More Blessings For Singapore! SNEC Blunder Or Error?

Yes, Singapore is so blessed that even an employee at the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) has been blunderingly, carelessly and complacently injected with FIVE doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine instead of only one.

SNEC revealed the incident only 3 days ago, when the serious blunder had taken place on 14 January during a Vaccination Experiment, using its staff as guinea-pigs "voluntarily".

SNEC has said that it was due to “human error” resulting from a lapse in communication among the Vaccination Team at the time. In other words, either no standard operating procedures were established or they were not strictly followed.

The use of the word "error" is an understatement. It obviously looks like a big serious blunder that should never have happened, and that could have caused long-term serious injury or even a slow death a few years down the road. Nobody really knows at this stage.

“The error was discovered within minutes of the vaccination when the staff was resting in a designated area after vaccination,” SNEC press release revealed.

“Senior doctors were alerted immediately and the staff was assessed and found to be well, with no adverse reaction or side effects.” The poor staff is so lucky and SNEC is so blessed.

The SNEC added that it has been following up closely with the staff member, who remains well. For now! We won't know the long term effects until time has past. Until it's too late to take any preventive action.

Although the incident took place earlier in January, news of it only broke out three days ago. Why took so long to release a press statement to inform the public?

Could it be a case of trying to cover up, initially?

And simply declared it as a "human error" will suffice?

No one takes responsibility for such a serious blunder?

No heads rolled?

No board of inquiry?

Are high risk activities essential to character building?

I have been bombarded with this very serious question, high risk activities essential to character building. I am not talented to answer that. First thing that came to mind is that weak, specky, bookworm nerds, with very little physical exercises and activities, physically unfit, should not be made to perform monkey tricks that required physical muscles and strength.  Just like climbing Mount Everest, the climbers need many months of gruelling physical training before making the assault on the mountain.

But I do know of one high risk activities that are worth attempting. Cheating. Cheating in exams, buying paper degrees, cheap and good, printed in good quality paper, and present them to get a good paying jobs. And know how silly the people doing the vettings are, or how lazy they are to do due diligence, the chances of getting through and landing a good paying jobs is very high.

Why risk limbs and lives trying to be better than monkeys with monkey skills that are worth nothing. What character building when one eventually lost out to the cheats with fake degrees and probably become delivery boys or security guards, or if parents got money, become Grab drivers.  These jobs do not need character building. What is character building worth if a degree is just a piece of paper, cannot be eaten?

What do you think? Waste more money learning to become monkeys, performing monkey tricks? The street smarts would not waste time or a dime on such useless skills. They would be buying their degrees and honing their skills to get through that interview or bribing their way to a good job, through their connections. No need character building, no need monkey tricks.

PS.  Maybe they are preparing them to be soldiers, or commandos....or to clean high rise buildings.  People that took unnecessary risks that they did not have to, speak a lot about their characters.

Singapore Is A Blessed Country

Singapore is so blessed! Not joking. Why?

1. Don't have to fear the Lawless States of America using the CIA to bribe the leaders into becoming stooges of the Evil Empire or initiate a regime change.

2. Don't have to fear China and the Chinese people meddle in the country's internal affairs or take over the country.

3. Don't have to worry about the military launching a military coup to topple the government like in Indonesia, Myanmar and Thailand. The military is already running the country for the past 17 years!

4. Also don't have to worry about having insufficient talents amongst the local population. All she has to do is to sign an agreement with India to import more and more degree-mills produced quickie talents (ability to get 7 certificates in six days without having to study and sit for exams - someone sits on their behalf) from India, the country that is so blessed with countless talented rapists, and corrupted police that helped covered up the rapists and their crimes, and with incomparable tongue-twisting smooth talkers.

5. Also don't need to worry that there is not enough Covid-19 infected people in the country. All she has to do is to open her legs wide-wide and invite the CECA Foreigners from India to bring in more and more of their Covid-19 infected fathers, mothers, in-laws, children and workers into Singapore to take away the jobs and occupy the houses of the local Singaporeans.

6. And if necessary, there is really no need to worry about the non-Chinese not becoming Prime Minister because the non-Chinese are already holding the highest office in the land, ie. the Presidency. On top of that, the non-Chinese are holding key and crucial ministerial posts, such as the Home Affairs Minister, the Foreign Affairs Minister, the Law Minister, as well as the Chief Justice, Treasury Chief, and the national bank DBS Chief, and the President of the Law Society.

7. Over and above that, Singapore can also easily import foreigners to become Ministers and to fill other crucial top positions in both the public and private sectors, without the need to do much searching, soul searching.

8. Also Singapore can sell away her strategic national assets such as the power stations and still not worry a single bit because she can buy power from Malaysia, just like buying water from Malaysia too. And don't need to worry about being held ransom by the nice and friendly Malaysia government.

See? How blessed Singapore is?

