Believe it or not, Hsien Loong's visit to the USA and sitting side by side with the President of the most powerful state in the world, like abang adek, speaks volume of the power of Singapore. No other national leaders could be seen in such a position, other than Zelensky with Donald Trump in the White House. And this is not all, Hsien Loong met almost every American leader of importance, from Nancy Pelosi, Lloyd Austin and Kamala Harris and many others. Every American leaders found time to meet him. This time he was so well received that in many ways he had outdone his father. It would be nice if he also had dinner with Donald Trump, the incoming President. The Istana could look forward to many busy years when American leaders would come back again to seek counsel and wisdom like LKY's time.
Before the visit, Singapore is already recognised as the most powerful state in SE Asia. Now with so many strategic agreements signed with the USA, it is like Singapore is now sitting on the shoulder of the Americans, or like the Chinese say, tiger with added wings. Who still dares to mess around with Singapore? Even the Russians also got tekan by Singapore, sanctioned, funds and assets frozen etc etc like what the Americans are doing. Singapore really sees Russia no up, lecturing Russia on grounds of principles, that no big bully state should invade small states. Like real.
Who in Asean would dare to do such things to the Russians, the country that has more nuclear warheads than the Americans, the most nuclear warheads in the world? Some Asean states had, in one time or another, threatened to go to war with China, but never did anyone dare to do the same to Russia. Singapore did not threaten with empty talks. Singapore 'just do it'. This is really a show of strength, punching above its weight, not just say, say only.
Looks like the only Asian power that can give Singapore a little fight is China. Singaporeans can be proud of being Singaporeans, being citizens of such a powerful nation state. And according to an official survey, most Singaporeans support the govt's tough and principled stand against Russia. With all Singaporeans united behind the govt and its wise leadership, Singapore is fearless. Respect.
Now which country dares to say no respect to Singapore? I would bet no Asean state would dare to take such a stand against Russia. They might try with China, but not Russia. Only Singapore can.

You don't know meh? Man for man, and on per capita basis, SAF is the strongest armed forces in SE Asia.
That's why for 50 years both Malaysia & Indonesia don't dare to even fly a jet or sail a boat anywhere near Singapore.

Two Chinese mRNA Covid-19 vaccines move towards clinical trials
A Chinese company said it has received approval to start clinical trials of a Covid-19 vaccine based on mRNA technology, while local media reported that another domestic company has applied to start a similar trial.
CSPC Pharmaceutical Group has been approved by China's medical product regulator to begin a trial of an Covid-19 vaccine named "SYS6006", it said in a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange.
The company said pre-clinical studies demonstrated the vaccine can help neutralise against the Omicron variant of coronavirus. It does not need to be stored at below-freezing temperatures, the company said.
China has inoculated the majority of its population using domestically made coronavirus vaccines based on older inactivated virus technology, but the authorities have not approved any based on mRNA outside the cities of Hong Kong and Macau.
China is battling its worst coronavirus outbreak since early 2020 as the more infectious Omicron variant spreads in large cities including Shanghai.
Separately, Shanghai-based Stemirna Therapeutics has applied to Chinese regulators to conduct a clinical trial of its mRNA Covid-19 vaccine, state-media reported.
The company has built production facilities capable of producing 400 million doses a year, the Cailian financial news service reported.
A Chinese mRNA vaccine developed by Walvax Biotechnology, Suzhou Abogen Biosciences and the Chinese military has already entered clinical trials.
But that vaccine may fall short of the benefits generated by shots from Pfizer, BioNTech and Moderna, a study published in January showed.
China National Pharmaceutical Group, better known as Sinopharm, said on Sunday (April 3) that its second-generation recombinant protein Covid-19 vaccine has received approval from Beijing for clinical trials.
The improved vaccine has already been approved by the United Arab Emirates as a booster shot and enhances immune response to the coronavirus, the company said in December.
Like to add that no matter how powerful a person and or nation, none will stay in power perpetually. Nature grows, evolves only to one invariable result and that is death and decay. No escape for any being and anything.
China will develop mRNA vaccines as a commercial international product to compete with the Americans in the world market since there is a demand for it. No matter how the Americans would try to slander it as less effective than the already proven ineffective Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, China would be able to sell them at a big discount to take away the monopoly of the Americans.
This would provide a cheaper alternative for the poorer nations that in one way or another have been forced to use only mRNA vaccines. This is a win win situation for all except the American pharmas that are now reaping obscene profits with unacceptable conditions tied to the sales.
The hype that China is having a surge in infection is an attempt to discredit Chinese vaccines, a disinformation. What is 10,000 cases in a country the size of China with 1.4b people compare to the hundreds of thousands of cases in smaller populations using mRNA vaccines? Which vaccine is more effective, the numbers are telling.
But the stupid and unthinking will insist that a vaccine that is causing 200,000 cases in small countries like South Korea and European countries, and 800,000 cases in the USA, is more effective than Chinese vaccines with 10,000 cases against a 1.4b population can only be a silly conclusion, or a outright lie.

What is the point of been Militarized country when half of population are foreigners ? So, how many still believe in the lie that mRNA vaccines are more effective and must go on boosting and boosting, and exposing themselves to potential very serious harm?
Malaysia & Indonesia won't even dare to fire missiles or rockets at Singapore from afar. They know that Singapore will hit back much harder.
