COVID-19 Vaccination: Absurd, Impractical and Draconian Rules Against Human Dignity, Freedom and Liberty

MOH's latest arbitrary decree to impose upon everyone the need to be re-vaccinated every 270 days not only has no scientific basis but is also Absurd (no common sense), Impractical and Draconian.

Even in the US, their CDC does not approve a continuous booster shot beyond the third shot. The Chief of the US Covid-19 Advisor said that it is not necessary.

Even the Chief of the World Health Organisation has repeatedly said that it is not necessary to have booster shot after booster shot. He specifically said that it is Impractical and very costly.

On what basis did the Singapore Experts Committee came up with this absurd, Impractical and Draconian rule/decree that impinges on the basic human rights and liberties (work, movement and living) of decent human beings?

It is definitely against the International Laws and our National Constitution.

Singaporeans must call a stop for the trigger-happy style of this Covid-19 Management Team to continue inventing one Draconian measure after another, as if they are Absolute Monarchs.

By so doing, they don't seem to care about our life and livelihood at all. Therefore, it is absurd to even think that they care about our health and well-being.

Time to wake up, Singaporeans!

Covid19 - COV: Certificate of Vaccination - 270 days validation?

This is as recommended by the Expert Committee on Covid-19 Vaccination (EC19V) said the Ministry of Health (MOH) in a press release on Jan. 5, 2022.

This will also apply to individuals who received recognised non-mRNA primary vaccination regimens offered under the National Vaccination Programme as well as regimens of other WHO EUL vaccines.
For this group, however, most will not be due for a booster shot for some time.

MOH said that it will expect non-mRNA vaccine Novavax to be available as an option by then.

Fully vaccinated only for 270 days

From Feb. 14, 2022 onwards, a person will be considered as fully vaccinated only for 270 days (approximately nine months) after the last dose in their primary vaccination series, provided that they are:

Persons aged 18 years and above who have completed the primary vaccination series of Covid-19 vaccines

Eligible for booster vaccination

MOH said that these people should receive their booster shots from around five months thereafter and no later than 270 days thereafter, to ensure an optimal level of protection.

Upon receiving the booster, individuals will continue to be considered fully vaccinated beyond the 270 days.   From: themothership.sg

Starting Feb. 14, the city-state will require booster shots for people to maintain their "full vaccination" status, a requirement for entering supermarkets, restaurants and even workplaces.

Why and when has vaccine a valid period that must be renewed with a booster shot every 270 days? When has an effective vaccination scheme be limited in time and with an expiry date? Is this becoming another compulsory pay up scheme like medical insurance? This is worse than COEs for vehicles. COEs last for 10 years before expiring. This vaccine 'COE' or COV lasts for only 270 days. When expires, a person's movement would be restricted like vehicles, not allowed to enter designated places. Vehicles can still enter city zones by paying a toll fee. In this case, one cannot even pay a toll fee to restaurants, shopping centres, food courts or workplaces, cannot work, cannot renew licence.  No toll charges acceptable! It is as good as being locked down without a valid vaccination certificate.  Draconian?

On what basis did this Expert Committee come up with such a compulsory vaccination/booster scheme? Another money making scheme, pay up every 270 days or else? Are we being blackmailed?

There have been talks about controlling population growth with the vaccine when this virus cropped up. Now they can control the population with vaccine certificate certificates. No valid vaccination certificate, don't pay up, you are deprived of your rights to visit places, to go out and eat, to go to work etc etc.

What kind of draconian law is this? How far are we from a totalitarian state? Or we are already there?  Is there a violation of personal freedom, of human rights? We are a free society? As usual, what have the elites, the legal fraternity got to say about this? Self censorship?

Singaporeans need a bit of backbone and self respect

Based on the example of China, it can be equally said about Singaporeans in Singapore today.

1. No respectable Singaporean would want to live a life time being despised as the faceless, voiceless, subservient and meek people the PAP loves to scold, kick, slap, sue until bankrupt and put under ISA without trial.

2. No respectable Singaporean has to be hated, to be despised, to be bullied, to be trampled with and to be financially, politically and socially destroyed by the PAP Leedersheep.

3. No respectable Singaporean has to be made a running dog of the PAP and be allowed only to serve its master like a slave forever.

4. How could any respectable Singaporean still be thinking that Singaporeans must hide in the corner, not to be seen or heard, and yet have to vote and elect the Dracula, the biggest blood-sucker, to perpetually be the Master and Ruler of your lives for eternity?

China needs repackaging

The problem with china is Packaging. We all know very well china's capabilities in science and technology in this modern era. We are all in agreement with the fact that china has been bullied for far too long. A hard approach of countering USA mainstream media, is not a good way to fight back, just as an overly meek approach isn't good.

China need to re-brand itself. It needs a witty (a bit whacky would be ideal) spokesman/men/women, well versed in Western ways of communicating, to deliver the above simple subtle message in a casual nuanced way that appeals to Western audiences.

