These white warmongers would not walk away from a defeat quietly. They need to do something to regain some pride and also to continue to stir shit to destabilise Afghanistan. War is their occupation, their job. War is business, a profitable business for the American military.
Without wars they have no reason to exist and no reason to increase the defence budget to enrich themselves and to keep their jobs.

Would you believe they left all those weapons behind, just putting a few black hawk helicopters out of service for the Taliban?
The question is what have they done inside those weapons they left behind, instead of just blowing them up. Hard to believe they left all those for the Taliban to use. With today's technology, those could be Trojan Horses left behind for a purpose. They could be used for monitoring and spying, not to mention used for civil war they are creating. And they need to arm those rebels aka the old USA puppet deposed Afghanistan Government in exile, now known as the terrorist.
Ok all conspiracy theories. But think, wonder and understand why a war mad evil state would do such a thing.
They even sold rigged decoding machines to allies to spy on them. Yeah they do keep their allies close, but they are now keeping their enemies closer with rigged equipment left behind. The Taliban better not gloat over those weapons left behind for them, especially the sophisticated ones, and have to thread carefully over their usage. Those could also be used as homing targets for important installations for drones.
The clue is why are they appearing nonchalant and making little issue with so much weapons left behind? A little noise generated is expected, to musk the real purpose of the bigger agenda

Taiwan buying weapons from the US is paying protection money. They know the weapons would be useless if China wants to reunite the island by military means. No amount of weapons would change the fate of a forced unification. Even the Americans would not dare to intervene.
