of the world do not need to buy the expensive goods from the white men if when they could buy everything cheaper from China. They only need to sell to the white men, but can also sell to China and the rest of the world.

The white men countries need the rest of the world more than the rest of the world need them.

Putin is hitting back by insisting that Russian oil and gas is to be paid in Robles. No Rubles means no gas or oil. The West thought all the sanctions will cause the Rubles to become banana notes, but this step by Putin is a masterstroke. Now those countries needing Russian oil and gas have to look for Rubles by selling their US$.

For friendly countries Russia has accepted local currencies - Yuan for China, Rupees for India. For unfriendly countries they now have to help to prop up the Ruble or tank their economies. They can buy gas from elsewhere, liquified, but several times more expensive and it will still tank their economy. On top of that they must have the facilities to turn liquified natural gas back to original state before it can be used. That is a massive problem.

Biden is in Europe to pour quick dry cement to make the EU more solid. The cracks are becoming more apparent and Biden is there to do 'patch and pray' that the EU does not break up at the wrong time. More sanctions being discussed? Putin will say, bring it one by banning totally their import of Russian oil and gas. Germany and France will go belly up. The USA will face inflation it has never seen before, with pump prices out of this world.

Wait till the rest of OPEC demand payment in Roubles!

Putin plays chess. Xi plays Go. Biden and the EU leaders are playing draught. Western MSM now playing video games of shooting down Russian Generals, planes, helicopters, and tanks. Interesting and habitual.

The strength of the US$ is based on the petrol dollar. Once oil can be bought in other currencies, there is no longer the need to hoard and keep US$. Countries would the start to let go of their dollar reserves. And no one would want to buy US$.

Another point, China and Saudi Arabia are committed to buy American T Bills from their surplus revenues from trade and sale of oil respectively. When they and other countries stop buying Treasury Bills, and all the US$ start to return to American shores, the inflation pressure would turn US$ into banana currencies overnight.

The USA would be bankrupt with worthless US$ worth nothing, like toilet papers.

Anonymous said...

When are the OPEC countries going to learn?

The US dollars are going to be worthless soon. Why are they still stupidly selling their precious oil for worthless fiat paper?

They should quickly stop accepting US$ and opt for RMB or Roubles. Even Euros are risky as many EU countries are already bankrupt or nearly bankrupt except for one or two that are still in the black.

Anonymous said...

Ironically, US$ in the hands of small countries cannot do much except to buy oil.

For China, it has taken a whole new perspective in that the Chinese are spending the accumulated US$ on infrastructures all over the world, whether fiat or otherwise. China is not using US$ just in the oil trade. It is using USA banana notes for a more relevant purpose that smaller countries have not the ability to exploit, logistically or quantitatively. And using the fiat US$ and spending it building infrastructures for others carries little risk of having those assets seized or confiscated. They don't belong to China and that is the wonderful part.

Time for women to serve NS and challenge outmoded gender norms

by Kalpana Vignehsa and R Avinash , ST 24 March

Dr Kalpana Vignehsa is research fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies, National University of Singapore. R Avinash is a research assistant at the same institute.

Now THEY got the gall to ask Singaporean women to serve NS! Now they are setting policies for true-blue Singaporeans ! Have the new NTUC CEO do NS ?

This is interference and meddling in Singapore's domestic politics.

Or they are thinking that they owned Singapore.

Looks like the US$ banana is getting ripe for the picking. When even hardcore supporters of the US$, like Saudi Arabia, are jumping ship and doing oil in Yuan with China, the signs are not encouraging. And Russia doing oil and gas in rubles. Who would have imagine that? What is the world turning into?.

Even the Euro is not as mighty as presumed as Russia is planning not to accept it for oil and gas. That is a big problem for Germany and France in particular. Now the pushback is difficult to avoid.

How hypocritical is the West can be seen by the pleas to Putin to let those ships carrying foodstuff and stuck in the Black Sea and unable to unload at Ukraine ports to be let through..

Did anybody plea with the USA using sanctions to prevent import of essential items into North Korea, Cuba and other countries, forcing the people of those countries to suffer? Oh, I forgot that those are not Whites, so the world bodies see them as less human..

Sometimes listening to the hypocrisy that stinks to high heaven makes one wince and squirm.

Those sanctions on Cuba and North Korea were half century old. They cause sufferings for millions down the generation. But the regimes did not fall? So, what is the purpose?

