The Diabolical white men and their endless aggressions : PART TWO: Western aggressions against China in the 16th , 17th and 18th Century were largely repulsed

     PART    Two  A  : The age of Western European rampage and invasions.

The Portuguese and Spanish adventurists and sea marauders

 Before the Middle Age of the 15th Century the barbaric European tribes were living in the Dark Age when they were always fighting and killing against each other. Then the Mongol invasions of Europe and Russia from the 12th Century to the 15th Century  brought stories of the great Civilization of China. The European tribes  learnt from the Mongols the  many Chinese scientific inventions some of which were making of gun powder, guns and cannons, Later the stories of Marco Polo about the grandeur of China fired their imaginations and that was the catalyst that stirred and created the great renaissance of Europe. 

With the Renaissance and the newly acquired knowledge of making gun powder, guns and cannons the savage European tribes went on a rampage to ravage the non-white people of Africa, Asia and the Americas.

These early Western aggressions have  strong and sinister bearings on present day Western aggressions worldwide. The psyche of aggressions is the same only the modus operandi varies and the killings and genocide more massive, intensive and violent. The white people especially the Anglo-Saxons and the Teutonics Christians do not have even an iota of remorse for killing innocent non-white people. Former American Secretary of State Albright arrogantly and proudly declared that "the killings of 500,000 Iraqi children is worth it because they are non-white muslims, and also because it is necessary in order to secure the United States and Western power and dominance around the world."

In the 16th Century the bandit-like colonialists, merchants and adventurists of Europe appeared in China one after another.

In 1517 eight Portuguese warships intruded into the Zhujiang estuary, Guangzhou and opened fire. Then under the leadership of Fernao Perez de Andrade they started to build batteries and fortification in Tunmen at the mouth of Zhujiang estuary. These Portuguese colonialist bandits and raiders were doing the same thing in Africa, America and other parts of Asia. Chinese historical records labelled them as barbaric robbing travellers who kidnapped small children for food,  rounded up innocent citizens to be sold as slaves and built fortifications for the purpose of attack. They killed innocent people and pirated ships. They were extremely rampant and wild. They were so wicked that the Ming government in 1521 had to send troops to expel them from Tunmen. 

Later other Portuguese bandits arrived at the Fujian and Zhejiang coasts and conducted similar piratical activities. In 1546 the Ming forces in Ningbo launched a punitive campaign against these pirates in which more than 500 Portuguese were killed. The Ming forces destroyed a Portuguese military base in Shuangyu Harbour along the Zhejiang coast. In 1547 the Ming forces also attacked and drove away the Portuguese pirates from the Fujian coast.

As the result of Ming actions the Portuguese were unable to do in China what they did with their military superiority in other parts of the world. However through treachery and bribery of  local Ming officials they succeeded in 1561 to obtain the right of residence in Macao.

The Spaniards occupied the Philippines in1571 during the Ming Dynasty. Through subterfuge they managed to get Ming approval for some kind of trade relationship with China. In 1584 the Spanish governor-general of the Philippines  made known Spain's intention of conquering China. He arrogantly claimed that he would only need 10,000 Spanish soldiers to conquer the whole of China. It was a mad ambition typical of the Spanish colonialists at the time.

PART    Two    B :    The Russian invaders

In the middle of the 17th Century Tsarist Russia was encroaching on China's northern and northeastern border. Russia was a feudal empire bent on aggression against China. In the beginning of the 17th Century the Tsarist government supported and funded Russian adventurists, merchants and bandits to venture eastward to seize Chinese lands for  Russia. They extorted furs, hides and other wealth from the nomads that lived in the vast lands from Lake Baikal to the Sea of Okhotsk facing the Pacific Ocean. They enslaved the natives and mercilessly slaughtered those who dared to resist.In the 1640s when they reached the Heilongjiang valley they were resisted by Chinese forces. But the Tsarist aggressors did not give up their ambition easily. They invaded and occupied the town of Nerchinsk in the Heilongjiang region and built a fortress in an attempt to expand further downstream . 

