Rather than seeing the fiery disintegration of Musk's colossal, next-generation Starship system as a setback, experts said the dramatic loss of the rocket ship would help accelerate development of the vehicle.
Images of the Starship tumbling out of control some 20 miles up in the sky while mounted to its Super Heavy rocket booster before the combined vehicle blew to bits dominated media coverage of the highly anticipated launch....
But SpaceX executives including Musk - the founder, CEO and chief engineer of the California-based rocket company - hailed the test flight for achieving the major objective of getting the vehicle off the ground while providing a wealth of data that will advance Starship's development. CNA
Above is quoted from CNA. See the positive spin put into the failure of the takeoff? What would the American news be reporting if it was a Chinese rocket that blew up? I think if it was a NASA rocket, it would be reported as a huge success, yes, just to lift off the ground.
The question is why would Musk be reinventing the wheel when the Americans had already the most powerful rockets that could take them to the moon in the late 1960s? When don't Musk just buy the blue prints and walla, he will have success proven rockets that can fly to the moon without having to try something new that could fail? As a commercial enterprise, cost is very important.
The other options available for Musk is to talk to Kim Jung Un. Make it a business proposition and Kim would be happy to sell him some blue prints of the best rockets he has. The North Koreans are very good at building rockets that can fly, unlike the Japanese or the South Koreans...and now Musk.
Another option is to buy the blue prints from China. China also has many working rockets and for a price, could be for sale to a commercial enterprise like SpaceX, not to NASA of course. And NASA would not want to buy anything Chinese because NASA has their own working and proven to work rockets since 1969. NASA is going to space again but committing the same silly mistake of wanting to build new experimental rockets and not wanting to use their proven 1960s rockets. Why are they doing this, to spend public money, when they could do it cheaply and successfully with old rockets of the 1960s?
How many more super rockets is Musk going to blow up and claim more successes?
PS. Happy Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all Muslim friends.

Redbean, I think they already claimed that they lost the blueprints from the 1960s that took them to the moon, oops Hollywood Studios. Either that is a cover up to destroy fake evidence per se, no one can tell. But most people doubt there were such blueprints in existence. Maybe there were made in Hollywood 'Moon Landing Scripts' that were useful for later use in movies like 'Apollo 13' and 'Armageddon'. So it is now up to Elon Musk to invent the wheel.
Musk should take a leaf from Bill Gates, buying up companies with such technology to kill off the competition. There is North Korea, Russia and China that are ahead in sending up rockets successfully to be approached for help. Only thing is whether they will help someone who will use that technology to create weapons to hit them later on, a normal behavior of a snake biting its savior. China discovered gunpowder and suffered gunboat diplomacy instead. Lessons must be learnt.
The other problem is that Japan and South Korea have also not yet mastered the art of sending rockets into space, so that option is not available. Other wise Biden would create another 'Rocket Alliance' to move such technology to the USA for its own use. Iran is also another country that has succeeded in rocket launches so far, but Iran is not going to share its expertise with the USA for sure.
So, keep trying USA. Catching up is becoming a reality, not a fallacy.
The more they expose their space exploration stories, the more holes they are digging to bury their moon landing hoax in 1960. Why are they bringing up the radiation belts and the dangers posed by them when they have already overcome that as they claimed in 1960s? They already overcame the problem, right? Why are they still concerned about it?
Or was the motive to deter others from going to the moon thus exposing their fraud?
Selamat Hari Raya to Redbean and all readers.
They could be right. It was an explosive success. It is just a matter of interpretation.
South Korea said that it is going to shoot down North Korea's satellite if it falls into its airspace. That means an act of war.
Just because the USA said it will ensure South Korea does not suffer the consequences of the North's nuclear missiles with the USA's protection, South Korea is now behaving more and more like Japan, becoming more belligerent and warlike. As I said earlier, China has little fear of Japan and South Korea getting involved in the war in the Taiwan Straits, as North Korea knows how to deal with the two upstarts and is now fully capable of dealing with them. With Russia now openly warning South Korea that if South Korea starts sending weapons to Ukraine, Russia will also send lethal weapons to North Korea. Yoon needs all the diversions to take the problem away from the economy.
North Korea has a dam near the border with the South, and during any periodic release of water is already causing the South to evacuate and the South is telling the North to inform them of any water release from the dam. In times of conflict, Kim will tell Yoon to piss off and he will flood the South to create chaos and suffering without needing to fire a missile.
That leaves China and Russia to do all the heavy lifting against the USA, knowing Japan and South Korea will be busy protecting themselves against North Korea. It is a win win situation for Russia, China and North Korea.
Internet is still talking about the success of Starships explosive mission. It looks like not only was the spaceship destroyed, the whole launch pad had been completely destroyed as well. But everything has been positively spinned, nothing negative. They are already talking about going to Mars, but at the same time talking about needing to go to the moon first. What are they talking about?
Can't even fly above 20 miles off the Earth, still dares to talk about going to Mars?
It's a great shame to have lost the SpaceX Rocket iin this way.
What kind of technicians do they have?
How can even the launch pad been deatroyed?
