WASHINGTON: It has been more than two months since Russia sent troops into Ukraine. Facing mounting losses and slow, limited gains, Russian President Vladimir Putin “doesn’t have a way out right now”, said United States President Joe Biden on Monday (May 9), adding that he was “trying to figure out what we do about that”.
The war is clearly not going the way Putin wanted. Russia’s air force has not dominated the skies, its ground advances have been stalled by strong Ukrainian resistance, and its sanctions-hit economy is expected to shrink by 10 per cent, the worst contraction in nearly three decades. CNA
The above from a Reuters report in CNA clearly spelt out the dreams of Biden, or his beliefs how the Ukraine war in progressing. To him the Americans are so successful and Putin is in big trouble. That is Biden's reality or belief. Did he really know what was Putin's objective and what is really happening on the ground?
One thing for sure, the Russian economy is chugging along fine. What or which economy will collapse in another 6 months would likely come from Europe, excluding Ukraine's economy that is already a basket case. A few of the European countries would be on their knees if this war continues for another 6 months and will be begging for mercy.
How the war is being fought is determined by Putin, not by Ukraine or the US. Putin chooses where he wants to hit, where he wants to put his forces, at will and Ukraine or the US could do nothing about it. The myth that Ukraine took back Kiev by pushing Putin's forces back to the east is laughable. Putin, after having achieved his objectives, have pulled back voluntarily to the east to secure the eastern regions and cities that would be under Russia's control for good plus the prize possession of the underground fortress with all the evidence of bioweapons, thousands of children used as test specimens and the number of American and NATO generals booking into his special hotel for such high class POWs.
This is history in the making for so many top western generals to be captured and to be put on trial in Moscow for war crimes. The most important objective of Putin's is the destruction of the NATO command centre and biochem weapon labs plus all the deadly biochemicals stored under the Azovstal steel plant. Putin did not go into this war to capture Kiev or the whole of Ukraine.
Putin to date has achieved what he set out, and capturing Kiev was never his goal, but a distraction. And yes, he has full control and dominance over the entire Ukrainian airspace. No NATO or Ukrainian aircraft could fly without being shot down. So what is Biden talking about? Did Biden really know what he is saying or dreaming?
This senile old man is just reading from the script without knowing what it was all about. The following months would be gala extravaganza in Moscow with all the American and NATO generals and top scientists paraded in front of the world media to confess their crimes against humanity, how they captured thousands of children for deadly infectious experiments using biochemical weapons.
Putin now would have all the evidence and confession to put the final nails on the coffin of the evil American Empire. Get your pop corns and beer ready for the show and be ready to pop champagne as well when the final curtain falls.
PS. The Americans are reopening their embassy in Kiev, knowing very well that Russia would not attack it anymore. This confirms what Putin's objective was from the beginning of this war, the prize catch in the Mariupol underground fortress and its destruction.

Hunter Biden is definitely one of them. Who knows some may be billionaires that were deeply involved in the spread of Covid and manufacturing of fake vaccines would also be caught. Moderna, Pfizer, not sure about AstraZeneca were also reported to be involved in the underground biochem weapons labs in Mariupol. Some of their top scientists and top execs could be in Putin's hands now.

The world knows groups of those fighters in the Azovstal Steel Plant had 'surrendered', clear and unambiguous. The other side tried to save face and spin it as an 'evacuation'. There is a world of difference in the two words.
Sources are even arguing that those fighters that surrendered were doing it in desperation and not taking orders from the very top. And many other groups are also said to have surrendered on their own initiative. How could they continue the standoff without food, medicine and ammunition? How could they be expected to fight in that condition? They knew reinforcements will never arrive and hanging on means certain death. Last drop of blood is all rhetoric at best.
Putin had all this planned to liberate Donbas and Luhansk. He was giving the impression initially that he wants to attack Kiev with troops massed for a siege, but that never materialised. His plan was to isolate the Ukrainian troops in Eastern Ukraine fighting with the two breakaway Republics, and prevent those troops massed to protect Kiev from reinforcing the troops in the East. Even food and supplies could not break the encirclement and reach the Eastern front. It worked extremely well. Now that the Russian land bridge in Eastern Ukraine has been established and secured, Putin withdrew his troops surrounding Kiev and this was given the spin as that of a Russian withdrawal and a victory for the Ukrainians. Nothing is further from the truth. Russia now has control of the important Sea of Azov, cutting off Ukraine's access to it.
That is also the same reality with the economy of the Europeans. Six more months of standoff in the oil and gas crisis and they will collapse. The reality now is that they are still getting Russian oil and gas by paying for them in Rubles eventually, whatever they tried to twist and spin around.
Moreover, some European countries have now been cut off completely from Russian oil and gas and are buying on the sly from those still getting their rations from Russia. Some European countries are just functioning on emergency stockpiles, which will be depleted eventually. Winter is coming shortly and the real crunch will be seen.
With more sanctions being talked about, Putin may retaliate and put a brake on more European countries to put his stranglehold to better effect. It is not just oil and gas, but commodities and essential minerals and fertilisers for agriculture that will also be affected. The effect is going to be far reaching.
Yes, let us see who will collapse first. An economy based less on manufacturing but dependent largely on resources and agricultural products like food, will survive better than one based largely on manufacturing like Germany, France and much of the European countries. Most importantly they still need cheap Russian energy to compete successfully. Buying oil and gas from anywhere else will not solve the problem going forward, even if it becomes feasible .Moreover, it will take years to come to fruition to put the logistics into place and the Europeans do not have that luxury of time.
All in all, they said that the USA and the West lifted a big stone to crush Russia, but it landed on their own feet.
Winter is coming in 6 months time. Putin could shut off the oil and gas and whatever comes November.

By not naming the big crocodiles, Putin is holding back from embarrassing the Americans. The Americans would have to be very careful not to spout nonsense as whatever they said or do would attract a response from Putin.