China should buy advertising space to bombard the world with its new image. That is to say a slow, calculated and appealing repackaging of its Just causes, with historical basis but yet not descending into presenting boring b&w war clips which Western audiences are tired of. The West dislike things they can't understand, and speaking chinese with subtitles, is not gonna win hearts. China need to reinvent its image to the world and subtlely seek world support from.common folks. If you hv seen Taliban spokesman Abdul Q Balkhi you will be amazed. He speaks perfect Queen's English and he has charisma. This kind of PR over a period of years, not one-off, is crucial to rebranding China to educate the 'savages' of the West. It is better than a hard approach tit-for-tat which achieves nothing but escalates and prolong enmities, and add fuel to the arsenal of extreme politicians of the savage West.

PS. Redbean's comment.

Agree that repackaging is needed and that is what China is doing.  China is not taking it down and fighting back in many ways across every field. China is not relying only on Wolf Warrior policy alone.

The disadvantage of China is language. Many countries were colonies of the West and the subjects were educated in English and mainly reading English and western media, and have been bombarded with history written by the West and their biased reporting for centuries. Their mindset and thinking have been programmed for decades and centuries without them knowing what is right or wrong, what is good for them or good for the colonial powers.

It would be good if China could produce more English media to reach out to the English readers all over the world. And China is doing it with many platforms, CGTN, CNBC, Chinese Daily, Global Times, Different Frames the World, Vision of China VOC, Eyes of Real China,  Long Xin, China QuickTake, The Changing China, China Talking, etc etc.

These new platforms would take time to win followers. It is a process in the making.

Should China continue to be the faceless meek Chinaman?

The recent change in China's foreign policy, from behaving like the faceless meek Chinaman, head bowed and quietly moving along doing his own things, letting people kicked and slapped and pretended that nothing happened, just to be safe and to avoid trouble, to the 'Wolf Warrior' policy, standing up to return a slap with a slap, a kick with a kick, at least to maintain a bit of manhood and dignity has seen some critics and opposition even in China.

There were many reasons, valid reasons, to behave like the meek and faceless Chinaman in the past. Deng Xiaoping had enough wisdom to know that during his time that was about the best policy to buy time to strengthen China in every aspect of nation building. Any attempt to raise the head and look up at the enemy would invite a big knock and back to head bowed and moving along silently.

When Xi Jinping came to power, China was no longer the poor and hapless agrarian country it was before. China had stood up in every field and built enough strength to be a respectable member of the international community. Xi must have made a thorough appreciation of China's ability vis a vis the number one enemy, the USA, before making such a major change in foreign policy.

Xi is as good as saying enough is enough. China is not going to bow its head and suffer in silence anymore. After seven decades of struggling and hardwork, China now has enough strength to not only stand up but to hit back when attacked. It was a tough choice. Xi could continue with Deng's policy of not getting into trouble, and let the Americans and the West, including little countries in SE Asia to kick China around... and all would be fine. Everyone would be very happy with China, the meek country of 1.3b people but always bent its head to avoid trouble when being kicked or pushed around, or ridiculed.

Until today, many analysts or politicians are still thinking that that the old ways was the best for China, to avoid trouble, and be the meek and faceless Chinaman that everyone 'loves' to kick around. The critics and skeptics are angry and unhappy and dismissed Xi as being stupid for standing up to the bullies, big and small. How can China stand up and upset everyone? China's place in the world is to remain unseen and unheard, only to be pushed around and kicked around even by small little countries. Doing what Xi had done made many countries and people very unhappy.

This is what Cui Tiankai's keynote speech in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse was all about. China must continue to bide its time, continue to be the faceless and meek Chinaman, not to ruffle feathers, not to make other countries unhappy. China should stay in its little corner, shut up and be a good boy as determined by the big powers and small countries. China has no place in international affairs.

The contrarian view, led by Yang Jiechi, culminating in the 'Wolf Warrior' policy is all about standing up to aggression, standing up tall with pride and dignity. This policy would be indeed foolish, if China did not assess itself, its economic and military might that it is able to stand up to the Americans and the West. China would have been beaten to mince meat if it is still the weak China of the past. It is not.

The day must come, sooner or later, for China to stand up as an equal of every country in the world. It is a judgement call. And that day when China stood up, it is going to send shock waves around the world. And it has. Xi and his colleagues have decided that China is strong enough to stand up and be a respectable country. The Chinese people have suffered enough humiliation. Every single day of being meek and faceless is one day too much. No respectable people or nation would want to continue to bow its head and move around quietly like non entity in the world, when even small little country could strut around with pride and dignity.

And there would be strong and harsh reactions to a meek Chinaman standing up when he was expected to keep quiet, mind his own business, and to be slapped and turned the other cheek. The new China that would not be kicked around is too much for those that had lived with a China they could kick around. But soon they would get use to it. Soon they would learn that their proper place, their respective place vis a vis China would have to change. The pecking order has changed, must change.

China's standing up to the bullies of the world, big and small, would not be easy and peaceful. Fortunately it is peaceful so far. The timing is crucial. China would have a harder time if the policy change was premature, and China would have been defeated and isolated for good. The fact that China could stand up peacefully is a vindication that Xi has chosen the right time to stand up. The rest of the world, including the Americans understood the strength of the new China. If they think China is no match to them, the evil Americans would be the first to have started a war with China and press down China to where it was before.

