Scott Bessent is truly delusional talking rubbish with his warp way of thinking. Why can't China do what it is doing to become prosperous? China does not steal or sanctioned others from doing what they are doing to be prosperous, unlike the USA. The USA prevented Japan and Germany from becoming too prosperous to overtake it.

Is it wrong to become prosperous through hard and honest work and producing better and cheaper stuff for export? If USA and other Western countries cannot compete against China, that is not China's problem. What are big businesses doing if not to become prosperous through further expansion? Will the USA tell those companies not to sell too much of their production to become prosperous. Are only USA companies allowed to do that. Is that what the USA mean by Rules Based Order?

On the other hand, can China also tell the USA to stop printing toilet papers and thus printing itself into prosperity by exporting its inflation to other countries. Can China complain about the USA weaponizing the US$ to make other countries poor and hapless? What is sauce for the goose must also be sauce for the gander. There cannot be rules for one party and not using the same rules for the other to follow.

The USA now wants all manufacturing to reshore to the USA. So, the USA is trying to become the only country to have prosperity while denying others from becoming prosperous. That is hypocrisy stinking to high heaven.

India's Boeing crash - would the investigators tell the truth?

The investigation will be carried out to protect the image of Boeing, nothing more. The kill switch theory seems unlikely, not for a passenger jet and for Boeings image, not that it is not possible. The cargo manifests may shed some light. Was the plane overloaded is another theory, but most unlikely unless there is corruption involved.

The plane took off, rose to 625 feet, lost power to rise further and crashed into a hostel. There was one survivor who jumped out as he was sitting near an emergency exit. He could provide useful information.

These was no indication of a bird strike either, with no fire or smoke emitting from the engine that was evident with the Jeju crash. That the landing gears were still visible probably indicates a massive electrical power failure. We just have to wait for the result to be culled from the black boxes.

This is a very sad accident. Sympathies to the families of those who lost their lives.

By the way, Singapore Airlines has a 25% investment in Air India, with Tata Group holding a 75% stake. How this will play out for SIA is still not clear. Air India had been suffering losses over the decades, and this crash is undoubtedly going to add to its financial trouble.

American Rules Based Order - Right to attack another country using self defence lie

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Israel acted unilaterally because it believes the operation was necessary for self-defence.

"Tonight, Israel took unilateral action against Iran. We are not involved in strikes against Iran and our top priority is protecting American forces in the region," Rubio said in a statement.  CNA

This is American terrorists Rules Based Order. Just claimed another country is a threat and in the name of self defence, it is justifiable to attack another country. China is a threat, Russia is a threat, North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba etc etc are a threat to America. In the name of self defence, America can attack them anytime they pleased.

This is not international law, not UN law, but law of the jungle, law of the American terrorists. Be warned, when the American terrorists called a country a threat, they are free to attack that country. Many African countries are a threat, Traore of Burkina Faso is a threat. And the Americans and the French are going to attack Burkina Faso to kill him.

What kind of law is this? How many silly Asians and Asean countries would agree with this American terrorist law?

When would Asean countries use this as an excuse to attack one another? When would China and Russia use this as an excuse to attack the USA? By the way, China and Russia or any country have never called another country a threat. China and Russia did not call the Americans a threat despite the provocation and daily calls for war by the Americans. Iran was living in peace, minding its own business. The Americans and Israelis called it a threat, accusing it of wanting to build nuclear bombs. Now the massive bombing of Iran, killing at least 20 top Iranian generals and several nuclear scientists. This is aggression, an act of war. Trump is gloating about it. He knew about the attack, he approved it. He said that if Iran would kneel and agree to all the terms in the negotiation, he would not release the American war dogs to attack Iran. But Iran did not agree, so the war dogs were released to attack Iran's nuclear facilities and anything the Israelis chose to hit. Britain and France immediately came out in support of the attack, calling Iran the aggressor. What had Iran done to be the aggressor?

And on the Arab and Muslim front, not a word to be heard. Jordan was reported to be helping the Israelis to shoot down Iranian drones. Iraq was where the Israelis launched their air attacks. Not a single Arab and Muslim state dares to open its precious mouth to condemn the aggression. In the eastern front, Asean also very quiet. Not a word from Asean. All went hiding.

The same goes for the Global South, all in shock and awe, fearing that they will be the next target. Better run and hide. Just a month ago, China openly condemned and threatened Israel, sounding out to the Arab and Muslim states that China would stand up for them if they are ready to unite against the Americans and the Israelis. But totally no response from the Arab and Muslim world. So China quietly backed down. 

Would this be a wakeup call for the Arab and Muslim world to stand up and be united against the white savages and call in China and Russia to defend Iran? Would Asian and Asean still be screaming that they trust the Americans more than China? This is an act of war against the Global South in general and the Arab and Muslim world in particular. The Americans and Israelis are saying, 'We attack anyone we like'. Who dares to oppose the American and Israeli warmongers? Better to buy more American weapons and join the Americans to fight China?

The warning shot has been fired. The Americans and the white men are going to rule the world, forever. Just accept your fate. Ruled by white men is so fun, so peaceful. They are so kind, like white gods. Quick, jump in bed with them.

China manages property markets to stop speculation

Scott Bessent is still flogging a dead horse, proclaiming that China cannot survive without the USA and China could collapse without going to kiss Trump's arse. Did China collapsed after the fall of Evergrande and the Chinese property market as a whole, mirroring the collapse of the USA housing market in 2008 that needed a massive bailout by the USA Government?

I want to talk further about China's property market collapse because I did read a report about foreign investors waiting on the sidelines for a bailout by the Chinese Government after their buying in right after the property market collapsed, hoping to cash in. It was not to happen, and they were burnt badly by the Chinese Government's refusal to bail out property developers. Instead, the Chinese Government was prepared to let property developers bite the dust. Nothing is too big to fail in the eyes of the Chinese Government. The Chinese Government was then navigating into supporting the other growth sectors like EVs, chips, aviation and shipbuilding sectors, on top of encouraging domestic spending with all the subsidies and funding trotted out.

Help was never going into the property sector, and any bailout for that sector would encourage more speculation. As Xi told the people, homes are for living in, not for speculative purposes. The Chinese have learnt valuable lessons from Japan and the USA. Investors from USA and the West were burnt so badly, they are livid and hated the CCP.

There has been so much talk about funds moving out of China, together with Western companies moving investments out of China after the collapse of the property sector in China. That has now basically been reversed by Trump with his tariff war. Foreign investors know they cannot do without the Chinese market, even with the property market now a hot potato for them to hold on to.

As they say silence is golden. China knows that frivolous claims on the media is not going to do much good, going up against the biggest propaganda machine in the world. China just let Trump, and his sycophants make all the noises and hype up all the claims of success. The whole world knows that they can only believe the final word from Xi, not the propaganda espoused by the MSM and the Trump administration.

Chinese leaders do not basically like to shout their mouths off and be seen as just megaphones blasting loudly inside an echo chamber. Chinese leaders and their spokespersons have always been seen to be truthful, calm, careful with their words and avoiding boastful chest beating. They always try to avoid having to walk back on what they said, a shame they do not take lightly.

Asians generally wants to avoid shame: a trait not lost on those who takes the trouble to study Asian characteristics throughout history. The Japanese, in the past, even equate shame as something worse than dying, and some have chosen 'hara kiri' or self-immolation, as a way out of their shame. Compare that with USA leaders shaming themselves every day with atrocious and frivolous outburst, thinking that as a way to boost their ego. How sad.
