Deng Xiao Ping said to go ahead in progress to success the Chinese people must assume they have to cross the stream or river by testing or feeling every stone or pebble in the stream before being able to cross the stream or river successsively. Thus Deng Xiao Ping's thought really reflects Mao Tse-Tung's Great Leap Forward strategy of achieving economic and industrial success by trial and error and refused to bow to Russia and USA and the West of wanting to hamstrung China's progress and development.
In fact Deng Xiao Ping had learnt a useful lesson from the 'Great Leap Forward' to avoid pitfalls that might disrupt China's progress and development.Yang Feng Long : Taiwan , Taipeh
