In fact most of Ukraine's manufacturing base is situated in the Eastern and Southern region of Ukraine, and many important agricultural exports like Wheat and sunflower seeds from Ukraine comes from this region. More than 50% of the world's neon gas comes from Ukraine, which also comes from this region, as a by product of the steel industry. If Russia controls all this, Taiwan is going to run into serious trouble with their semi conductor and chip making activities, as Taiwan is branded an unfriendly country by Russia.
That is why adopting the Minsk Agreement was never the intention of Ukraine and it's backers in the first place. It was just pulling wool over the eyes of the two breakaway republics and was never intended to be adopted by Ukraine and it's backers. They had all the while wanted to take over Donbass and Luhansk. That is why they thought joining NATO would increase their bargaining power.
And what the Ukrainians did since 2014 was committing genocide, using neo Nazis elements, to kill and cow the two breakaway republics into submission. Most of those living in the two areas are Russians and, since 2014, Putin had been gritting his teeth and watching them being harassed to no end. His patience obviously ran out finally. He had to step in to support the 'liberation' of Donbass and Luhansk, which the West calls 'invasion'. Anyway since 'surrender' has been called an 'evacuation' pardon me for using the word 'liberation'
Now that Russia controls most of those important Ukrainian economic zones, the die is cast for Ukraine. The Western and Northern regions of Ukraine will be turned into a basket case.
They are boasting about taking back Crimea in order to control the region, but with what?
Perhaps with the USA talking of sending warships into the Black Sea to prevent Russia controlling the Black Sea, and thereby holding on to Crimea, ostensibly is making Ukrainians feel emboldened into thinking that retaking Crimea is possible. That is the USA modus operandi of pouring oil over fire and expanding the conflict. That means direct confrontation between USA and Russia. Biden needs to save his mid term and he thinks this is going to make it happen.

A great country at one time, great manufacturing acumen, rich in resources, tops in food production and now reduced to Rubles, sorry rubbles.
Biden was right on reducing someone to rubbles, but not the Russian Rubles. Pardon his dementia.
I kept going back to watch that video where after delivering a speech, he turns around trying to shake hands with an invisible person, looks around lost and walks away in a trance. What in the world is happening to this guy?

Zelensky has houses in several countries. When and how did this comedian make so much money? He does not care whatever happens to Ukraine or to the Ukrainians. See how he keeps demanding for more military aids that he did not have to pay like taking orders from someone to do so.
Who would benefit most if America and Europe keep pouring aids to Ukraine? The idea is to finish all their weapon stocks and REPLENISH!
The saddest part is that these so called aid providers could send their obsolete stocks worth $2 but bill Ukraine $2b and no one is wiser. Can blame Russia for bombing the weapons to dust. Paper proof of sending, not necessarily received of goods, is good enough to send Ukraine the bill.
Zelensky was last reported to be worth US$1.3 billion. Today, I think he is worth much more. Maybe he has been making money selling those obsolete weapons to the neo Nazis for use later in USA and Europe after the war in Ukraine. He keeps asking for more when he knows they make little difference to his mission against the Russians.
Now they are steering clear of talking about the neo Nazi uniform worn by the shooter that killed 19 children and two teachers in a Texas Elementary School. They tried to spin it off as hate crime and deny it has nothing to do with neo Nazi resurfacing. After all, the USA has been sending weapons and money to Ukraine to support them and arming them. The chickens will be going home to roost.
This will also become a grave problem for Europe, as the Ukrainian authorities have been issuing military grade weapons freely to citizens to fight Russia. They have not thought this through carefully, as in most other decisions. But it is now too late to close the stable doors when all the horses have bolted. The cleaning up of those weapons after this will be an exercise in futility if those weapons are in the hands of the neo Nazis, whose real intention is more than fighting for Ukraine to say the least.
Now they are escalating the war. Ukraine mined their own port and now could not move their food produce out of the country. In other words they shot their own foot, trying to prevent the Russians from attacking by sea. The USA and the West is taking this opportunity to make hay, saying they can send warships to sweep the mines and escort the ships taking the foodstuff out of the port into the Black Sea, citing humanitarian reasons. I just wonder whether they are that human.
Russia knows that this is just a ploy to bring USA and Western warships into the Black Sea to counter the Russians on the pretext of a humanitarian mission. So Russia countered the arrangement and made the suggestion that they will allow those ships to pass, if some sanctions are lifted, and they have minesweepers as well to clear the mines and escort the ships out for 'humanitarian reasons' as well. There is no need for the USA and the West to converge their warships en masse in the Black Sea.
This is definitely not going well with the USA and the West. Some people watching this are hinting that the USA will surely fabricate narratives to argue that Russians are the bad guys and should not be trusted to do this kind of 'humanitarian mission'. The USA and the West had been waiting for such an opportunity to send warships into the Black Sea and Russia is not stupid to fall for the scam. In fact there is a report that the USA and the West is calling for a global coalition of countries sending warships into the Black Sea.
Now that is escalation going forward and driving this is the November USA midterm which Biden is hanging by a thread. Some desperate move is needed.
I think Putin has an agreement with Erdogan not to allow warships into the Black Sea.Turkey controls the straits into the Black Sea.
