Hsien Loong accepts MND’s review on AIM
SINGAPORE - A National Development Ministry (MND) team that reviewed the controversial sale of software by People's Action Party (PAP) town councils to Action Information Management (AIM), a PAP-owned company, has found that the transaction in 2010 had complied with the Town Councils Act and the Town Council Financial Rules….
The above is the latest news on the AIM saga reported by Channel News Asia. It is all clear and the saga was just a saga and nothing to it. Everything is in order, in compliance with the Town Councils Act and the Town Council Financial Rules. For those who smelt a rat and hoping for the worst, sorry, nothing of that sort. There were no lapses or wrong doings. Case closed. The squeaky clean image of our system is intact.
I have not read the detailed reports, all 37 pages with recommendations on what needs to be improved to avoid negative perceptions from the public.

What a bloody waste of time. As with all other reviews and investigations. Waste of people's money.
Count to 10. Relax.
Have fun reading this cartoon.

Well, we have wayangs in Parliament and we also have wayangs outside Parliament.
You cannot say wayangs portray the truth. It is all fantasy and make believe perpetuated as the truth.
And they will continue acting happily ever after.
The end.
Yup, everything is legal. It may not be moral or ethical, but it's legal. It's legal ok?
Never had a doubt.
Asking a papaya to rate a papaya and the papaya will no doubt side the papaya and give high score. This kind of investigation is rubbish.

This dimwit is not capable of doing anything except to be controlled by his 'ministers'. He has totally disgraced himself, his people, his family and his father who put him there by hiding behind a big fat lie called 'meritocracy'. Go and sweep the floor to understand how to be a true prime minister. It is not all about listening to your ministers and do what they told you to do. Grow up please for God sake.
My wife is a very very good fund, fun, funny manager. I agree with her.
Well, what has the WP has to say about this....sh sh....dont rock the boat..
The terms of referrence should be set during parlimentay meeting if the case of Is of public interest and not by any individual or commitee. What do you think?
Seah Chiang Nee's Saturday column
[The dilemma in cyberspace]
"THE Singapore govt has taken a number of tough measures against online critics considered to have crossed sensitive lines.
In 2006, the PM said:
“I want to involve Singaporeans more in building our country,
to create more room for you to express yourself and try out your own ideas.
They are all making a better Singapore.”
It is a sentiment that Lee – just as predecessor Goh Chok Tong – has generally pursued
but on a 3-step forward 2-step backward manner."

You can't wrap fire with paper. This review paper is going to do more damages than good.
I hope you people don't mind that I did not put on a sensible and long post on this issue. I am not reading the 37 page report as well.
The Prime Minister is expected to accept the Report when he appointed MND to look into AIMGATE.
The Question that was been asked since MND was assigned to the Task was why not appoint a body independent of the Housing Department.
There was suspicion and doubt which are not expected to clear or rather will remain, irrespective of the report.
The elephant in the room that the review missed - why is a $2 company considered qualified to tender for a multi-million dollar project?
I will not stoop so low as to read the bloody report. The ruling party has clearly lost its sense of right & wrong and worse, using State resources to justify its actions. Lhl, kbw can talk all they want, they will not change my mind come 2016.
WE DESERVE BETTER!
