Indonesia is using the Indian modus operandi in its economic gymnastic, especially its GDP growth. Indonesia is following the Indian formula of seizing foreign investments when the occasion arises by changing the rules and amending laws.

The rupiah has fallen into unknown territory, just like India. Prabowo Subianto is telling the Indonesians that a falling rupiah does not affect most of Indonesia's poor because they do not use US$. Prabowo does not look capable of doing what the previous President, Joko Widodo, did in maintaining stability and managing relations with China and USA.