In 1685 and 1686 the Chinese government sent troops to destroy the fortress. In 1689 under the Treaty of Nerchinsk Russia had to abandon Nerchinsk to China. The Russians were allowed to trade at the Outer Xingan Mountains that extended all the way to the Sea of Okhotsk, opposite Sakhalin Island and Japan. South of the Outer Xingan Mountain range and territories north and south of the Heilonjiang River were Chinese territories which the Russians were forbidden to encroach. However, the Russians never give up their sinister motive of conquering the region. 

For more than a hundred years the Russians respected and observed the Treaty of Nerchinsk. Peace prevailed in the north. But in 1805 Russian ships landed in Macao. The Chinese government would not allow Russia to trade in any of China's seaports since they were already allowed to carry on land trade in the north.

Dutch intruders in China

In the 17th Century Portuguese and Spanish hegemonic power on the high seas was seized by the Dutch and the British. Holland was very aggressive in attacking Indonesia. It took over all the major islands of Indonesia where it imposed the most barbarous and cruelest colonialist rule. In 1601 the Dutch ships landed in Guangzhou and later proceeded to occupy the Penghu Islands which they built a fortress and a military to attack Xiamen and other areas along the coast. Like their Portuguese predecessors the Dutch built fortifications and practised piracy, kidnapped innocent Chinese to perform forced labour or sent to Java, Indonesia as slaves. In 1624 the Ming government recaptured the Penghu Islands from the Dutch invaders. 

Later the Dutch attacked and invaded Taiwan. However in 1661 a Chinese hero Zheng Chenggong drove the Dutch from Taiwan and thus the Dutch ambition of conquering China finally came to an end. 

England's first arrival in China.

By the end of the 16th Century England had succeeded in destroying Spain's power on the high seas. In the 17th Century, England competed with Portugal to attain hegemony in India and other places in the orient. In 1637 four British ships stormed into the Zhujiang estuary and bombarded the Humen batteries.But the British ships also suffered heavy damages and were forced to beat a hasty retreat. However, like the other savage European invaders, England never give up hope of occupying China and the benefit of the profitable China trade. 

China's encounters with the Westerners at her seaports in the 16th and 17th centuries were anything but peaceful traders. In fact they came as capitalist colonialist adventurists of plunder. They held aloft the Holy Bible but were actually plunderers engaged in piracy, robbing, killing and genocide of natives wherever they landed. Karl Marx had described the Western capitalist Christian colonial system as evil and wicked in no uncertain terms: "The barbarities and desperate outrages of the so-called Christian race, throughout every region, and upon every people they have been able to subdue, are not to be parallel by those of any other race, however fierce, however untaught, and however reckless of mercy and of shame, in any age of the earth."

To prove the correctness of Karl Marx conclusive observation of the evil Western barbaric colonial system we can cite countless facts showing how the Portuguese, the Spaniards, the Dutch, the British and the French mistreated Indians in America, blacks in Africa and Asians in India, Indonesia and the Philippines during the 16th, 17th , 18th and 19th centuries as well as the illtreatment and genocide of natives in Australia and New Zealand. They cheated, plundered and enslaved all the natives who had the misfortune of meeting with them. They seized and took over the land on which the natives had lived for many, many generations. They even committed genocide and wiped out entire natiionalities.

The Westerners did not come to China with goodwill or good intentions. They came to China with full of  diabolical plots and evil intentions. One America writer, Chester Holcombe who once served as an envoy to China said in 1910 of his observations of Westerners who arrived in China from the 16th to the 19th centuries. The following is what he said, 

"The conduct of all these pioneers of the so-called peaceful commerce was such as befitted pirates rather than amiably disposed and civilized men, and they well deserved not merely exclusion from the Empire [China], but extermination by the hands of the Chinese authorities. They harried the southern coasts of China, plundered and destroyed towns and cities, killed inoffensive men, women and children by scores and hundreds, and then sailed peacefully away. As they landed, they forced the native Chinese to construct fofrtifications for them, by the most outrageous brutalities , seized and carried away women, robbed the natives of whatever valuables they possessed, and violated every principle of humanity and decency." 