Any doubters to Xi's policy of standing up as a respectable country and a world leader needs to have their heads checked. Anyone still thinking that China should go back to the 'good old days' of a faceless and meek Chinaman and think that that is the best for China must be sick, mentally sick and lack of confidence and pride in the new China. China needs to earn its right as the equals of the world and fearing trouble, avoiding trouble would not gain China any respect in a world where might is right.

China has not only proven itself that it is not a weak and meek nation to be kicked around, it is a new world leader taking its rightful place in a troubled and corrupt world that needs to be changed. Xi's time is as perfect as could be. The rest of the bullied world needs a new and upright and fair leader, not a warmongering and bullying terrorist striking fear and oppressing the world to do its bidding. More and more countries would be rallying to the Chinese side as they have had enough of the bullying and oppression of the Americans and the West.

China has risen peacefully and there is no turning back. The Americans and the West know this and trying their meek best to want to contain China and put back China into its little corner, not to be seen or heard, to be the 'good boy', to be bullied and kicked around.

Time has changed, China has changed, the world has changed, the Americans have not changed and still hoping to be the bully of the world. Some minds have not changed and still lack the confidence to be respectable and dignified Chinaman. China must not be the Ah Q anymore, not a single day.

Without Xi's confidence and wisdom to seize the moment, China would still be the punching bag of the Americans and even little countries in SE Asia. Yes, the Americans and the West are hitting back. This is expected. This is not something avoidable or to be feared. Does China still want to be the punching bag? For sure that is the China that the Americans, the West and the little countries in SE Asia want.

No respectable people would want to live a life time being despised as the faceless and meek people the world loves to hate, to be bullied and ignored forever. How could any respectable Chinese still be thinking that China must hide in the corner, not to be seen or heard?

Xi did not make the decision to change out of anger or egoistic pride. It was a carefully calculated move after very serious thoughts and consideration from all angles. To be a world leader, to be respected, China must fight for it fiercely, no need for any apologies.

Afghanistan - How to replace the Taliban with the Taliban?

Read in Quora this ....

Someone posted the following here at Quora which I think aptly summarized that US of A debacle…

"If you ever feel useless or totally frked-up something, remember that it took 4 U.S.A Presidents, trillions of US$, millions of lives lost, and more than 20 years to replace the Taliban with the Taliban."

The Americans are still controlling the mass media and setting the agenda. Everyday, every silly media would be reporting about North Korea testing their missiles or Russia amassing troops in the border with Ukraine as if it were their faults. North Korea cannot test missiles, Russia cannot amass troops when the Americans are encroaching into Russia's neighbourhood, trying to grab Ukraine and other former Warsaw Pact states in violation of an agreement with the USSR.

All the western media and crony Asia media would report or parrot the American agenda, daily, to make sure the unthinking be programmed, that they are the good guys, others were the bad guys. They never question or condemn why the Americans are having 11 aircraft carriers,  hundreds of military bases and biochemical labs all over the world, 7000 nuclear warheads all operational, all tested without being condemned or sanctioned, and invading countries, fighting wars and massacring the people of their invaded countries.

When would national media of the rest of the world be reporting news from their own perspective, using their own national journalists, instead of being unthinking parrots, reporting news from the American Empire? This is the 21st Century and many countries are still behaving like colonies of the American Empire, controlled and dictated and bullied by the Americans.

North Korea and any country have every right to build up their own defence capability or be bullied and threatened or invaded by the white savages that have overwhelming military superiority. Their only means of defence and remaining independent is to build up a strong military force able to strike back when attacked. North Korea, Russia, China or Iran are victims of American oppression and aggression. They are no threat to any country, no threat to silly unthinking American crony countries.

The real threat to every country is the American Empire and their terrorist organisations, the CIA, NED, the NGOs etc etc. They are behaving like gangsters all over the world, forming gangs to destabilise countries, create instability and inciting wars.

Don't be stupid. Think and find out who are the real trouble makers, the warmongers.

Leadership: Apologising Is A Weakness Or Strength?

It has been commonly believed, upheld and maintained consistently in Singapore by certain quarters of leadership that to apologise for a mistake is a display of weakness.

Is it true that to admit a mistake is to reflect a weakness on the part of the one who said sorry?

The UK's PM, Boris Johnson, has just apologised to his MPs for a mistake/blunder he should not have made. Here is his full Statement made in Parliament:

"Mr Speaker, I want to apologise. I know that millions of people across this country have made extraordinary sacrifices over the last 18 months.

I know the anguish that they have been through - unable to mourn their relatives, unable to live their lives as they want, or do the things they love.

And I know the rage they feel with me and with the government I lead, when they think that in Downing Street itself the rules are not being properly followed by the people who make the rules.

And though I cannot anticipate the conclusions of the current inquiry, I have learned enough to know there were things we simply did not get right and I must take responsibility.

No 10 is a big department with the garden as an extension of the office - which has been in constant use because of the role of fresh air in stopping the virus.

