China US London Talk - Rare earths deal done!

The two day talks in London ended without any joint statement, no photo ops of a happy ending.  Both sides said the talk was productive and an agreement “in principle to a framework” was reached and both sides would bring it home for review and approval by their top leaders. What the statement said is quite clear, just a framework to work with, maybe like both sides were to treat each other on an equal basis, or maybe meeting once a quarter, maybe each will pay their own lunch, what level of representation, nothing else has been agreed on.

From the Chinese side, their term of reference is very simple. No need to agree on anything, no hurry, take all the time needed, hear them out and then come back home. On the American side, try to force the Chinese to close a deal quickly, the sooner the better. The situation in the US is getting bad and getting worse every day. There is an urgency to close the deal for Trump to show off. So, you have a very relax Chinese delegation with no pressure of time for an agreement, very polite and smiling and listening, against the American delegation with orders from Trump to close the deal. And Trump is waiting eagerly in the White House for good news from London, checking his phone repeatedly.

Now it is all over the American media that a deal is done. And Trump is saying that China will be releasing all the rare earths for American industries and for American Military Industrial Complex to make more weapons to start a war with China. And Trump is so happy that he agreed to let Chinese students to continue their studies in the US. In addition, American tariff against China would be raised to 55% against China's 10%. 

The Chinese side did not say anything other than the framework. What Trump is saying is that China sent a high level delegation to London to offer sale of rare earths on a silver platter and were grateful that the Americans would let Chinese students to study in America. Trump is so happy with the negotiation and calling it an excellent relationship and thanking the Chinese profusely for the rare earths. Trump is as good as saying the Chinese delegation went home carrying a white flag.

What more is Trump going to spin? Oh, Xi is so happy with Trump's generosity and is inviting him to visit Beijing? The Chinese have forgotten what the negotiation was all about, nothing about chips and all the bans and sanctions imposed by Trump. They are very happy just with the students able to study in the USA.

Clown Zelensky begging American devils to help

Clown Zelenskyy is asking the USA to take action over the current drone attacks by Russia. Zelenskyy wants to play with fire and is now getting his just desserts. What about his own drone attack on the Russian airfield, destroying several aircrafts? Of course, we have to believe and assume that the USA was not involved in that attack on Russia, right? Asking a thief for help may be asking to lose everything in the process.

Zelenskyy reported himself that the USA just moved 20,000 of its missiles for the defense of Ukraine to the Middle East. He does not seem to know that the USA giving him hints that he has thrown him under the bus. The USA knows that Ukraine is a lost cause for the USA to pursue, now that the rare earth resources that the USA had been eyeing was just fake news to keep the USA involved.

Actually, that news of a rare earth deposit in Ukraine is just an attempt to make a mountain out of a mole hill, to fool Trump obviously. Whatever rare earth minerals that the USA can get its hands on still needs China's refining logistics to make them into useful magnets. Nothing more! Of course, the USA and its allies can set up the refining logistics themselves, up and running probably a decade from now, in the face of pollution and environmental issues to be settled first. Those are expensive investments and who wants to set them up to compete with China? It is a no brainer, throwing good money after bad.

Trump digging a big hole in the education industry

 There are more than 270,000 Chinese students studying in the USA as reported, and when a push comes to shove, China will be the biggest beneficiary, with its universities now ranked highly in global higher studies statistics.

For Chinese parents, nothing beats having children studying close to home, at a fraction of the cost in tuition fees, savings on expenses like housing in the USA and cost of vacation travel. Cheaper, better and safer is what takes the cake, all thanks to Trump.

Again, it is going to be a huge loss for one side and a bountiful gain for the other. The tuition fees in USA universities are not to be sniffed at. And USA universities will have to find ways and means to fill up the big financial hole left behind by those Chinese students. This is on top of the losses by retail outlets and food and beverage establishments that cater to those students. The financial loss will not be confined to just the universities but is going to be more far reaching. Jobs may be lost too, for universities and supporting facilities.

Bessant demanding others to bend to solve American problems

Scott Bessent demands that China obeys USA currency rules. China is already doing massive trade with Russia in Yuan and Rubles, more than 92% in fact. Likewise, more countries in BRICS are doing it among themselves. The USA wants China, Russia and other BRICS countries to forgo doing all that? China is the prime mover and biggest economy in BRICS to be on target by the USA. Keep dreaming!

USA Treasury Department is also demanding that Japan hike rates, while Japan is already mired in economic problems up to its eyebrows. This will decimate Japan's exports further, raise interest payments on its debts that is already 260% of its GDP. This is unsustainable. Japan needs more exports with a weaker Yen, not a more expensive one.

USA literally destroyed Japan's economy earlier by depreciating the US$ massively against the Yen under the Plaza Accord in 1985, put together by the G5 then - USA, Germany, France, UK and Japan, under which Japan's economy stagnated for more than three decades. It was a coup by the Anglo-Saxon Whites against Japan, with Japan being the sacrificial lamb led to the slaughter. Japan has never managed to recover since.

The USA cares little about Japan's economic problems and is now throwing Japan under the bus, with the current tariffs still to be negotiated. Japan is in deep economic trouble and has little room to maneuver, unlike China.

Trump's War against Americans using brave Marines!

"Generations of army heroes did not shed their blood on distant shores only to watch our country be destroyed by invasion and third-world lawlessness," Trump told soldiers at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. Now they should take out the American protestors before they destroyed America homeland and be honoured again as heroes.

Trump tells soldiers Los Angeles protests are national security risk. Everything is security risk. If Melanie were to slap Trump, she too would become national security risk, just like Elon Musk. Trump is great, America is great...again.

Tariff is a beautiful word.  Trump found another beautiful and convenient word, national security risk. This can be used on anyone, anything, on students, on seals and penguins. Trump is so intelligent.

They have all been trained and have gained valuable experience fighting and killing tribesmen and herdsmen in Africa and Afghanistan. They now have a chance to put their war experience with the American citizens. What a lovely sight.