Russia to Sell Gas Globally in Rubles - TASS, 24 March

Russia will promptly start charging unfriendly countries in rubles for gas supplies, President Vladimir Putin announced. There are over 45 unfriendly countries on the list, including the United States and European Union members, as well as Australia, Canada, Singapore, Montenegro and Switzerland. Experts are confident that it is in fact the only way to overcome the dominant role of the dollar.

The idea of charging unfriendly countries in rubles for Russian gas supplies can be viewed as timely and coherent, said Professor with the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations at the State University of Management Yevgeny Smirnov. "It clearly stems from the need to strengthen the weakened national currency but it is more of an extraordinary measure and a political rather than an economic one. The pressure of sanctions imposed by the United States and European Union countries require unusual responses. Moreover, Russia needs to step up the use of national currencies in trade with friendly countries, too, and the trend has already emerged," the expert pointed out.

In many ways, it was Western countries that pushed Russia to take such a step because European companies’ suspension of trade with Russia led to a sharp decline in imports, and when there are no imports of goods and services, there is no need for the euro as a means of payment, Director of BCS World of Investment’s regional network for high-end clients Grigory Sosnovsky emphasized.

"Perhaps the move is a message or the first step on the long but inevitable road to Russia’s departure from dollar and euro payments. One thing is clear: the freezing of Russia’s assets cannot go unnoticed and Moscow will keep reacting to it," the analyst concluded.

Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin declared a “no limits” friendship between China and Russia before the Olympics began. Two months and a war later, Beijing’s envoy to the U.S. has added an important caveat.

“China and Russia’s cooperation has no forbidden areas, but it has a bottom line,” Ambassador Qin Gang told state-backed broadcaster Phoenix TV on Wednesday. “That line is the tenets and principles of the United Nations Charter, the recognized basic norms of international law and international relations.”

“This is the guideline we follow in bilateral relations between China and any other country,” Qin added, responding to a question about Beijing’s commitment to Moscow following its Feb. 24 invasion of Ukraine.

The remarks are the first from a Chinese official clarifying a lengthy joint statement released by the two countries last month that heightened concerns among U.S. allies about a rejuvenated China-Russia bloc. Since the invasion, China has sought to portray itself as neutral: Issuing statements supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and expressing concern about civilian casualties, while supporting Putin at the United Nations and blaming the U.S. for provoking the war by expanding the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

Xi has faced more pressure to distance himself with Putin, with President Joe Biden in a Friday call cautioning the Chinese leader against providing military or sanctions assistance to Moscow. Jake Sullivan, the U.S. national security advisor, said Wednesday administration officials “have not seen the Chinese government move forward on the supply of weapons, but it’s something we’re watching every day.”

Some prominent Chinese scholars have suggested Beijing should calibrate its relationship with Moscow. In a now-censored commentary, Hu Wei, a vice-chairman for the State Council-affiliated Public Policy Research Center, advocated in early March for a clear break from Russia “as soon as possible,” in a post republished by the Carter Center’s U.S.-China Perception Monitor’s website, which was then blocked in China.

Xiao Bin, a research fellow at the state-backed Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, last week noted that China and Russia’s strategic partnership “emerged from a state of no war,” saying that the subsequent invasion had changed those dynamics. “Therefore, China-Russia relations certainly have upper limits, which are the interests of the Chinese people,” he wrote on the website of the China-United States Exchange Foundation. That post is still available on China’s internet.

“In other words, relations should be constrained to areas that don’t harm those interests,” Xiao added.

Still, other prominent commentators have advocated for close China-Russia relations. Hu Xijin, former editor-in-chef of the Communist Party backed Global Times newspaper, called Russia the “most important partner” for China in a recent Weibo post.

“If the U.S. successfully drives a wedge between China and Russia, Russia will immediately face a strategic checkmate,” he wrote. “In a future conflict between China and the U.S., China will also face a losing game.”

Russia did embark on a long road to depart from the dollar. In fact over the years there were signs that Russia was serious about moving away from the dollar. Most important was that Russia really had no necessity to import oil and gas from the Middle East, and holding US$ was less important for them. Hence their disposal of their overall USA treasury holdings altogether years ago was a vital sign.

As an irreplaceable partner, Russia is strategically important to China. This is a consensus that has been formed in mainstream Chinese society. The Chinese people believe that a strong China-Russia relationship is sustainable, and Beijing's efforts to promote China-Russian friendship will be effective. But it is very difficult to resolve US hostility toward China, and Beijing's efforts in this regard may not necessarily yield the desired results.

The significance of China-Russia relations is reflected in various aspects, with mutual diplomatic support the most obvious. Russia has supported China on affairs relating to the Taiwan island, Hong Kong, Xinjiang and Xizang. But more importantly, China and Russia have formed a strategic pattern of mutual support.