And when I went into that garden just after six on the 20th of May 2020, to thank groups of staff before going back into my office 25 minutes later to continue working, I believed implicitly that this was a work event.

But, Mr Speaker, with hindsight I should have sent everyone back inside, I should have found some other way to thank them, and I should have recognised that even if it could be said technically to fall within the guidance, there would be millions and millions of people who simply would not see it that way.

People who suffered terribly, people who were forbidden from meeting loved ones at all, inside or outside.

And to them and to this House [of Commons], I offer my heartfelt apologies.

And all I ask is that Sue Gray be allowed to complete her inquiry into that day and several others, so that the full facts can be established. And I will of course come back to this House and make a statement."

In reality, a good leader bound by his conviction to a high standard of morality, ethics, justice and fairness, and his ability to discern right from wrong, is bound to apologise to his people for mistakes, oversights and blunders made by himself, his colleagues or his subordinates. It shows his courage and strength in character. It displays his willingness to take full responsibility.

On the other end, cowards will never apologise or say sorry because they are afraid of making mistakes. They are afraid of being blamed. They are afraid to see themselves in the mirror. Why?

Because they believe that to apologise or say sorry is to admit a mistake, an oversight or a blunder done, and therefore it is a weakness. Perhaps, in their dreams at night, in the dark hours, they are seeing the images of ugly ghosts in themselves?

In truth, to be able to admit a mistake, oversight or blunder and say sorry, is a mark of a great man with great strength and great courage, not a weakness as has been maintained by some cowardly leaders both in the UK and in Singapore.

For a long time, I have been wanting to write about this inability or unwillingness of certain Singapore leaders to apologise to the people for the mistakes and blunders that they have made over the last 55 years or so.

I held it back because it does not reflect well of their legacy (a legacy of cowardice and irresponsibly in leadership), and it is better that it remains that way.

Why correct them when you know that the leopards will not be able to change their spots?

Why now? Think.

COVID-19 VACCINATION: MORE DRACONIAN DECREES ENACTED BY SINGAPORE DICTATORSHIP

Taxi drivers who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by Feb 1 will be suspended from their contracts until they are fully vaccinated.

That is the latest of a series of draconian decrees that have been enacted by powerful dictatorial leaders of the Communist Party of Singapore (the CPS aka PAP).

This latest draconian decree, against the Employnent Laws, has just been announced by the Senior Minister of Status for Transport, Amy Khor yesterday (Jan 13).

In years to come, if those who took the emergency use only mRNA pseudo vaccines suffered from serious negative consequences, all these draconian dictators will have to pay retribution.

The masses must store the details in their collective memory for posterity. Class actions should not be spared when the time arises.u

US challenges China's claims in South China Sea VS China challenges the Europeans' claims to USA, Canada, Australia....

WASHINGTON: The United States on Wednesday (Jan 12) laid out its most detailed case yet against Beijing's "unlawful" claims in the South China Sea, rejecting both the geographic and historic bases for its vast, divisive map.

In a 47-page research paper, the State Department's Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs said China had no basis under international law for claims that have put Beijing on a collision course with the Philippines, Vietnam and other Southeast Asian nations.  CNA

Ooohhh, China's claims of South China Sea islands have no basis under international law.  Really? What is the basis for the Europeans to claim the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the islands in the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Ocean? It is the whole continent of North America and Australia with indigenous people living there. Not no man's land.

China should simply ignore their spurious and mischievous allegation and put up a similar paper to challenge the European Americans, Canadians, Australians and the New Zealanders claims of the land they called the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, etc etc to start with.

The white men's claims to these lands are simply illegal under any provision of international law. Their claims were based on conquest, claims by the use of military power, by massacres and genocides. This is the time to challenge this in the world court, in the UN, to settle the injustice committed against the natives of these lands by the Europeans, including abuses of human rights.

The natives of these lands that they have lost to the European invaders could work with China to fight for the return of their lands. China shall call on the Europeans to cease their unlawful occupation of lands belonging to the indigenous peoples. Time for China to rally the victims of the white curse and defend their rights.

The robbers, murderers and looters should not benefit from their crimes against the indigenous people of the world. The white men are the real thieves of other people's land, and murderers as well. It is the same methodology as they alleging that China is committing genocide when they were the real culprits. People living in glass houses should not throw stones at others.

The international law would not recognise the outrageous claim of American Exceptionalism, that indigenous people were subhumans and the Europeans have the right to seize their lands, subhumans have no rights of ownership of their lands according to their racist Doctrine of Christian Discovery.

Bring the European robbers of native lands to justice.

If ever there was a ‘detention camp’ for Muslims, it would be Guantanamo

Chinese foreign ministry on Wednesday called Guantanamo Bay prison "a dark page in the history of human rights" and said if ever there was a "detention camp" for Muslims, it would be the Guantanamo Bay.

Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin made the remarks when asked to comment on a statement made by a group of independent human rights experts appointed by the UN Human Rights Council. The statement condemned the continued operation of the Guantanamo Bay detention facility as a site of "unparalleled notoriety" and "a stain on the US Government's commitment to the rule of law," ahead of the 20th anniversary of the facility that falls on Tuesday.