Before the 19th century the Chinese had no idea of what the Christian European countries did in the various parts of the world. But they showed themselves to be barbaric by their behaviour the moment they arrived in China. Thus the Chinese government was compelled to take certain measures to protect the Chinese people and the country from their wanton misbehaviour and diabolical activities.

Throughout China's long history, the Chinese people and government had always been open minded and  most hospitable and fair-minded toward foreign traders without showing any bias or prejudice. After the 16th century the Ming government strictly enforced certain preventive and protective measures with regard to these "uninvited guests" from Western Europe. They had to do so because the wild ravaging uninvited guests from Western Europe did not give them much choice. 

An American diplomat and author, John W. Foster regretted the brute behaviour of the uninvited guests of Western European Christian marauders and said the following in 1903:

"In the sixteenth century ---- the rulers of China did not fail to note the aggressive spirit of the Portuguese, Dutch and Spaniards, who had taken possession by force the Philippines, Java and other islands and had acquired a foothold in India and the Malay Peninsula. The early intercourse in its own ports with these nationalities and the English and French , so marked by violence and bloodshed , led the Chinese authorities to stringent measures in the seventeenth century, which resulted in the closing of all ports except that of Canton [ Guangzhou ], and even at that port foreign intercourse was conducted under very onerous conditions."

It must be said that as far as the Tang Dynasty [ 618 - 906 ] AD and Song Dynasty [ 960 - 1279 ] AD, Guangzhou, Chuanzhou and Xiamen in the Fujian province were ports of international trade where foreign ships mostly from the Arabs were free to anchor. Due to the violent behaviour of the Portuguese, the Dutch and the British especially after the British in 1637 destroyed the Chinese Humen batteries in Guangzhou that the Ming government ordered that from then on foreign ships were not allowed to sail up the Zhujiang estuary and other Chinese rivers and ports. The Chinese government only recognized Macao as the only legitimate place for foreign trade and for foreigners to take temporary residence. The validity of the order was reconfirmed by the Qing Dynasty.

The present violent, savage and banditry behaviour and diabolical plots of the United States and the West toward China  reflect those of the previous centuries of the Western European adventurists, buccaneers and sea marauders. Only now China and the Chinese people are well armed and equipped, confident and more than ready to repulse them and smashed them to complete destruction. Thus it can be seen the present US and Western aggressions against China is but the continuation of their previous centuries of  aggressive attacks and wars on China. Only this time a mighty well armed China with full state of the art of the latest most modern weaponeries and nuclear arms will definitely prevail in victory over the unruly savage banditry Western countries led by the senseless lunatic madness and illogical bellicosity of the ungodly Anglo-Saxon United States.

Less we forget. You will be shocked at the cruelty of man

 

The Chinese and the people of the world must never forget this. If this short clip of 2 minutes did not move you, I dunno what to say.

For the young people in Singapore, you are still here because the Japanese did not finish their massacre of the Chinese during the Occupation. If they did it fully, you would not have the chance to be born as your parents and grandparents would have been victims of their genocide.

Marijuana legal in USA - Time for celebration

Activists celebrating the recent legalization of recreational pot in New York state handed out free doobies in Manhattan to anyone with proof they had received at least one vaccine shot.

"This is the first time we can sit around and legally hand people joints," said Michael O'Malley, one of the organizers of the "Joints for Jabs" giveaway in Union Square.

"We're supporting the federal effort to roll out vaccinations. And we're also trying to get them to federally legalize weed," he told AFP.

The legalising of marijuana in the USA is about the best thing that can happen to the Americans, and hopefully it will also be legalised in the UK and 5 eyes countries. This is a continuation of their generous legacy of sharing their opium with the Chinese in the 19th Century.  Now they are doing exactly what they preached and believed then, that drugs consumption is a good thing. It makes the consumers happier and more productive. A Sarah Overholt was quoted as saying, "I smoke every day and I am a better person if I smoke, trust me," she said with a smile."

