How true it is today! The amount of fabricated news generated by the Governments and MSM of the West is beyond belief. Yet those lackeys are swallowing them line, hook and sinker. Most are basically held by the crotch by the USA and cannot do otherwise. Pity them for just following the fake USA styled 'Freedom of Choice'.
But thankfully, geopolitics is changing fast. The recent vote at the UN against the Russian action in Ukraine tells us that that change is coming and fast. Countries like India and Saudi Arabia, both hardcore USA supporters before, did the unthinkable by abstaining. These two are major players in global geopolitics, not mini mice trying to punch above their weight.
I winced watching that USA spokesperson calling Putin's action in Ukraine 'barbaric'. How in the world could she say that without wincing or bat any eyelid? Each succeeding spokesperson trotted out by the White House seems to be getting more ignorant, myopic, uninformed and stupid. Oh yes, to become one the only qualification is 'stupidity'.
How barbaric are the Russians compared to the USA and NATO? Did the Russians used carpet bombing like the USA in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, killing millions of innocent women and children? Did the Russians used Agent Orange in Ukraine to destroy the vegetation and now making it impossible for some of the land to be used for agriculture forever? Did Russia used nuclear weapons, like the USA on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, claiming it was to save lives, when the reality was that it killed hundreds of thousands and left thousands suffering untold effects, all hidden from Western audience. The USA was actually testing the bombs to show they are ahead of the USSR in nuclear weapons. Now, who is the real barbarian? RB asked who is the real criminal just yesterday.
People must open their eyes, use their heads and think deeply when reading all the propaganda churned out by the West. The fact that they are cracking down on the truth on social media sites tell us that they cannot handle the truth.

Wars are only evil when Westerners are victims
There's a deep-seated belief in the Western public's psyche that white lives are more precious than those of others living in countries considered to be unpleasant. Wars are justified and tolerated if led by the West. The hypocrisy and racism of reporting on Russia-Ukraine has made this abundantly clear when the tragedies of the 21st century, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya and Yemen did not elicit the pious posturing of Europeans and Americans as Russia-Ukraine has.
For the first time, this duplicity has been exposed to the global majority by social media and other tech-enabled forms of communication. Hundreds of thousands of videos and messages have reached every corner of the world, as Arabs, Indians, Chinese, Africans, South Americans have the scale of this hypocrisy made crystal clear.
This is helping to combat centuries of Western propaganda, which portrayed white Westerners as superior, righteous, civilizing and the natural leaders of the world -- a perpetuation of white privilege stemming from brutal colonial exploits.
The sheer influence of this system was previously only recognized by some, but now there is a global conversation taking place about why the West is depicting the civilian tragedy of this conflict as somehow incomparable to other conflicts. And that is why many smart leaders of small countries are realising that this is the time to hedge their bet on Russia and China, instead of remaining cowed and under the control and threat of the evil empire.
And that is why the USA and the West are going all out to fabricate frivolous claims to drive a wedge between the Russia/China relationship. They keep hammering on the issue that China must come out to take a stand over the Ukraine crisis. Why not pester India, Brazil or Saudi Arabia? China and Russia must never fall for such monkey tricks.

By doing so, Trump thinks China will export less to USA and USA citizens can look to locally produced alternatives. But the USA now makes nothing except planes and weapons. The people paying the extra tariffs on those consumer goods are the USA citizens. It was more a tax increase on them, but they never realise it. And they love it and think it is an excellent idea to punish China...
If the USA could produce those goods itself, then tariff increases might work by making China imports more expensive and USA citizens will then buy local. But most of the things at Walmart are from China, probably the only competitive source, so where is the alternative?
Now, trade wars are easy to win, or easy to loose? Think about it.
The old myth that only the coloured people all live in countries thought to be unpleasant. That myth has been smashed to pieces if they care to visit China or some of the Middle Eastern countries. They will be aghast.
Then look at the situation in many states of the USA. People without homes and living in tents along highways - sleeping, reproducing and eating, on top of pooing and peeing at street corners. It was a shock to some coloured people that visited places like California. They just wonder how could the richest country in the world be like this.
So, myths are myths and people in the USA are never updated on what is happening around the world, because their Government and MSM failed to enlighten them purposefully. The MSM is only preoccupied with fabricating fake news, distorting the truth and pulling wool over the people's eyes.
Come election time, the same old problems will be discussed, given a new coating of paint, promised to be looked into, but never move beyond congress. It is a wonderful system of the right hand and the left hand taking turns to sit in the White House, with the Deep State pulling the strings.

Not really. They can follow Mr Twain's sage advice and be uninformed. Social media is bad for your mental health. This is not my claim, but several studies have come to this conclusion.
Whatever happens in the world is beyond any single person's control. If global leaders have no control, we "little people" are deluding ourselves that anything we say or do---including voting---will make any difference.