For the past 20 years, the US' scandal of the abuse of Guantanamo prisoners has been repeatedly reported and aroused great outrage from the international community. The US has been pledging to close the prison, but 20 years later, 39 men remain at Guantanamo, of whom only several people have been charged or convicted, said Wang.

In fact, the US operates secret prisons all over the world, and Guantanamo is just the tip of the iceberg, Wang noted, referring to reports that the US set up a large number of secret prisons in Afghanistan and in its ally countries, as well.

The Guantanamo Bay prison and other "black prisons" of the US are a constant reminder of the US' human rights abuses and crimes, said Wang.

The country should immediately close Guantanamo Bay and other secret prisons, stop arbitrary detention and abuse of prisoners and other atrocities, and make an apology and compensation to the victims, he said.

Covid-19: Deadly Omicro Should Not Be Labelled As Mild

The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned against describing the Omicron variant as mild, saying it is killing people across the world.

Though a few studies have suggested (but dare not confirm) that the Omicron variant is less likely to cause more serious illness than the previous Covid variants, it certainly is not mild. It would be a serious mistake to treat it as mild.

One key factor is certain, though: The record number of people getting infected with Omicron has left numerous healthcare systems across the whole world under severe pressure.

On Monday alone, the US recorded more than one million Covid cases within 24 hours. Across Europe, the number of daily Covid-19 infections have doubled or tripled. The spread of Omicron infections is fast and furious. There is no sign of it decreasing.

WHO said that the number of global cases has increased by 71% in the last week, and in the Americas by 100%. It also indicated that among the severe cases worldwide, 90% were unvaccinated.

"While Omicron does appear to be less severe compared to Delta, especially in those vaccinated, it does not mean it should be categorised as mild," Dr Tedros told a press conference on Thursday.

"Just like previous variants, Omicron is hospitalising people and it is killing people."

"In fact, the tsunami of cases is so huge and quick, that it is overwhelming health systems around the world."

It is a fact that the Omicron variant is highly contagious (at least 3 to 5 times more contagious than the Delta variant) and can infect people even if they are fully vaccinated, or boosted.

Therefore, do not unduly let your guard down when some people suggest to you that Omicron is mild.

Remain alert, cautious and don't take things for granted. Your own health and lives are in your own hands.

Don't allow any dare-devil, gangho, politically motivated and self-interested minister, CEO or self-appointed "expert" put you off-guard. They are not responsible nor will they take responsibility for anything that they had said that might have influenced your decisions, which may subsequently cause you to suffer irreparable damage to your health, or even cause death.

In the present world of fast money-making, glory hunting, power seeking and hypocrisy, there is no shortage of deception, disinformation, misinformation and outright lies.

Take care.

More than 100 doctors issued an open letter urging the government to pay attention to the safety of mRNA vaccines

 Translated from KL Chinese press:

More than 100 doctors issued an open letter urging the government to pay attention to the safety of mRNA vaccines

KUALA LUMPUR: More than 100 doctors have issued an open letter urging the government to pay attention to the safety of messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines.

They also said that new data, which began to emerge months after the second dose of the mRNA vaccine, showed that the vaccine was "ineffective" against the South African Omicron variant, for which there is still no clear scientific explanation.

In a scientific open letter dated January 10 to the Prime Minister, Health Minister and National Security Council of Malaysia, 114 doctors pointed out that the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has only just begun to study the long-term results of vaccine-induced myocarditis, so the current situation is The safety of such vaccines is still full of unknowns.

The doctors pointed out in an open letter that new data showed that the mRNA vaccine was "ineffective" for Omicron.

"What's more worrying is that if the current cohort of vaccinated young and healthy people contract Covid-19, the associated infection may contribute to a higher risk of developing myocarditis."

The open letter was written by histopathology and statistics consultant Mani Mara and supported by 113 doctors.

In general, doctors say, results of drug safety can only be seen after at least 20 years of widespread use, because new drugs are often only tested for a short period of time, and mid- and long-term adverse effects may remain unknown;

Small sample size, so there may be some rare but fatal adverse reactions not found.

Doctors cite studies revealing that young men who receive the mRNA vaccine have a higher risk of developing myocarditis than contracting Covid-19.

They said that the mRNA-type covid vaccine is still a "novel" drug, and there was no overview of its safety and effectiveness before. Instead, it was recently piloted by researchers from Oxford University in the United Kingdom and published in the "Natural Medicine" journal. The research analysis clearly pointed out that, There is a causal relationship between these vaccines and myocarditis.

According to research, people suffer from injuries after vaccination; the Moderna vaccine has a higher mRNA concentration, so there is a higher incidence of myocarditis; and the second and third injections afterward will increase the risk of myocarditis.

"The study also showed that young men who received the mRNA vaccine had a higher risk of developing myocarditis than contracting Covid-19."

