Charlie Munger - when copying the worst of democracy

5 minutes of hard truth and wisdom from Charlie Munger on democracy as a defective system for economic development. He was asked if a democracy like India could grow like Singapore, another democracy?

The answers were a dose of hard truths that was a bit difficult to swallow for India.

QUOTE - Washington is used to controlling the planet’s top tech companies and doesn’t want anyone to threaten its surveillance domination - UNQUOTE

USA has been using its Patriot Act legislation to force tech companies like Google, Meta, Twitter, Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, etc. to:

1. Install covert data-siphoning app into all smartphones, whether Apple iOS or Android
2. Install covert data-siphoning app into all Microsoft Windows computers
3. Influence electronic circuit design of smartphones to leave power to GPS chip ON even after phone is powered down
4. Filter Google's e-mail and calendar data and run it through AI and pass results to FBI, CIA, and other agencies

The above are the reasons why the Americans wanted to take down TikTok.

Does that not the reason why China is phasing out all Windows based computers in the Government? With that, data siphoning apps becomes irrelevant. Coupled with widespread 5G usage, the USA is hapless in its intelligence gathering.

All USA tech companies are complicit with the USA Government in spying and information gathering. Everyone knows that, but they keep denying it and thinks people believe it. One word from the USA Government and all USA tech companies had to comply and banning Huawei access by forcing all tech companies to deny Android users vis a vis Huawei mobile phone users access to their apps.

Now, who is using tech companies to perform spying for the Government? Ask Angela Merkel or Macron.

By the way, it seems that the MSM is able to pick up so many secret information about Putin and reporting upon it. Putin must be so careless letting moles into his bedroom to sniff out all the secrets. How come Putin is unaware of all this after his years as an officer of the KGB? Boggles the mind. And oh, Putin was supposed to have died months ago. Just like China supposed to collapse in 2011.

And the Americans are so bad in keeping their secrets that all their secrets have been stolen by China, even high tech secrets that they did not have, have been stolen by China, like 5G, 6G, hyersonic missiles, TikTok, etc etc.

India prides itself as the biggest democracy in the world and the Indians love the adulation promoted by the West. But that is also the biggest hindrance to its progress. Everything the ruling Indian Government plans to do has to please the ground, and politicians have to cater their policies to please the grassroots, or will be voted out.

India is alo putting the cart before the horse, but not within the Government's control though, by relentlessly increasing its population without lifting people out of poverty first. India is caught in a bind, as it does not have the financial capacity to fight poverty on such a scale with little resources to do it. And the Indian Government can only resort to mandatory measures if it is to keep population growth at manageable levels. That is not possible to do with the ballot box ultimately dictating the direction it has to take.

But keeping India down is probably the sinister agenda of the West. They have seen the rise of China, and cannot afford to let India follow next. So, they keep harping on the merits of India being the biggest democracy that gets even bigger with a bigger population now expected to bypass China.

With CECA, Singapore will help India solve its unemployment problem. If not, India will sue Singapore.

Any country as smart as Singapore?

Pssst. Ma Ying Jiu made a very innocent visit to China to visit his grandfather's grave.

Think about it.

India having a humongous population of 1.4B projected to surpass China is a two edge sword.
Harness it well with painstaking effort like China and the economy will beat the West.
But failure to lift millions from poverty, failure to provide jobs, clean water, decent housing, reliable infrastructures, reliable public transportation, etc, etc can and will result in millions of frustrated and stressed folks in India. Not least, having the overhyped 'Biggest Democracy' can only make things worse with millions of disgruntled folks who see progress only for India's wealthy elites... in other words, those in bed with the ruling party.

India can always depend on Singapore to solve its unemployment problem.
