Fantasy or Rumour?? The coming Berlin-Moscow-Beijing Axis..

'Solid German business sources completely contradict the “message” delivered by the German Council on Foreign Relations on the trip to China.

According to these sources, the Scholz caravan went to Beijing to essentially lay down the preparatory steps for working out a peace deal with Russia, with China as privileged messenger.

This is – literally – as explosive, geopolitically and geoeconomically, as it gets. As I pointed out in one of my previous columns, Berlin and Moscow were keeping a secret communication back channel – via business interlocutors – right to the minute the usual suspects, in desperation, decided to blow up the Nord Streams.

Cue to the now notorious SMS from Liz Truss’s iPhone to Little Tony Blinken, one minute after the explosions: “It’s done.”

There’s more: the Scholz caravan may be trying to start a long and convoluted process of eventually replacing the US with China as a key ally. One should never forget that the top BRI trade/connectivity terminal in the EU is Germany (the Ruhr valley).

According to one of the sources, “if this effort is successful, then Germany, China and Russia can ally themselves together and drive the US out of Europe.”'

'Scholz himself, one day before his caravan hit Beijing, stressed to Chinese media that Germany has no intention of decoupling from China, and there’s nothing to justify “the calls by some to isolate China.”'

So could this all be the foundation stone of the Berlin-Moscow-Beijing trans-Eurasia geopolitical/geoeconomic corridor? That will mean Bye Bye Empire. Once again: it ain’t over till the fat lady goes Gotterdammerung.

More like a reality. Most of Europe are not happy with Olaf Scholz's visit to China. Even the two Coalition Parties in the ruling circle are against co-operating with China. That is not a simple problem.

And most of Europe are demonising Olaf Scholz for setting aside 200 billion Euros to help Germans and Industries cope with the high gas prices and inflation. The other EU countries are demanding that Germany should use that money to help out all of the Europeans in the EU. Now, that says a lot about the pretensions of solidarity and unity that they are trying very hard to show on the surface.

Amidst all the calls for unity and solidarity, can the EU survive? Olaf Scholz trip to China is throwing a second spanner in the works of the USA, with the USA having already crippled Europe by forcing them to follow it's dictate to sanction Russia over cheap energy. Instead of helping Europe with cheap energy after sanctioning Russia, the USA is pushing Europe under the bus, by selling to Europe very expensive LNG and even stealing their jobs. If the Europeans cannot see what is coming, they are really stupid to the core.

Now Biden's chip war against China is stuttering, with manufacturers in South Korea, Taiwan and Japan trying to find ways to produce chips and semi-conductors devoid of USA technology to bypass the ban on sales to China. Such manufacturers are terrified of losing the China market eventually, after realising that the Chip Alliance is forcing the Chinese to be self sufficient. When necessity is the mother of invention, do not discount the possibility of the Chinese overcoming all the odds to come out tops in a few years.

The Europeans could be enjoying peace and all the cheap oil and gas and preparing for a beautiful Christmas if they had remain neutral and not get involved in the war and sanctions against Russia and China.

They brought all these troubles and pain to themselves. They deserve to suffer the cold winter. And many are not regretting it and want to continue with this war and all the sanctions. Good for them.

Many countries are now queuing up to join BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation led by Beijing . .

Algeria has reportedly filed an official application to join the BRICS group of major emerging economies. News website Al-Shouruk said the announcement came from Leila Zerrouki, the Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for international partnerships, speaking on state radio.

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune recently said the country was interested in joining Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa in the BRICS group, explaining that the country largely meets the criteria for membership.

Later, Russian Ambassador to Algeria Valeryan Shuvaev indicated that Moscow had no objections to Algeria joining.

At this year’s BRICS summit, held online in June, the format was expanded to include 13 additional nations, including Algeria. President Tebboune was the first guest to speak, calling for “a new economic order where parity and equity between countries will reign.”

Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union have decided to negotiate a Free Trade Agreement while Tehran is also working out swap deals involving Russian oil. Simply put, Europeans can keep their SWIFT for whatever it is worth and that is not going to make any difference to Russia or Iran — and the rest of the world is watching this happening in real time, especially in Iran’s neighbourhood where oil is traded in dollars.

Germany could get itself out of it's economy doldrum.
However it shall have to face the Wraths of its' many neighbours.
Germany got to convince the Eutopean Nationd to go for peace snd not aligning to any power. All must know that pesce is the Only Way to the Well-being for all humanity.
Hegemony will only plunge the Wotld into trouble and destruction.

It is just commonsense.

Germany has broke the dam. Holland is the next European state to visit China, to sell lithograph machine to China against the American objection. They know that if they don't sell now, there will be no more chance as China is making break throughs in chip making machine.

France too is planning to go to Beijing. The fake European unity is gone. Everyone is for himself now. Biden is going to go bonkers.

German and European business leaders are not blind. It is radically obvious that the USA is unable to provide the calibre of talents needed to helm chip designing and provide innovation for manufacturing plants they are setting up fast and furious in Arizona.

This can be seen in the drastic measures they are making to force chip talents back to the USA by threatening them the loss of their USA citizenship if they persist in working in China. This is the kind of attitude they have to adopt to win the competition, but it will not be good for innovation. Pushing others down so that they can remain in a dominating position is their modus operandi, since they have succeeded in dealing with the Japanese and Germans in the past. It will not work against the Chinese.

Hope Chinese President Xi Jinping don't bother to hold talks with senile US President Biden this coming G20 summit in Bali.

After US' midterm elections to be held on Tuesday, the result is not difficult to predict. Joe Biden is set to become a lame duck president and his government will be restrained in dealing with foreign policy affairs.

Wang Yi already told Blinken, if there is nothing of substance to talk about, there is no need to waste Xi's time meeting Biden. China rejected the meeting requested by the Americans.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has called on the country’s military to make sure it’s ready to respond to security threats arising from a new era of global turbulence. The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) must train harder to be ready for a fight, he said.

The world is currently undergoing changes “unseen in a century,” which increase instability and uncertainty, as well as affecting national security, the Chinese president warned on Tuesday, as quoted by the national media.

The entire military “must implement the [Communist] Party’s idea of strengthening the army in the new era” by focusing its energy on improving its war-fighting skills and capabilities, Xi said. The PLA must “resolutely defend national sovereignty, security and development interests,” he added.

Like being invited to speak at wedding, telling the newly-wed couple to divorce!

Chinese authorities canceled an opening address by the European Council President that was supposed to be shown on the occasion of a major trade expo in Shanghai, Reuters reported on Tuesday citing sources. In his speech, Charles Michel was reportedly set to castigate Russia for the ongoing Ukraine conflict, as well as to call for a reduced EU dependency on China.

According to a number of diplomats interviewed by the news agency, the pre-recorded video featuring the top EU official was meant to be featured at the opening of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) on Friday.

Barend Leyts, a spokesman for Michel, confirmed to Reuters that the official’s team “had indeed provided a pre-recorded message which was ultimately not shown,” adding that this issue had been addressed “through the normal diplomatic channels.”

According to EU diplomats, in his speech Michel offered scathing criticism of what he called “Russia’s illegal war against Ukraine.” He was also set to draw parallels between Europe’s over-reliance on Russia for energy and Chinese trade, the report says.

“In Europe, we want balance in our trade relations... to avoid over-dependencies,” he apparently meant to say. “This is also true of our trade relations with China.”

Michel was also reportedly going to ask Beijing to convince Russia to stop hostilities in Ukraine. “China has a role in using its influence to stop Russia’s brutal war. You, China, can help put an end to this.”