The Qing govt was wrong then to ban opium in China. They did not know how happy the Chinese would be if opium was legalised then and needed not fight a losing Opium War and had to pay compensation to the sellers of opium and even had to cede Hong Kong away to UK for 150 years. 

Now the Americans are going to prove to the world how good marijuana can be, a milder form of drugs to opium. When marijuana is popularly used all over the US and maybe UK, we would have many happy and productive people to prove China was wrong to ban opium.

This is time to call for celebration. It is the best thing to happen in the USA and UK. 

Just keep it away from Singapore. China would simply sit by and watch this beautiful experiment and the many beautiful people and beautiful sights in the USA...and probably UK. The Americans and Anglo Saxons have been given a chance to do the right thing, to prove to the world that drugs like marijuana are gifts from heaven.

And they can enjoy all their freedom, especially freedom to own guns and play with guns. America is really and truly a free country, free to take drugs, free to own guns and free to shoot and kill.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has laid out US policy toward the People’s Republic of China - a manifesto upholding Washington’s vow to prevent China from surpassing the US. However, China is a nation with a population several times the size of the US (and the G7 combined) and is making the transition from developing to a developed nation - surpassing the US is inevitable. Only through subversion and conflict can the US even attempt to prevent this - and that is precisely what the US government including the State Department has been doing and is announcing it will continue doing.

How the West spun wicked toxic lies to condemn and suppress the Chinese Civilisation

 China was an ancient Civilisation of dynasties, with emperors, courts, legal systems, a thriving economy, trade, artisans, craftsman, literati, alchemists, medicine, language, arts and culture, all in all, a very advanced Civilisation versus the rest of the world till the 19th Century. When the savage Europeans embarked on a conquest of the world, they presumed that they were the only civilised people, more advanced than the rest of the world. They were convinced of their superiority as they swept through Africa, East Asia, South Asia and SE Asia and the Americas with their warships and guns. But when they landed in China, they were awed by a Civilisation that was more superior to them, except in the weapons of war. The Chinese courts and palaces were a splendour to the eyes of the European savages, drinking tea in fine porcelain. They had not seen such grandeur before, not even in Europe. They kowtowed to the Chinese emperors in their courts. But they had different dreams of conquering China to take over its luxuries and wealth.

They wanted everything China could offer but not by fair trade and competition. They schemed to grab everything by force and war, just like what the Americans are doing today. If you can't win, rob, steal, burn and kill. China must not be allowed to grow rich and prosperous and must be stopped by force. The savages of the past did just that, ganged up and defeated China by means of violence and wars, looted everything of value, destroyed those they could not take, and imposed heavy penalties that bankrupted dynastic China. A glorious empire and civilisation was turned into ashes, all the systems and instruments of government and statecraft were destroyed. 5,000 years of civilisation being banished by the white savages that stole the art of making fire crackers into making guns and cannons.

After defeating China, they divided China among themselves and followed by oppressing the Chinese population. They invented nasty narratives that Chinese were bad, stupid, clueless, no talent,  no character, only meant for manual works. The Chinese were like vermins and rodents, to be trampled upon, no rights, no respect, not to be seen. The richness of dynastic China was burnt down and destroyed forever. China was made a bankrupt country with a mountain of war indemnity to pay. The remnants of the Qing Dynasty in its dying days, were like the present America and Europe, lack of talented people to rule and manage the country wisely, continued to try to perpetuate their rule over an overtaxed people without a thriving economy, with unemployment everywhere, and all the ills of a collapsed dynasty. It was an endless and futile spiraled to the abyss. The Chinese diaspora began with poor Chinese immigrants risking lives and limbs pouring across oceans to eke a living, running away from a country in a mess and in ruins.