*Questioning the relevant Malaysian authorities Citing Research Data Base*

The doctors pointed out that a number of medical issues have arisen in Malaysia's long-term COVID-19 vaccine policy, including the identity, qualifications and conflicts of interest of the relevant bodies of Malaysia's Vaccine Advisory Committee.

They said the Vaccine Adverse Reactions Committee of Malaysia also had issues of identity, qualifications and conflicts of interest.

They questioned the data base of the relevant Malaysian agencies and recommended the use of the covid vaccine.

Doctors say a directive from the National Security Council that people need to be vaccinated to continue their normal lives could lead to medical problems.

They also questioned whether the "informed consent" form for people to administer the covid vaccine has been updated and highlighted, and the "black box" warning about the risk of drug "raw material".

"Hopefully these issues raised will be taken into consideration and raised to reassure the people."

It is not possible to stop the Omicron

Just as we were all supposed to meet the Delta sooner or later, it is even more certain that all of us will meet the Omicron within the next few months.

And no, hospitalisation, ICU and deaths are not decoupled from the Omicron cases.

Of course, they will be coupled, but with a delay, and with a lower proportion bcos much of the world is either vaccinated or had prior infections.

There are already reports of Omicron infection deaths in the different parts od the world.

The fall in Delta after their recent peaks would lead to a fall in hospitalisation, ICU and deaths in the first instance, even if the supposedly milder Omicron is just starting up.

And hospitals in parts of USA are filling up and struggling.

True, both vaccinated and recovered patients can be infected, though usually mild.

Omicron waves Europe and USA are expected to peak between now till end February.

Omicron waves are starting to surge in Asia - already the Philippines are seeing record daily cases, well past their Delta peaks.

So in Sg, we should expect to see a big surge sometime between now, possibly with super spreaders sparked by CNY festivities and gatherings.

So we should be prepared for a high speed roller coaster wave sometime in February/March before the situation calms in April/May/June.

Hang in there and stay calm.

mRNA vaccines are so effective....

For the year 2021, China reported 2 deaths from the coronavirus. The USA reported 434,795 deaths for the same period. And China also reported that 1.2b Chinese have been vaccinated, ie more than 90% of its population fully vaccinated.  The USA is still struggling to go pass the 65% level.

The numbers clearly confirmed that the Chinese vaccines are very ineffective and that the mRNA vaccines are super effective.  If China desires to have more deaths, it must stop using non mRNA vaccines and revert to jab its citizens with mRNA vaccines. Then it would be able to compete with the USA to see who could achieve more deaths from the virus.

Is the above conclusion logical? mRNA vaccines resulted 434,795 deaths must be more effective than China's non mRNA vaccines, causing a mere 2 deaths?

The fact that the Americans continue to push for more Americans to be jabbed by mRNA vaccines, to go for 3rd and 4th booster shots means that the Americans have full confidence in their mRNA vaccines. 96% efficacy, good for children also.  The Americans cannot be so deluded to continue to use an ineffective vaccine right? This reminds everyone of the bygone days when they infected the indigenous people, young and old, no one was spared, from the diseases of Europe. Now it is looking like a repeat of this exercise, but on themselves and their own young and old, no one would be spared. Leave no one behind.

So, the conclusion must be logical and right. The mRNA vaccines are effective, and thousands of times more effective than non mRNA vaccines. This is logically speaking, based on empirical data. The more mRNA vaccines are used, the higher will be the death numbers.

What do you think? Oh, oh, maybe the Chinese are lying, there must be a few hundred thousand of Chinese deaths. They are just not telling the truth. The stupidity has no cure type would believe so. How could China have only 2 deaths when they are not using the most effective mRNA vaccines, 96% efficacy, world best vaccines?

How dare anyone claims that mRNA vaccines are ineffective? If they are, it is only temporary. Just jab, follows by a few more booster shots, and a few more booster jabs,  and it would be effective again.

Nancy Pelosi must be very happy with the results. What a beautiful sight. 1.35m daily infected cases!!!!! Wow, wow.  God's Army working wonderfully.

Then they banned travel in and out of India when Indian had 400,000 daily cases. Would the Americans be banning travel in and out of the USA?  No, cannot. American Exceptionalism. Instead they are banning Singapore, their very good friend and close ally. Without Singapore they would not be able to control the Straits of Malacca with their warships in Changi.

PS.  When would silly Singapore ban the Americans from entering Singapore? Why only allowed the Americans to ban Singapore or specifically to put Singapore as a high risk country and we dare not put the USA as a higher risk country with 1.35m cases a day?

Top 20 Predictions in 2022 Part 2 – 2 2022 Prediction (2) – A Turning Point?

The US CPI will be out on 12 Jan 8.30am local time. Market forecast is at 7.1%. Actual figure could be higher given the demand and supply factors (and shocks in 2021) in the goods as well as the tight supply in the labour markets.

