When China was first hit by Covid19, and when the cases were soaring but only 20,000, long before it reached 80,000, many countries were losing no time to shut out Chinese visitors to their countries. Now there are more than 3m Americans infected and the number is likely to be 10 times higher, why is it that no country is putting a ban on Americans entering their country When New York is putting Americans from other states under mandatory quarantine? The Europeans are considering but still not banning Americans from entering Europe? Is it that the virus in the Americans is less dangerous or it is because the virus in them are white in colour?

COVID-19 Pandemic - Melbourne Begins 2nd Lock-Down While Singapore Risks Its Citizens In General Elections

I have just cast my vote. I witnessed the polling station was even more congested and crowded than in previous GE. There were too many check points set up in close intervals, within a small school canteen and too many "kay-pohs" hanging around looking important and pretend to be busy, and very few voters bordered to keep the safety distance despite the markings on the floor.
In 2011 and 2015, without the Pandemic Coronavirus spreading, the polling stations were double the size of the present one and voters were more spaced out. They used the school's sports hall and assembly hall which are much bigger than the canteen! So, all the talks about necessary safety measures to be put in place have been thrown to the winds, especially when the size of the location is not carefully considered.
The police did not allow me to take photos or video. Otherwise, I would have captured the evidence of congestion and crowding at the polling station that I have cast my vote.
So, is it gangho and foolhardy, or is it insensitive and cruel?

In any GE, morning usually crowded, long queues.