In all the white man's conquered or stolen lands, the poor Chinese immigrants ended up as coolies or manual workers in plantations, mines or building railway tracks and roads. The Chinese migrants fared better in non white men's land, through thrift and hard work, as they came from a dynastic China with thousands of years of civilisation. Many improved their lives engaging in handicraft and as traders. In white men's lands they were bullied, discriminated, exploited, robbed and killed frequently, worse than the plight of coloured people in present day America, and not allowed to participate freely in the economy other than those permitted by the white men. In the Americas, they were infamously remembered as cooks and laundrymen, two trades permitted by the white men other than manual labourers. The white men would not allow the Chinese migrants to work in skill jobs and professions, did not allow them the opportunity to live a better life than the white men, the same way the USA are trying to do to China today. China, like the migrant Chinese, must not be allowed to grow richer and stronger than the white men. The white men would not allow that to happen.

Constrained, condemned, oppressed and discriminated, finding respectable occupations as professionals or craftsmen was as good as impossible. So, the stereotyping of the Chinese as untalented people, good only as cooks and laundrymen, a far cry from the aristocrats and noblemen of dynastic China, became a forced reality by the white men. This dismissive and toxic narrative, and the negative pigeon holing of the Chinese people continued for more than 200 years in a world dominated and controlled by the white men. The hatred and despise of the Chinese became second nature to the white men. They looked down on the Chinese as a people with no talent, no skill, no character and unscrupulous, even evil and wicked like Fu Manchu, to be made fun of, to be bullied and kicked around, thinking that that was natural. The Chinese have no place and no rights to be in this world. The white men perpetuate this hate Chinese narrative in their homes, schools and societies till today. The western media is still smearing and demonishing China and the Chinese people with all kinds of fabricated lies when the white men were the main culprits in wars and troubles all over the world.

Today the message the white men are spreading is that Chinese are liars, cannot be trusted, thieves stealing technology, aggressive and assertive, expansionists wanting to conquer and rule the world, murderers of minorities, committing genocides, etc etc. These adjectives fit the white men like a glove. But they spread these lies everyday in their western media and probably paid or coerced their stooges to print them in their respective msm as well to demonise China and the Chinese. In a way they were quite successful for a while, as for every lie there would be some stupid and unthinking that would just believe what the white men want them to read and believe. But these disinformation could only last as long as they control the msm. China has made inroads into Africa, Latin America and the latest, Pacific Islands, all used to be the backyard of the Americans and white men. They are turning to China for economic and development aid.

This dismissive hate myth is contagious. Even natives of third world countries also believed in this white men's myth and hate for the Chinese as no talent and sub humans, to be despised and to be blamed for all the crimes of the white men, for stealing and robbing the wealth of their countries. The colonial masters were the good guys, did not steal or loot their countries. The fault or crime was committed by the poor Chinamen with many natives turning their anger on the Chinese in massacres and genocides of the Chinese in several third world countries. Some third world countries even think and believe they are superior to the Chinese, smarter than the Chinese. What China has become today killed this demeaning myth invented by the white men for good, forever. The Chinese are as good as the white men in every field of science and technology and more. The Chinese are talented people with the same rights and need to be respected, not unskilled and ignorant sub humans.

At the national level, China was isolated and kept out of the world trading system during the Cold War, sanctioned in many fields, blocked, like Cuba, North Korea etc etc, and thus remained as a poor third world country. China, like all the oppressed and isolated countries by the West, could only rely on themselves to be self resilient and self sufficient. The white men erected barriers to acquiring knowledge in science and technology on the Chinese people from China. The living standard and economies of Cuba, North Korea and now Venezuela are good examples of the fate of China and the Chinese people then. Until they were allowed to rejoin the international economy and trading systems, China's relations with the rest of the world were stonewalled and dictated by the West. The Americans and the West could make and break countries under their so called 'rule based' international system which was and is a mafia system  designed for their own benefits, and at their mercy and generosity.