Another possible factor for the much elevated price level (at least to some extent) could be the concept of money neutrality (given the current massive US$8.8 trillions in the US FED balance sheet, some from “rollover” from the 2009 to 2014 US FED QE1,2,3 (Quantitative Easing) & Operation Twist and the remaining about US$5 trillions since July 2019, when they reversed the QT (quantitative tightening) embarked on in Oct 2017 by then US FED chairwoman Janet Yellen starting at US$10 billion per month and incrementally raised by US$10 billion in each succeeding quarter capped at US$50 billion, but mainly from the QE Unlimited by FED Chairman Jerome Powell since Mar 2020.

An additional factor could be what is called ”Voodoo Economics” (a term coined by Bush Snr during the 1980 US Presidential Election campaign about Ronald Reagan’s then proposed supply-side tax cut policy often advocated based on the dynamic scoring principle). Empirically the benefits especially economic growth arising from tax cut is fairly limited and proven short lived but the downside is possibly heightened price level in the longer run. Due to the 2017 tax cuts policy, the full-blown price level impact might be felt significantly from 2022 onwards.

Turning away from the US, what are the potential ramifications on our (beloved) Little Red Dot and the possible measures that can be undertaken to mitigate the downsides and navigate through this potentially turbulent period? First of all, our monetary policy differs significantly from the rest in that our central bank (MAS) manages via our exchange rate. Our main monetary policy tool namely the Singapore Dollar Nominal Effective Exchange Rate Band (SGD NEER Band) was implemented in 1981 by our then DPM Goh Keng Swee, given the extremely open nature of our economy, its miniscule size relative to the world, utter lack of any natural resources and its strategic geographical location. Singapore has limited capacity and thus needs to import most of what it needs for its domestic consumption, value-add production and exports. The mandate of a central bank often centres around price stability, sustainable economic growth and full employment. For that, in the past 4 decades, our exchange rate based monetary policy has achieved far beyond what we could imagine and we should be extremely thankful and grateful for the superb foundation and system that our old guards such as MM Lee, DPM GKS, DPM Toh Chin Chye, FM Hon Sui Sen, Foreign Minister Rajaratnam, Law Minister E W Barker, Social Affairs Minister Othman Wok, National Development Minister Lim Kim San, Labour Minister Ong Pang Boon, etc etc had done and laid down for the future generations (including ours).

To fully understand the implications of our unique exchange rate-based monetary policy, we need to understand a basic concept in international finance known as the trilemma or impossible trinity .

Another silly attempt by the Americans to hurt Muslims in Xinjiang

American electric vehicle company, Tesla, was slammed by United States lawmakers and human rights activists for opening a showroom in Xinjiang, northwest China, Reuters reported....

Urged to shut down showroom

The Alliance for American Manufacturing described Tesla's decision to open a showroom in Xinjiang as "especially brazen", Forbes added.

In a statement, the non-profit partnership that includes leading manufacturers in the U.S. said, “The evidence is clear: China's government is undertaking a cultural genocide in Xinjiang. Anyone still doing business in the region is complicit."

Ibrahim Hooper, director of national communications of The Council on American-Islamic Relations, urged Tesla to shut down the showroom in Xinjiang and cease the "economic support for genocide", The Guardian reported.

Hooper added that there should not be a U.S. company doing business in a region "that is the focal point of a campaign of genocide targeting a religious and ethnic minority".

The above is quoted from themothership.sg.

This is another attempt by the evil Americans to hurt the interests of Muslims in Xinjiang by fabricating the genocide lie and blame it on China. The whole world knows that there is no genocide in Xinjiang. The world's biggest genocide was in the USA, the massacre of millions of native Indians by the white Americans. Many massacres and genocides were also committed in India, China, Africa and Latin America by the white men. And they got the audacity to cook up such a genocide lie against China in the 21st century when such things can no longer be hidden away?

The fact that Elon Musk is having his showroom in Xinjiang is proof that there is no genocide there, and Elon Musk is calling out the American lie. The showroom would provide jobs for the Muslims in Xinjiang. But the evil Americans are trying to destroy the lives of the Muslims there with this lie and forcing all American companies from creating jobs there.

This is evilness to the core.  Stop the lie. No one is believing in them. The whole Muslim world knows it and are behind China on this. Go and save the Muslims in Iraq, Syria, the Palestinians, in Yemen, Somalia, in Afghanistan etc etc, and stop killing them, stop the wars, get out of their land, evil murderers and destroyers of homes and Muslim lives, turning millions into refugees. These are the truth, and the Muslims are paying dearly for it.

PS. China's response, all the clothing and personal protective gears, mask etc etc came from Xinjiang and would have the word Xinjiang printed boldly on them. Even rare earth is from Xinjiang. Americans and American companies are barred by their laws to buy things from Xinjiang.

Top 20 Predictions in 2022 Part 2 – 1 2022 Prediction (2) – A Turning Point?

The US unemployment rate in Nov 2021 was at 3.9%. PCE core inflation rate came in at 6.2%. To tackle inflation, central bankers need to consider the impact on the unemployment rate and output (GDP) when they “press the money supply button” to raise the short term Federal Fund Rate (FFR) . Empirically, the downward sloping Short Run Phillips Curve (SRPC) depicts an inverse relationship when plotted in the unemployment-inflation space. When this relationship holds, predictably Okun’s Law (OL) comes into the next “picture” which shows the relationship between unemployment and GDP growth rate. Linking the SRPC and OL, we get to what matters to individuals, households, firms and governments at large which is the sacrifice ratio aka disinflationary output costs.

