HSBC - When would China charged this bank for its role in the arrest of Meng Wanzhou? 有仇必报

On Monday, as Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou resumed work in China, HSBC, which allegedly helped the US crack down on the Chinese tech giant, reported surging third-quarter profits in all of its markets, including the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong.

Experts said that the resolution of Meng's case had a positive influence on HSBC's business by dispelling investors' displeasure with the banking giant, whose shares are listed in the UK and Hong Kong.

HSBC said that third-quarter pre-tax profits jumped 75.8 percent year-on-year to reach $5.4 billion, and all of its market regions were profitable....

The bank came under fire on China's social media after it was reported to have helped US prosecutors with charges against Huawei, which led to the arrest of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou.  Global Times

Who are the experts mentioned above that said resolution of Meng Wanzhou's case had a positive influence on HSBC? Is China satisfied after the unlawful and disgraceful arrest of its prominent citizen by the rogues in America and Canada, detained for 3 years under very stressful and humiliating circumstances?

HSBC committed a crime against Meng Wanzhou by sharing her personal info with the Americans. This is a violation of confidentially and banking regulation. And Meng was arrested in Canada, another violation of human rights by the Canadian PM Trudeau, and put under house arrest for 3 years. She had to suffer the indignity of losing her freedom and personal rights, her leg tagged, and had to pay for costly legal fees to fight for her freedom. 3 years of her life was robbed from her, 3 years of personal freedom!

Did China take any legal actions against HSBC for the crimes against Meng Wanzhou? Did HSBC pay compensation to Meng Wanzhou for the breach of confidentiality and the loss of here freedom under detention by the Canadians?

This is not only a personal violation, a personal injustice, but a national debt, a crime against China. China must take action against HSBC to defend the rights of its citizen and its national pride. 有仇必报。 It cannot be another case of never mind after being bullied and abused by a bank. China would continue to be abused and kicked around if it did not set an example of HSBC by letting it go scot free. It is a bad example to set, just like how it allowed the Pinoys to bully and challenge its position in the South China Sea, by behaving as a weak power. China is inviting trouble from Mickey Mouse to itself for its meek behaviour and non action, afraid to defend its own rights and defend its own citizens. Period.

Embassy of Russia in Singapore and Tommy Koh's article

The Embassy of Russia in Singapore has taken note of the article by Dr Tommy Koh titled "What to Make of ASEAN's Ties with Russia", published in the StraitsTimes on September 17, 2024.

As a former senior diplomat and a respected expert on international affairs, Dr Koh undoubtedly possesses a deep understanding of the essence of the Russia-ASEAN dialogue partnership. However, the assertion that this relationship is "thin on substance" appears exaggerated and lacking in nuance. This claim cannot be considered impartial.

The Russia-ASEAN partnership has consistently been of a strategic nature, well before its formal elevation in November 2018. It extends far beyond mere trade and arms supplies, as Dr. Koh sought to convey to his readership. The ties between Russia and ASEAN encompass a wide array of strategically significant issues, both regionally and globally: energy and food security, addressing non-conventional security threats such as terrorism, extremism, and transnational crime, cooperation in international information security and emergency response, training of law enforcement personnel, and volunteering, among others. In January, Russia was conferred the status of ASEAN's digital partner. The relationship also thrives on vibrant people-to-people exchanges, as well as youth, cultural, educational, and scientific cooperation.

It is factually inaccurate to state that only two ASEAN member states have enjoyed very close relations with Russia and supported Moscow along its ongoing efforts to combat the #neoNazism in Ukraine. However, the fact is that only one ASEAN member state has imposed unilateral sanctions against us in the absence of a UNSC resolution . Besides, attributing Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s recent visit to Vladivostok for the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) to dissatisfaction with the US policy in the Middle East is both overly simplistic and unfounded. #RussiaMalaysia relations are built on a long history of amicable and substantive cooperation, with further significant achievements on the horizon.

The ASEAN member states regard Russia as a stabilizing, independent and trustworthy actor in the region's foreign policy, one that brings strategic equilibrium and, unlike certain other powers with neocolonial ambitions, refrains from meddling in the internal affairs of sovereign nations, resorting neither to coercion nor manipulation.

Brits are the devil in chief behind the evil Americans, both uncivilised AngloSaxons

The UK can be claimed to be the devil in chief, the USA is the descendant of the devil itself, and together they constitute the evil twain. Little Britain does not have the military power today to do much, but it has the USA behind to manipulate and by feeding them fabricated information to prolong wars, subterfuge and sabotage.

The UK's devilish hands in sabotaging all the peace deals in Ukraine is an open secret, with Boris Johnson directly involved. An agreement had already been reached between Moscow and Kyiv during the early stage of the Ukraine War, and it only took Boris Johnson a visit to Zelensky to turn the tables around.

The UK is also the evilest country, and this is no idle boast, feeding fake information to George W. Bush and his war mongering gang about Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq, which led to the Iraq War. Tony Blair was the mastermind behind all this and yet he was awarded a knighthood for his contribution.

The irony is that there are countries today still worshipping the evil twain, the father and son, if I may put it that way. Even those countries that suffered during the days of colonization. India bore the brunt of the British rule, with all its wealth stolen and even having to suffer by being forced to send food to the UK while Indians were starving in India. It is estimated that more than US$ 42 trillion (or pound sterling) were stolen by the Brits from India throughout their rule. It provided the wealth for the Brits to develop the country and became a rich country to show the world.

Karma has wrecked havoc on the Brits. It will do the same to the USA. It is only a matter of time.

BRICS Summit - Modi must be barred from attending

De-dollarization may not be fast and furious at present. But expect a tsunami once the BRICS global currency and settlement system takes off. The BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia should tell us more about the progress being made.

Modi is having a meeting in Washington with the emperor, taking instructions on what to do in Kazan, Russia. Quite coincidental that he is now in Washington just a month away from the BRICS summit. I smell a rat.

Expect Modi to go against the flow of the tide in Kazan. That is my bet.

PS. It is a matter of time before India be booted out of BRICS and SCO. Sleeping with the Americans, the number one enemy of both organisations, of the Arab and Muslim nations, is a no go. Briefing the Americans, getting instructions from the Americans before attending BRICS' summit, what is Modi saying?

Biden buttered Modi as the 'Leader of the QUAD'

Well, the Indians also think that what happened and is happening to China will not happen to them. India's turn will come when it is no longer useful to the USA.

Now, Modi's headdress is going to get bigger after being praised as the 'Leader of the QUAD' by Biden. That sure lifted Modi's ego to a higher level.

Modi ought to ask Biden when the India/Middle East/Europe Corridor is going to start construction. When is the railroad across the Pacific from USA to India going to start construction. There is nothing to be shy about such big projects as China is surely not going to be interested in bidding for projects that floats in the air.

It is so easy being USA President just saying things that cannot be done and getting away with it. Trump will surely have nothing to do with whatever corridors or back lanes as he is all for USA and to Make America Great Once again, not make India great definitely.