Through a twist of fate, not because of kindness or charity of the Americans, China was allowed to join their mafia international trading system because they needed China to be on their side against the Soviet Union. When all the restrictions and sanctions were loosen, China took the opportunity to catch up with lost time and opportunities. China sent out their best talents to pick up everything they needed to learn, every new knowledge that was kept away from them for more than a century from western imposed isolation. Still many areas were and are not accessible to the Chinese in the name of national security. But China was determined and focused, in training many of the young Chinese in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, the hard sciences to remake and rebuild a new and modern China. When the shackles and barrriers were removed, when the roadblocks were lifted, there is no way to continue to keep the Chinese as cooks and laundrymen. This myth, though many silly white men still held closed to their chests, has crumbled when the Chinese keep improving themselves and beating the white men in fields of advanced science and technology. The real talents of the Chinese people blossomed under the clear sky, something that the West really believed was not there, that the Chinese would continue to be cheap labour and untalented people for centuries to come. 

The stereotyping and dismissive thinking of the West, that the Chinese were inferior to them, after two centuries of their make beliefs and systematic oppression and suppression, in a way distracted their attention, to forget to keep oppressing the Chinese and preventing them from acquiring skills and knowledge that they did not want the Chinese to have. Now the horror story facing the West is the pervasive growth of Chinese talents in fields the West thought the Chinese were incapable or unfit to acquire or participate. How could no talent Chinese, fit only to be cooks and laundrymen, with little talent, become top scientists, engineers, mathematicians, swimming like fish in the water in advanced science and leading edge technologies? This cannot be true, unbelieveable, but a reality that they deceived themselves and the world by their own lies and oppressive control over the Chinese, is now a nightmare that they deeply regretted. The white men have failed to cancel out the Chinese Civilisation.

Who were the fools or traitors to open up China, to allow the Chinese to acquire all the scientific and technical knowledge to outdo and out beat the Americans and the West freely? Who opened the gates to all the top American universities to the Chinese? Quick, quick, close the gates, do not allow the Chinese into top American universities anymore. Bar them from entering and those that are already in America, banish them back to China. A bit too late now.

Keeping the lid on the Chinese for two hundred years, make them stupid, look stupid, or ignorant by barriers to knowledge and skills, were very successful for as long as the measures continue to be enforced. Thank God that the Americans and West were numbed by their own fictitious belief that Chinese were really stupid and lack talent, to forget that the Chinese people were once the most civilised and advanced people on earth, and must be kept under a tight lid, and prevented from becoming their former glorious self, an advanced Civilisation with a few thousand years of history. With a slip of their mind, they allowed the lid to be slid open, and now there is no turning back the clock. Once the genie is out of the bottle, there is no way for the Americans and the West to keep thumbing down the Chinese, to keep them ignorant and unschooled, to prevent them from acquiring knowledge to be the best they could be, better than the Americans and the West. There is no way to cancel out the Chinese Civilisation by lies and oppression.

The Chinese people have gone past the phase of catching up with the West. They have learnt everything from the West and now on an uncharted path for newer and more advanced knowledge.  The Chinese Civilisation is now in the same stage as when the West in the renaissance era, after learning from the East and took off from there to be better than the East. The Chinese Civilisation is taking off into new frontiers that the West has yet to venture and discover, and would be the shining light of the future while the West is on the path to stagnation and decline.

The last invention of the Chinese Civilisation was gunpowder. The last invention of the West would be the mobile phone. The future will see 5G, 6G, AI, Space adventure and technology, application of Quantum Technology etc etc, created and invented by the Chinese...maybe cooks and laundrymen would be the preferred occupation of the westerners, not by oppression but by choice and circumstances. The new Chinese will dine in the finest restaurants run by white men and enjoy the white men's cooking skills. Oops, culinary skills.

The top universities in the future would be in China, measured by producing top students, professors, scientists in STEM, not measured by silly criteria like having more foreigners as lecturers and students, or having nice new buildings and facilities, or producing mountains of papers, not quality of the content in the papers.

Two hundred years of oppressing the Chinese Civilisation and sowing distrust and the toxic myth of untalented and inscrutable faceless Chinamen have ended, .... and a new chapter is being written, by the Chinese Civilisation.
