Scott Bessent is going to collapse the Iranian regime with more sanctions after failing militarily by assassinating the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Desperation knows no bounds.
After more than 45 years of sanctions by the USA, Iran is still standing stronger than ever. Russia, the most sanctioned country in the world today is still going about its business, un-collapsible. Cuba, North Korea and Myanmar have been under sanctions for decades with no sign of a regime change happening or collapsing. Maybe, the USA will collapse before them, with all the economic problems surfacing. Servicing of its monstrous debt costs more than its military outlay, although Trump is trying to spend more on the USA military to increase the debt further. Talk about a drowning man clutching at a straw.
Scott Bessent is warning countries once again about 'either with the US-arse or against the US-arse'. I wonder how many countries went to the USA to kiss Trump's arse since his tariff threat. Must be so many that his arse has grown out of proportion and is the new butt of jokes on social media.
Scott Bessent is asking China to help with the USA sanctions on Iran. Trying to create animosity between Beijing and Tehran must be his objective. The same as trying to split the alliance between Moscow and Beijing over the years. Oh yes, China trusts Iran more than the USA and would not do that for sure. After all, Iran has never threatened China, has oil that China wanted, while the USA has been throwing brickbats against China in every direction. Scott Bessent must think that the Chinese are as dumb as the USA rednecks and hillbillies, falling for his lies and empty threats.

Trump is twitting that Iran is collapsing. The same twitting since day one. This must be the same echo in the chamber when massive sanctions were erected against Russia four years ago. Russia was supposed to collapse and the Ruble turned to rubbles. Russia was touted to be completely isolated and the whole world was supposed to turn against Russia. What happened? Sure, the Ruble has depreciated today, but that goes for every other country including Japan, India and Indonesia that are doing even worse.
Scott Bessent is talking about 'economic D-Day' for Iran, even gloating about those sanctions having already yielded results. How did he know the yielded results when those further sanctions are not even imposed yet? These morons really have great foresight spouting nonsense while working blindly.
Scott Bessent is also threatening the world about secondary sanctions if they do not follow the USA by sanctioning Iran. If that fails, how about 'university' sanctions too, lol. The progression is ironic - from primary sanctions to secondary sanctions with university sanctions the next leap forward.
Meanwhile, Iran has also threatened retaliation against any country that follows the USA sanctions on Iran. Iran is not all about following the footsteps of NATO - No Action Talk Only. They always made good on their threats.
What about countries continuing to deal with Iran, like China, Russia and those countries in BRICS, and what is the USA going to do? By all means impose secondary sanctions on them, but countries in BRICS have been threatened enough and just have to stop dealing with the USA, and trade more among themselves. The Global South market is multiple times bigger than the USA and its doggies. When that happens, the sanctioning country is going to sanction itself and the collapse is going to be faster when completely isolated.
The rest of the world just have to take a leaf from the Canadians, by standing up to the bully and find ways to isolate its economy from the USA. Succumbing means allowing the USA to continue to threaten to no end, just like trade wars and tariffs.
Do not assume that all these sanctions against Iran and any secondary sanctions against other countries does not harm to the USA. Iran just has to keep a stranglehold on the Strait of Hormuz and oil prices will continue to remain high. As Iran has already warned, those countries that follow the USA in imposing economic sanctions on Iran will risk retaliation by Iran, with oil shipments not going through the Strait of Hormuz and Bab Al Mandab for them. Think about that.
Scott Bessent orders countries not to sell USA bonds. He is now begging countries to buy USA Treasuries.
Now, gloating about what the USA is going to do with Iran's gold, cryptos and other assets, do we honestly think countries are going to do as he wanted, knowing that holding those assets is going to be a liability in days to come.
Only those with stupidity with no cure will listen to his begging. Oops, the UK obviously falls into that category. Can I just close my case?

Bessent is as notorious as Trump, perhaps using his bankrupting of his fund and scamming his investors. In the aftermath of his funds going under, he remains a billionaire, just like Trump. How he did it to run down his fund from US$5 billion to just under US$500 million is a mystery. But no one bothered to ask the questions, same as with Trump.
Which is how the USA has so many billionaires. The all look after each other, you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. It all boils down to all the campaign donations when election comes around. The poor do not donate to campaigns, so think about that.
