What does Blinky hope to achieve in China again? Trying
to coerce China to cut off trade with Russia is an exercise in futility.
And he is threatening China with sanctions, financial sanctions
undoubtedly. Russia and China's relations are non-negotiable. If China
relents, tomorrow the USA will demand that China cut off oil imports
from Iran, which is helping Iran's military. And the demands will go on
and on. China must put its foot down and tell Blinky that enough is
enough and stop visiting uninvited.
The USA knows that BRICS is
well on its way to setting up a new financial system to rival SWIFT and
wants to pressure China over that in mind. If BRICS gets its settlement
system working, that spells the end of USA's US$ hegemony and its
sanctioning monopoly.
BRICS had been talking about a new
currency backed by gold and commodities for a long time. China is piling
up gold like no tomorrow. BRICS countries are moving to set up a
'Grains Exchange' among themselves to move away from the pricing control
of the West on grains. This is also a move in the direction of
de-dollarization, where the currency involved in trade within their
'Grain Exchange' will certainly not be USS for sure. It will be a big
move with about half the world's grain coming from several BRICS
countries like Russia and Brazil.
Moreover, if the USA keeps
pressuring China and accusing China of helping Russia militarily, that
is going to backfire, if the Chinese gets sick and tired of the
accusation and really start to supply weapons to Russia openly. After
all, if China is being accused of doing that when it is not, what is the
point of not doing it, if the accusations keep on coming. Might as well
do it and shut the USA up for good. After all, China knows that
sanctions are coming no matter what, so what is the point of relenting.
Something big is coming out of BRICS and the USA is paranoid and desperate.

China will just go through the motion of being diplomatic but will not succumb to threats and demands by Blinky. China is already aware that financial sanctions will soon be coming up upon Blinky's return to Washington, and China has put various measures in place.
China is fast tracking its move into creating and uplifting domestic demand, with monetary incentives for citizens to buy local to help first and foremost the clean energy sector manufactured products. Incentives have been put forward to entice Chinese citizens to buy EVs and discard ICE vehicles. This move is more than helping domestic car makers. It is more a retaliation against moves by the USA, EU and Japan against Chinese EVs that will surely come. It is more a tit for tat move by China.
China already set in place moves to replace iPhones in Government entities and that has crippled Apple's sales in China drastically. Anyone dealing with the Chinese Government entities cannot do so with iPhones as that will not work. This can be said to be in retaliation for what is happening to TikTok.
China is now fairly confident of moving away from dependence on USA, South Korean and Japanese chip makers, and is pushing foreign made chips out of Chinese equipment, mobile phones and others. Within two to three years down the road, these chipmakers can just twiddle their thumbs in the Chinese market.
As a matter of interest, the South Korean military is also said to be getting rid of iPhones in its military establishments for national security reasons. There are apps in iPhones that cannot be disabled, which is posing a threat to security that the South Korean military is now aware of. Did the South Korean Government discovered backdoor spying on its military establishment using iPhones. Hmmm, interesting! This will be another big setback for Apple.
