Kim Jong Un is now helping Russia with troops and weapons. Is Trump going to persuade Kim to dump Putin for him? Kim has more trust in Putin than Trump, whose gloating about good relations with Kim is just fanciful thinking. Trump is a great inventor of lies of every shape and size.
Perhaps Trump is thinking of persuading Kim to de-nuclearize once again, a third bite of the cherry. What else is there to talk about anyway? Another distraction to uphold his November mid-term election? Kim is smarter than Trump and de-nuclearization for North Korea is a red line. Three generations of the Kim family tried very hard to get the nuke under severe sanctions and is not going to be conned by the super-conman of six bankruptcies fame. De-nuclearization means the end of the Kim dynasty, whatever Trump tried to con Kim into believing that he will let Kim remain in power.
Trump can keep conning his MAGA base and the inbred rednecks and hillbillies, but the world is getting wiser. Lying all the time whenever he opens his motor mouth is not doing him any good. Crying wolf too often will not stand him in good stead.
Oh, just not to forget North Korea's comment that 'Trump's attempt to cut back military drills with South Korea is not worth commenting on'. That is a loud declaration that will surely deflate Trump's ego. Trump thinks that such a move will make his attempt to talk to Kim easier. I do not think Kim is going to take the bait.
