High concentration of same nationality in financial and professional institutions in Singapore

Ministry of Manpower announced last year that 47 companies with suspected discriminatory hiring practices have been placed on its Fair Consideration Framework (FCF) watchlist.

Of the 47 companies, 30 (64 per cent) are in the financial and professional services sectors. They include banks, fund management firms, management consulting companies, as well as firms that provide project management and engineering services.

MOM said that all 30 of the financial and professional services employers have a “high concentration of PMETs from single nationalities”.

In one financial institution in the fund management industry, almost three-quarters of their PMETs are of the same nationality and in another bank, almost two-thirds of the PMETs are also of the same nationality, MOM revealed.
The Ministry, however, did not name the nationality in this financial institution. Correspondent.

MOM Minister talked about this like a matter of fact, as if it has nothing to do with the MOM. Who allowed these shitty things to happen? Did the MOM know about this before it happened? Could the MOM prevented these nasty things to happen? Who should take the blame and be kicked in the ass?

These things did not happen overnight. It built up over the years and no one knows what was happening or knew but let it happened, or did not care, non issue, or something that they have planned and allowed to happen? It happened naturally, could not be helped. Let's move on.

This is like letting a fire burns and then tell everyone the fire is burning as a matter of fact.

Telling bedtime stories to little children with no concern, no consequences, just a story?

Really beh ta han reading what had happened and nothing done about it and nothing going to be done about it. It is like... this the case, so what? What do you expect us to do or want us to do? This is it and Singaporeans just have to accept it. It is not MOM's fault at all, nobody's fault. Next please.

KNN. What do you think?

It took them 2 decades to acknowledge this shit, after thousands of PMETs lost their jobs and income, can you believe it?

And they are still shitting on it like nothing can be done about it.

This present government has been sleeping all the while in the last 15 to 20 years. Taking it so easy. No responsibility. No consequences. Blunders keep happening, so what? Who can touch us? We just go to Parliament and say "I do not accept the criticisms, the accusations. Just go to Parliament and say I never abuse my power. I am clear. I clear myself

KNN. WTF!

US General Mark Milley described the Taliban as a "ruthless group" and says it is unclear whether they will change.

What we all know is that the US Generals are even more ruthless and murderous than the Taliban. At least the Taliban's ruthlessness is applied to their own traitors. The US's murderous actions have been applied and are still applying to other countries innocent, defenseless and helpless women and children. And we also know for sure, very clearly, that it will not change.

A-Non-Yes-Mouse said...

Likewise, the ruthlessness of the MOM and PAP will not change, unless the voters changed.

How could they allowed this to happen for so many years? Sleeping, don't care, tidak apa?

Or they encouraged it? Stupidly thinking it is good for Singaporeans like the craps, foreigners create jobs for Singaporeans, not stealing Singaporeans' lunch? Singaporeans have no talents, foreigners have talents?

Do they still believe in these shits?

This is the right thing to do for PSP. Make this a key campaign issue in the next GE.

Unlike in Sinkieland, China under the leadership of President Xi. He is leading China into the era of 共同富裕 or Get Wealthy Together. China's way of uplifting poverty amongst the common comrades r much admired now by others to emulate now. The rise of Dragon is eminent and the world will hv to learn from this Mighty Dragon, gone r the days of sick men of East Asia.

Beh Ta Han can only be remedied at the ballot box. Just doing nothing about your vote will never get their attention. That was the only way, it is the only way, and it will always be the only way.

Another Example Of Mini-stars Sleeping On Their Jobs And Responsibilities?

Former LTA director jailed 5.5 years for taking S$1.24 million in bribes, cheating colleagues of S$726,000
Land Transport Authority/YouTube

SINGAPORE — A former senior public servant, who eventually rose to become a deputy group director in the Land Transport Authority (LTA), was sentenced to five-and-a-half years’ jail on Thursday (Sept 2) for a string of corruption offences.

His immediate superiors and the Mini-star for Transport must be sleeping over all those years.

Too much pay breeds more corruptions?

Amazing that this country has never been known as a financial centre but can suddenly produce so many "professionals" in finance. Singapore, along with NYC, London, Shanghai, Switzerland, HK, Japan are the recognized financial centres for the longest time

Why committing thefts can get cane, while a higher crime such as corruption does not warrant mandatory canning?

Corruption is planned in advance, definitely pre-meditated, while thefts may be at the spur of the moment, most of the time.

Amazing that this country has never been known as a financial centre but can suddenly produce so many "professionals" in finance.

More amazing is that the stupid idiots in this island believed they are the talents and put all the money into their hands to let them manage, let them manage the banks etc etc.

After creating the lie that Singapore has no talents and foreigners are all talents, the stupid started to believe in their own lie and start to tell PMETs to be retrained as cleaning supervisors, grab drivers and food delivery men.

And the cheats and fakes also start to tell the Singporeans that they are useless, no skills, no experience, no intiative, while the funny degree holders and cheats from their third world countries are better than Singaporeans.

And our stupid also agree to this new narrative.

The imbeciles think that they are very smart. So they deceived the dafts that they are entitled to become millionaires within one year of becoming a Monister. And the daft did nothing to stop them from carrying out the daylight robbery protected legally by the Pa-Lee-Men.

From there onwards, the Pseudo Smart Monisters started to con, cheat and deceive more and more until it's become a habit. So much so it's also become their rights to belittle, scold and trample upon their very own voters, so frequently, to the extent that at any important event held or in any important speech made, the Monisters never failed to add in a sharp knife slice or karate chop or a knockout punch at the daft voters who have voted for them to sit in the ivory tower of complete oblivion.

Today, it has manifested in different forms the idiotic nature of the imbecile Monisters, until there is no way one would have missed it, even if blindfolded. Pathetic!

This is the pathetic state of affairs of a well-developed 1st World country that has deteriorated so many within a short span of 15 years under a rogue government, the the very foresighted LKY had warned.

Ironically, LKY could not foresee that it had to be the person whom he had handpicked that would do the undoing of his good work and legacy. Tragic!

Very sad.

I don't know how they are going to live their lives once they lose power and become ordinary Ah Bengs. How would people deal with them on the streets?

Without the power and titles, their lives could become very miserable, being pushed around instead of pushing people around. The people would be glaring at them instead of them glaring at people.

Corruption is committed because of greed as most of the corrupted are not short of basic needs.

Theft is mostly committed due to one's circumstance, to satisfy the basics and also to provide maybe for the family. Thieves are usually at the lower end of the economic ladder.

So the penalties for thesending offences are skewed

One outstanding trait of all PAP MPs is balls-carrying of their Boss's Balls.

PM Lee said there is no Chinese Privileges in Singapore. I fully agree with him.
In Singapore, we have only political privileges. Anyone links to the PAP is a privileged class.

Queen of Hearts said...

I sense fear in the heart of all PAP MPs whenever they speak on important national issues.

They are so obsessed in their fear of making mistakes that will lead to the loss of their easy pissy jobs and their lucratively paid obscene salaries, status, power, privileges and prestige.

That's why the lesser amongst them dare only talk about stray cats, women's sanitary pads, sex in small confined spaces, and other insignificant and inconsequential matters.

Maybe those are the things they are confident enough to deal with. Anything bigger would be out of their million dollar intellect.

If she works in Spore's Chennai Bunsiness Park, she would feel very comfortable and can discriminate against others.