South China Sea - Who is aggressive/expansionist, who bullies who? A historical perspective

 The 'friendly' Americans just announced that they are creating a First Fleet to patrol and control the South China Sea and the Indian Ocean. If you are thinking that they are aggressive and expansionist, you are wrong. The Asean states or American cronies would also say you are wrong.  The Americans are here to protect them. 

It is the Chinese that are aggressive and expansionist to claim the islands in the South China Sea. What about the Americans and Canadians claiming the continent of North America. the white Australians claiming the continent of Australia, the white New Zealanders claiming the two islands of New Zealand? Not expansionists, they have the rights to claim these continents and big islands, because the white Gods said so. That is white men's law, supernatural law, cannot be questioned. Is that what you are thinking?

What about the Asean states claiming the South China Sea islands, are they also aggressive and expansionists? 

Let's take a historical perspective of the claims of the South China Sea islands, who claimed first and who has more rights to these islands. For ease of understanding, let's divide the time frame into 4 periods, firstly before Colonialism, Colonialism, post Colonialism and post 1982, UNCLOS, United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea.

Pre Colonialism

Before the European colonialists invaded and colonised South East Asia, China was already an established state, an Empire ruled by various dynasties. Ownership of land, islands during this era were usually decided by conquest and occupation. What was the status of the land in the SE Asia region? Were they owned by nation states or kingdoms? Nation states they were not, a few kingdoms existed and many were undefined islands populated by tribes. There was no Indonesia as a country, or the Philippines or Malaysia or Malaya to talk about.

The islands in the South China Sea, including those in the East China Sea like the Ryukyu chains and Diaoyu Islands were visited and discovered by the Chinese dynasties and marked as part of the Chinese empires. All the islands were clearly marked and recorded especially during the Ming Dynasty in the 16th/17 Centuries. There cannot be any dispute and the non countries of SE Asia were in no position to claim these islands as theirs, and in most cases they did not even know that these islands existed.

Colonialism in SE Asia

Then came Colonialism when the European powers invaded and seized the land and islands in SE Asia as their colonies. They regarded the natives as sub humans, no right to their land. Practically all the present nation states of SE Asia were seized by the European empires. So the natives could not be making claims on South China Sea islands and ownership of these islands. In reality, these islands still belonged to the Chinese Empire, the Qing Dynasty, as the European powers did not claim them.

In 1929, China drew up the map to include the islands in the South China Sea defined by the 9 dash lines.  There was the claim of ownership on the principle of nullus soli, no man's land. This is different from the colonialists that came and claimed lands and islands even if they were occupied, like the British claiming to have found Singapore, Penang, Malaya etc etc disregarding the presence of natives. So too were Columbus claiming America ignoring the ownership by native Americans.

Post WW2

During the wars, in 1895, Japanese seized the Ryukyu Island chain and Diaoyu Islands and Taiwan as war booty from China. Japan also occupied many of the islands in the South China Sea during their invasion of Asia and SE Asia. After WW2, then Japan was to return all the islands seized from China, islands in the East China Sea and South China Sea. For political reasons and administrative convenience, the Americans retained administrative control of the Ryukyu Islands and Diaoyu Islands. The rest, including Taiwan and South China Sea Island were returned to China.

The nation states of SE Asia came into existence when given independence from the colonial powers. But the islands in the South China Sea were not an issue, and they did not claim them as theirs. they had too big a plate to handle and were busily setting up their own govts.

1982 UNCLOS

The claims of Asean states on the South China Sea islands were mainly based on the provisions of UNCLOS. But when China signed the agreement, there was an exclusion clause that excluded claims on territorial rights and integrity, ie, no change in ownership of islands.

So, how much weight is there for Asean states to claim islands that were long claimed by China? Even in 1929 when the 9 dash lines were drawn, the Asean states did not exist, they were colonies of European Empires. China had claimed these islands many centuries back. Is China the aggressive and expansionist country that is claiming islands belonging to Asean states, or Asean states are the aggressive and expansionist states claiming Chinese islands as theirs under a new UNCLOS law?

The evil and treacherous Americans and western countries kept mum about the return of these islands to China in the post war agreement in Potsdam in 1945 and Paris Agreement in 1948, and encouraging the Asean states to make claims against Chinese islands and accusing China of being aggressive, expansionist and bullying Asean states when it is the Asean states that are trying to bully China in their spurious claims based on a new law that exclude claims on territorial rights.

Who is the devil, who is aggressive and expansionist? Who is or are the bully/bullies?

Modern aggression

In the colonial days, it was the strong that bullied and took the land from the weak. It was natural for the strong to be aggressive. Today it is the reverse. The weak bullying the strong and seizing land from the strong. China only started to reclaim the islands in the South China Sea in 1988. In the 1970s, Vietnam, the Philippines and Malaysia have already started to claim the South China Sea islands and reclaiming and filling up the islands. These weaker states have no regards to the bigger country China, and claimed Chinese islands as theirs, with UNCLOS and the Americans egging them on.

