American versus Chinese thinking logic in AI and chip designs

Jensen Huang said Nvidia did not only lose the Chinese market for his chips, all Nvidia chips now banned from China. He has to thank clown Trump for his fate and the future of Nvidia expansion. Trump has virtually strangled the neck of Nvidia for good. But Jensen is not only worrying about the lost of Nvidia's largest chip market and NEVER going to get it back. Trump has closed this door by telling the Chinese that they cannot depend or trust the Americans in the supply of chips. Jensen Huang is fearing the loss of AI and software developers to China when they migrated to work for Chinese chips and AI models. This is a double whammy to Nvidia and all American chip designers and makers as well as AI models. The best Chinese developers and designers are going to work for China, or a big part of these special talents, including those from the West and the world would be lost to China.

DeepSeek and fellowmen will be the greatest beneficiaries of Clown Trump's fiasco. Can't blame Trump for he still thinks he is the best strategists, the most clever man in America. DeepSeek and fellowmen are America's nemesis, released into the market to undercut the foundation and roots of all American AI models...for free, and offering 90% or more of the needs of users, more than enough to do the work they need. China is in fact capturing 90% of the world market in the application of AI models. There is no room for growth for the American high tech giants. Dead at birth, still birth. The reality will hit the Americans in no time. They are now in a stage of self denial. Who can afford American AI? How many needs American AI?

DeepSeek and friends are not only good enough and cheap. They are designed with an architecture and philosophy to operate cheaply, freely and efficiently. Unlike the American bulldozers that thrived on shock and awe logic, employs all the forces and resources available to do a simple job, any job, like using a sledgehammer to smash an ant, Chinese strategy and thinking logic is more precise and efficient, like using a scalper to deal with very specific problems. Chinese AI models only use a fraction of the full power of the apps and data centres, relevant information and specific facts to solve a specific problem. The American models uses everything, like carpet bombing to hit a school or a wedding party and everything around them.

Chinese AI models are very precise and targeted, using only resources and facts that are needed to solve specific issues and problems. They are thus very efficient in the use of expensive chips and energy. No unwanted and wasteful effort and power to do a minor job with the full power of the data centre running in full steam.

DeepSeek and Chinese AI models can operate cheaply and efficiently and cutting down the cost of the users and operators. No need to pay for Rolls Royce to move from point A to point B and burning tires and fuels unnecessary, cheap maintenance and running cost.

How are the massive blundering and overpowering American giants going to compete with cheap and efficient small operators that can do almost everything faster and cheaper? How are energy deficient countries going to operate American data centres that would consume all the electricity of a small city? Chinese thinking logic is always about cost and efficiency, no or little wastage on effort and resources, exactly what many countries, middle and small states and corporations and companies need.

I bet sinkies G will ban deepseek usage in G sector as a national security threat soon. Sinkies like to pay for "expensive" stuffs, like paying for under performing ministers. Unfortunately the chinese here had become banana, so the thinking logic is more like ang mo.

Saying that the Chinese here had all become bananas is a tad too generalizing - knocking the whole ship with a bamboo pole according to a Chinese saying.

Why do you think Hougang still remains an opposition ward for more 35 years, despite all the punishments, carrots trotted out and shifting of borders? Why Aljunied GRC and Sengkang followed also fell to the Workers Party and knocking at the door of Parliament are those constituencies in the East. Are the citizens in those places not Chinese.

There is going to be a battle for propaganda generation using AI moving forward. That is not mainstream news now, but it will be soon. It is already quite evident watching videos on Youtube, and China has to ensure USA AI models do not penetrate the minds of the Chinese. Western AI models will be used as alternatives to conventional spying and espionage methods if China has to enact stringent rules and regulations like it did against USA apps like Google and Youtube. Saying that is probably underestimating the Chinese awareness of what the USA is trying to do. It is now apparent in countries elsewhere of cyberattacks using AI, though still not reported in China due to limited usage.

Having said that, China is making AI cheap and able to proliferate in the Global South, while USA AI models cannot compete to fabricate propaganda widely, owing to its high cost of usage and adoption in poorer countries. That is going to dictate who will win the propaganda war in the Global South in the coming years.

The USA can ban all Chinese AI models in the country, but China is probably unfazed. What do 340 million people matter in a world of 8.3 billion? Taking in the Europeans just make a little more of a billion of Anglo-Saxon Whites. In any case, the redneck and hillbillies have already been brainwashed for decades, so un-washing their thinking is difficult and impossible.

Let me talk about ASML, the maker of EUV machines, whose position is not infallible. ASML depends on a wide global supply chain of more than 5,000 companies, spread out over Europe, North America and Asia. China holds just one aspect of that supply chain - rare earth magnets. The direct consequential impact of sanctions on ASML by China may be minimal and tolerable with alternative sources of rare earth magnets for the Dutch company. However, some of those entities that provide the supply chain elements for EUV machines for ASML also depends on China's rare earth. So, it is going to be who is the final arbiter of who gets to be punished more severely eventually and indirectly.

ASML will never reveal the shortcomings of its supply chain. Moreover, China just needs time to overcome its chip-making reliance on ASML. The estimate is that China will be able to commercially produce its EUV machines by 2030. That is just four years away as against the prediction of a ten-year lag time. We shall see.
