Ajit Ghose, an economist at the Institute for Human Development in Delhi, says that India needs to generate jobs not only for fresh entrants to the workforce — who number 6 million to 8 million a year, according to his estimate....
For India’s educated youths, searching for a job that meets their aspirations can feel like a marathon.
The above comments were posted by an anonymous commentator. He could have copied them from some Indian media. The facts raised are pertinent and reflected the problems of unemployment in India. But as pointed out, India needs not worry. There is Singapore that has abundant jobs and waiting to fill them with Indians from India. If I am not mistaken, Singapore even sent recruitment delegations to India to tap on their massive talent pool to replace the useless talents here.
The lack of talent in Singapore and the abundance in India could create a symbiotic relationship between the two states. Singapore could send its useless PMETs to apply for jobs with India Railway as helper, porter, cleaner, gateman, track maintainer, assistant switchman. These jobs are no different than the cleaner jobs offered to them at workfare here. In fact they are of higher grades. The only problem I could foresee is the the Singaporean PMETs may not match the qualifications of the Indians applying for the railway jobs. They are all highly qualified, some may have masters or Ph Ds.
On the other hand, the millions of Indian talents can come to Singapore to fill up the places vacated by the useless and untalented Singapore PMETs. Singapore can easily take in a couple of millions of India's unemployed or even more. Never mind if Indians would become the majority race in Singapore as long as they are talented, with masters or multiple masters degrees and Ph Ds from God knows where. A talent is a talent, no need to bother about the authenticity and quality of the papers. The papers cannot be eaten. If they are good engineers without engineering degrees or with fake degrees, never mind as long as they can do the jobs of engineers. The services of MRT would definitely improved with their skills and talents.
India sending their unemployed here and Singapore sending our unemployed there would benefit both countries. This must be included in the CECA to make it easier for the exchange. Singapore would definitely become the best of the first world countries with so much talents from India's unemployed. Economic growth sure no problem. And India should reciprocate by giving a few top medals to our top leaders for helping to solve India's unemployment problem.

2019 is going to be a very bad year for the Singapore worker as the global economic picture deteriorates (data just out shows China's December exports tumbled 4.4% from a year ago, defying marketed expectations for a 2.5% increase).
India will face more pressure to export even more of its unemployed masses to Singapore, maybe via the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) now under negotiations - PM Modi was in Singapore a couple of months ago, demanding other RCEP countries accommodate India's export of services (aka jobs for India's unemployed in the RCEP countries).

Singapore, Amaravati commence development of Welcome Gallery
Singapore, Jan 14 (ANI): Development of the proposed Welcome Gallery in Amaravati has begun, thus strengthening the first phase of collaboration between Singapore and Andhra Pradesh. Last week, Singapore's Minister for Communications and Information and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations, S Iswaran had visited Amaravati to attend the commencement ceremony of the exhibition-cum-community centre with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
The project is being developed by Amaravati Development Partners (ADP) Pvt Ltd, which is a joint venture between Singapore Amaravati Investment Holdings (SAIH) and Amaravati Development Corporation. SAIH, in turn, is a wholly-owned joint venture company comprising Ascendas-Singbridge Andhra Investment Holdings and Sembcorp Development India.
The Ascendas-Singbridge Group, which undertakes projects to develop townships, mixed-used developments, business and industrial parks, hotels, offices and warehouses, is jointly owned by Singapore government investment arm Temasek Holdings and JTC Corporation, a Singapore statutory board.
India's ambition is simply to send as many Indians as they could to this island and eventually this island would belong to India when they become the majority. They are exploiting the CECA to achieve this with some stupid people, collaborators and traitors helping India to achieve this goal to take over this island without a fight.
Temasek is soon selling its portion of Ascendas-Singbridge to Capitaland. After the sale, Capitaland will become one of the top 10 largest property managers & developers in the world.
Won't be surprised after that if Ascendas Reit will be merged with CapitaCommercial Trust.

I think you have it backwards. Temasek is the one that will end up owning most of Asia. See how Keppel and Sembawang Corp made gazilions in Brazil? Who do you think built many of the oil rigs used by PetroBras which turned Brazil into an energy exporter? It was Temasek money lah.
China will at one point (it’s happening slowly already) have many “price corrections” in their bubbles. I have a feeling Temasek will strike when the time is right to own Chinese assets.
At the end of the day, Singapore is richer than China. Not in total, but in terms of wealth per capita. We have over 2 trillion in reserves --- about the amount China has invested in US Securities (denominated in shitty toilet-paper US dollars). If the US dollar collapses, China’s money stored in US Treasuries drops like grandmother tetek.
Sovereign wealth funds have the economic power to shift entire economies and to change the financial landscape. And Temasek ((and the GIC), those arse-kickers from a tiny little red dot are not to be trifled with.

The world economic system is on shakey ground. It doesn’t seem to want to collapse and die, so it is “whip sawing” up and down like a yoyo. Everything is in a bubble: stocks, debt, real estate, cryptos...and most people are resigned to the thought that one day this thing will have to crash...but so far any attempt at prediction has failed. People called a crash in 2016-2017, but what happened is that the market went even HIGHER leaving the ex-spurts scratching their heads. Then over the last few months it has been “correcting”, and within a few days, retracing and going up again. Then down again. Then up again. 😂🤪
But one day, the inevitable will happen, and when it does, China which has really terok-terbokok DEBT is going to kena BIG TIME.
….and when it does, they will SEEK ADVICE and HELP from Singapore...from us. Remember this, we are still training their key people, not many now. But 30,000 have already been trained by Singapore, in “the Lee Kuan Yew and Goh Kheng Swee way of running a cuntry”.
This is when Temasek will strike and offer CASH for deeply discounted Chinese assets --- maybe even a few NATIONAL assets, and we the citizens of Singapore who pledged ourselves as one united people will own a nice chunk of cash-flowing, wildly profitable Chinese assets.