Who is the No.1 strategic adversary viewed by the US today? The answer is China, not Russia. Russia has run up against a challenge and that's why Washington is piling most of the pressure on Moscow. During Donald Trump's presidency, the US wanted to improve ties with Russia. The Chinese people generally believe that over time, the US will point its sword against China again. Many believe that the US may coerce Russia to counter China someday, as Nixon partnered with China to counter the Soviet Union 50 years ago. They are also vigilant against the US' motive to drive a wedge between China and Russia.

Since the Trump administration, China has been under great strategic pressure of the US. The Chinese people had not anticipated that Russia, which was pushed to a strategic corner by NATO's eastward expansion, decided to no longer hold back its temper and completely turn the European geopolitics around. The move unexpectedly took away a large part of US strategic pressure toward China. For quite some time in the future, the confrontation between Russia and the US will be fierce. China has been at the forefront of confrontation against US hegemony since the trade war. But now, Russia stands at the forefront. This is a time for China to accumulate its strength. For the moment, China and Russia are taking turns in bearing the heaviest weight in terms of resisting US hegemony. This is a completely different geopolitical situation than when China was confronting the US alone.

The China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination in the new era is special. The ties have no limit, which deters the US. With Russia as a partner, if the US carries out maximum strategic coercion against China, China won't be afraid of the US' energy blockade, and our food supply will be secure. So will other raw materials. It will be harder for the US to make up its mind in engaging in a strategic showdown with China.

If a war breaks out in the Taiwan Straits or in the South China Sea, the US will find it hard to impose nuclear blackmail toward China, as China's conventional forces are getting increasingly stronger to overwhelm those of the US, and no matter Russia supports China or remains neutral at that time, it will be a super nuclear force which is hostile toward the US. China itself is a nuclear power. And the US will have to be wary of Russia leaping from a position of nuclear parity with the US to a position with nuclear advantage.

The strengths of China and Russia are complementary in the strategic field, and their cooperation will bring about endless geopolitical potential. Their strategic ties have certain containing effects toward Japan, as well as traction toward India. Their combined power is capable of keeping Central Asia stable, and away from US influence.

Sergey Lavrov: ‘Now — Russia, China is declared next’

Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov has delivered a lecture today at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). Among other things, he called the revival of the unipolar world the ultimate goal of the West, and the European Union, according to him, has lost its independence in conceptual issues. Read the details in the material of Realnoe Vremya.

“Ukraine was chosen as a tool to suppress Russian independence”

“There is no doubt that one of the rules that the West wants to implement is the deterrence of any competitor. Now Russia, China has been announced as the next, or all this will happen simulteneously. And the goal of this rules-based world order is nothing less than the complete revival of the unipolar world," Lavrov said today.

The attempt to create a new world order, according to the Russian minister of foreign affairs, has already been started.

“What is happening now in the world, of course, is not only, and not so much about Ukraine, it is about attempts to form a new order," he stressed. “Many years ago, about ten years ago, our Western colleagues began instead of the term 'international law', to which they have always called for all years of existence of the UN, instead of calls to comply with international law, they began to demand that everyone comply with the rules-based world order, respect the rules-based world order, observe these very rules. No one demand the rules from anyone, because there are no rules.”

According to Lavrov, for each specific case, the rules “are written in a narrow circle of Western countries, which then pass off as the ultimate truth and require everyone to comply with these rules”.

“The goal was to contain Russia, as well as to contain any other country that behaves more or less independently on the world stage. As for the Russian direction of NATO's policy, Ukraine was chosen as a tool for suppressing Russian independence," he stated.

The mentality by which the “anti-Russia” was built in Ukraine formed for years, Lavrov noted:

“EU officials, foreign ministers [of EU member states], publicly intervening in the course of the election campaign, stated — 'Ukrainians have to choose with whom they are with Europe or with Russia'. “That's how the question was posed. Even then it was 'either, or'.”

The establishment of a 'new world order' led by Washington was announced yesterday by US President Joe Biden. According to him, today the world is at a turning point, which is repeated every three or four generations.

“There will be a new world order, and we must lead it, we must unite the rest of the free world," said the head of the White House.

“All this is done for the needs of the North Atlantic Alliance, which has been advancing despite all obligations”

They contradict their own statements, clear and simple. So it is indeed dangerous biological weapons they were experimenting with, now in Russian hands, and turning around trying to accuse the Russians of wanting to use those weapons. And the Russians going to blame them following the USA's own playbook? Which country in the whole world is the master of using false flag to blame others in order to start wars? The answer does not require thinking.
