American unthinking narratives

How real are these problems, or are they really problems for China? The silly Americans can continue to spin their lies for themselves to believe in them, and for the silly and brain dead to believe in these lies. If China is in real trouble, the Americans need not waste so much effort and resources to demonise China and put China down. Just sit back and relax, get the champagne ready to pop when China's economy collapses. No need to sweat the small stuff. Just believe in your own lies and be happy with it.

The American nuts believe that China is let by a bunch of unfit and unqualified clowns like those in Washington. And the last 50 years of dynamic and spectacular growth is fiction, all bluff, Chinese statistics cannot be trusted. Or the last 50 years are fiction, a fluke, coming to an end soon. Alright, for those who believed in the American lies, continue to believe. See what will happen to America and China in the next 20 or 30 years, no need to wait too long to see the real results of who is lying and who is winning.

China has ageing population problems, serious problems. Which developed countries did not have ageing problem? Are Japan and Europe's ageing problems less severe than China?  For America, just look at Trump and the oldies in the Senate and Congress and you will know what ageing problems are all about in America. There are many oldies living in the streets in America, starving, lack of medical care. China's oldies, ageing very young. They retired at 55 and 60 for the women and men, correct me if I am wrong, and all enjoying life, with a roof over their heads, with full medical care and have spare cash to go travelling or pursuing life's pleasure.

Property plunge is a managed crisis, a state policy to curb property speculation. It is a once off event, and now stabilising and unlikely to happen again. China will not allow property investment and speculation to go wild like a balloon waiting to burst. Property prices will be carefully controlled going forward. No one living in the streets of China.

The often hyped problem is the underperforming domestic market. The Chinese are not spending enough and also saving too much. Are these really problems? The Americans believe the Chinese must live like the reckless Americans, live for today and not to worry about tomorrow, borrow and spend to boost the economy, to expand the GDP. This may be what the Americans think is good. China and the Chinese think otherwise. Spend less, save for the rainy day. Do not get into debt.  The nominal GDP may be smaller than the Americans but could be very much bigger. It does not matter if the people are living well, have plenty to eat, well clothed and debt free. This is a policy and a matter of choice by China and the Chinese people. Follow the wild and reckless American way of life will bring disaster to China and the Chinese people. China does not need to chase a US$40 trillion debt.

China is the world's factory, manufacturing in full capacity, accused of overcapacity, to meet the needs of its people and the world. China is producing more and consuming less domestically. Is this a real problem, a crisis that would crush the Chinese economy? The silly Americans need not worry about China's economy crashing. Their own economy is already crashing, producing less and less but consuming more and more, boosting the GDP and the national debt that they cannot hope to repay. Who is in real trouble, a country like China, over producing and a country like America, underproducing but overconsuming?

What do you think?