As many macroeconomists would know that the original Phillips Curve relationship between unemployment and inflation works well from 1861 till around 1970. The relationship broke down in the 1970s and 1980s. It was later discovered that when plotted in an unemployment-changes in inflation rate space, the downward sloping inverse relationship holds true again using data from 1961 till 2005.

This modern Phillips Curve is known as the expectations-augmented Phillips Curve. Now, why the need to “drag” this into our earlier discussion? Most importantly the modern Phillips Curve shows a short run trade off in the rate of change of inflation vis-à-vis change in unemployment rate. There is empirical evidence to support an estimated short run trade-off between unemployment and inflation in the ratio of 2 to 1 assuming inflation expectations remain constant. Based on Okun’s Law, 1% rise in unemployment equates to 2% fall in GDP. Linking both relationship (theoretically) gives a sacrifice ratio of 1% fall in inflation to 4% decline in GDP.

Another renowned economist Lawrence Ball gave an estimate of 2.39 instead of 4 for the sacrifice ratio. Why the discrepancy? This is because inflation expectation changes and tends to be lower during disinflationary period. As we know, the US FED FOMC meeting in Dec 2021 signaled 3 possible interest rate hikes this year (2022). This is where the “problem” is? What is the relationship between change in interest rate and change in inflation rate? In other words, how much and how fast to hike interest rate to lower the inflation rate to the long run target of 2%?

Over-Paid Ministers Have The Tendency To Over-Do Things?

Highly over-paid Ministers have the tendency to highly over-import foreigners, new citizens, new voters, and Covid-19 infected persons. Facts and figures in the past 20 years have consistently shown this trend.

For example, yesterday, Sunday 9 Jan 2022, MOH reported there were 854 new cases of Covid-19 infections. Of these new cases, about 70%, or 587 cases were happily imported and warmthly welcomed. Only about 30%, or 218 cases, were local transmissions, out of which 16 cases were said to have come from the foreign workers dormitories (which I suspect is grossly under-reported).

Also yesterday, of the reported confirmed 327 Omicron cases, 218 were imported and 109 were locally transmitted by the imported. From this data, it tells us that the imported Omicron cases are twice as much as the locally transmitted. That means, instead of reducing the number of imported Omicron cases, the MTF has purposely allowed the number of imported Omicron cases to double that of the local Omicron infections.

Overall, the MTF seems not happy with the small number of Covid-19 infections transmitted locally, and as such, has increased the imported cases to 70% of the total number of Covid-19 infections.

That's my interpretation of the facts and figures.

What do you think?

Singapore - The coming crunch

The Coming Crunch

According to a survey of 1002 workers, 24% of Singaporean workers plan to resign in the first half of 2022. 49% are unsure if they would stay in their jobs. The pandemic looms large over the workforce, with 42% of respondents thinking about leaving their jobs and citing the pandemic as a factor. Other major contributing factors include disliking their current job (49%), increased stress (46%), workload (44%), burnout (33%) and isolation (20%).

As of time of writing, 52000 employees remain unvaccinated against Covid. They will be barred from returning to the workplace starting 15 January. Partially-vaccinated workers have until 31 January to complete their vaccination regimen. If they cannot be redeployed to remote work positions, they risk being placed on no pay leave or being terminated outright. Terminating an employee for not being vaccinated would not be considered wrongful dismissal.

The above is from an article by Benjamin Cheah posted in TRE.

To some this is a good development. It is a good excuse to bring in more cheap labour. And you can be sure the foreigners coming in to replace the daft Singaporeans would all be 'fully vaccinated' and with all the necessary papers to prove that they are vaccinated. And also with all the straight As certificates to boot. The VTL is so efficient in keeping out the unvaccinated and uninfected. Nothing to worry about.

The employers must be very happy. No need to check, don't bother. Can work ok leow. No proper qualifications, fake degrees also can. This is the new Singapore post Lee Kuan Yew. Lee Kuan Yew might be stringent and maintained some form of righteousness and right versus wrong. Post Lee Kuan Yew Singapore, anything goes.  Singaporeans, please make way for hungrier and street smart 'good degree and good experience' foreigners to take the jobs that you do not want. Even CEO jobs in the banks, we know Singaporeans did not want and would happily give away to foreigners. Let the clever foreigners have them.

Singaporeans can all resign, no problem. The only problem is how are they going to survive in this expensive piece of real estate and to live to 80 or 90 without a decent job? Be self employed and drive Grabs, be delivery boys and girls, be door guards or door keepers, or be cleaning supervisors? These jobs would not be enough to pay for a flat.

Singapore is not a country but a hotel.  Singaporeans can fuck off, foreigners can takeover all the good jobs, can become new citizens. This seems to be the thinking of morons and imbeciles, that a country exists no matter what happens to its citizens. The country is more important than its people.

How to buy or service the super expensive public housing? Oh, can go for rental flats.