Many Chinese fishing vessels were arrested especially by the Philippines and demanded ransoms for the release of fishermen and their boats. They even attacked Chinese fishing boats, sank them to the bottom of the sea. Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines even wanted to attack Chinese Coast Guards and Chinese Navy ships.

China had to be very patient with these very aggressive small states challenging her rights and seizing her fishing boats and islands.  This kind of madness has to be stopped and finally China lost her patience and put the little aggressive states in their proper place, or face being spanked. Some order has returned to the South China Sea, with the proper pecking order now in place, except for the trouble making Americans. Australia is now feeling the pain in the ass, grimacing but pretending it doesn't hurt.

Still China is smeared by the West as the aggressor, and the small aggressive states as the poor and innocent victims. If it were the evil American Empire instead of China, none of these little states would dare even to move an inch or open their big mouths.

Containing China is mission impossible

Any attempt to contain China is “mission impossible”, the country’s defence ministry warned the US on Thursday, as the Biden administration works to shore up its Asian alliances against Beijing.

Military tensions between the two superpowers worsened under former US President Donald Trump, who adopted an aggressive stance on regional flashpoints such as Taiwan and the South China Sea. AFP

The evil rogue American Empire is at it again, trying to control and contain the rise of China. This evil Empire has been in this game since it became the number one super power after WW2.  It went about building military alliances to contain the growth of the USSR and communist countries with NATO, CENTO and SEATO, to encircle the USSR, China, Vietnam and North Korea. It was successful in bringing down and breaking up the Soviet Union in 1991.

This evil Empire does not believe in peaceful co existence. Countries are either with them or against them. And to be with them, countries must accept the Empire and adopt its form of fake democracy and fake human rights that it did not practise in homeland USA. Historically and factually, the USA is the biggest violator of human rights and the practitioner of fake democracy. Just ask what happened to the native Americans and the blacks and coloured people in the USA, even today with the whites killing the blacks freely as if it is a right.

Many countries are forced into abject poverty by the sanctions and containment of the evil American Empire, not allowed to participate in international trade, forced into isolation, and this evil country could claim that these victimised countries chose to isolate themselves from the international community.

Countries like North Korea, Cuba, Iran, now Venezuela and several Latin American countries and Asian and African countries are still locked out of the international trading system by this evil Empire.

Why can't this evil Empire just let other countries to live the way they want, choose their own leaders and political and economic system? Did not this evil Empire talk about freedom of choice, freedom to elect their leaders in what they called democracy?

Why can't this evil Empire just spend its money and resources to build a better country, a better system and a better life for its people and those they chose to adopt its way of life and political system and let others choose their own if different from the evil Empire? Would it not be better to do their best in creating a better system for the rest of the world to admire and to choose instead of sending their warships and soldiers everywhere to fight wars of oppression and kill innocent people and destroy countries that did not want to follow the rogue American way?

The evil Empire has been conducting wars of oppression and destruction since the end of WW2 till now and not stopping. And it claims to be a free country, a protector of democracy and freedom of choice and human rights when it is doing everything against these ideals?

What is wrong with China choosing its own economic and political system? China is not forcing any country to be like China and not imposing its system on the rest of the world. China is actually practising freedom of choice, respecting the rights of countries to be free and to choose their own political and economic system unlike the hypocritical evil American Empire that do not allow others the freedom to choose.

Stop the white lies and let the rest of the world be free to be what they want, to choose how to run their countries and manage their economies. Stop the wars, stop the oppression, sanctions, isolation of countries that do not want the evil American ways.

China is showing the rest of the world that there are alternative ways, alternative path to economic prosperity for its people.  China's rise is not through wars or conquest or killings like what the western powers did, like what this evil American Empire is doing, wars, wars and killing and more killings. The Americans would destabilise countries to keep them in trouble, dysfunctional and poor.

The Chinese way is a better way, but China is not forcing anyone to choose. It is the evil American Empire that is forcing every country to choose. And those that chose not to go the American way would be crushed. This is how pretentious, how hypocritical and how deceitful the Americans are. Free world, free to choose? My foot!

The evil American way is the way to destruction like what they forced upon the Middle Eastern countries, and the poverty they imposed on those countries they sanctioned and locked out from the international community and world trade. The American way is about oppressing and suppressing others from becoming better. Instead of competing to become better, it seeks to destroy others to preserve its dominance over others. They are the warmongers, the trouble makers of the world.

Countries of the world can choose to follow the evil Americans into more wars and more death and destruction, or to follow China to grow their economies for the betterment of their people.

PS.  Look at how the evil Empire is containing the export of vaccines to the rest of the world that it preaches to protect... It is all about their own interest, America First, Covid19 vaccines only for the Americans, not for the rest of the world. Are the dummies listening?

The war to get vaccines for their own people is getting hot with Europe being left out, with the bulk of the vaccines going to Americans and Brits. The European countries are getting very angry and impatient and have turned to Russian and Chinese vaccines. Any vaccines that work is ok, now that their chances of getting the American and British vaccines is slipping away.
