In the last change of PM, the PM in waiting were the Ah Seng, Ah Beng and Ah Heng. When Lawrence Wong is next to pass the baton, the PM in waiting will likely still be the Ah Seng, Ah Beng and Ah Heng. This pattern or model of changing PM could be the reason for Singapore's success for the last 60 years, and may go on for many more years to come.
Would there be a day when the PM in waiting will not be the Ah Seng, Ah Beng and Ah Heng? The Ah Seng, Ah Beng and Ah Heng will think so, taking it for granted that this is the accepted and proven formula. The question is that this formula is not cast in stone, like the number of years of seat warming before being promoted to full ministers. Things can change depending on the circumstances and the realities on the ground, and the disease called stupidity has no cure.
Under what circumstances will the PM in waiting not be the Ah Seng, Ah Beng and Ah Heng? It can happen in the future that the names of the PM in waiting be all aliens, foreigners, names that are unfamiliar to Singaporeans. The question is when and not that it will not happen.
One critical change to the Singapore political system can quickly change this magic formula of Singapore's success. If by hook or by crook, or by stupidity, or by designed, a foreigner, oops a new citizen, becomes the PM, it is quite possible and very likely that the PM in waiting will not be another Ah Seng, Ah Beng and Ah Heng. Politics is for political animals that are cunning and know how to sweet talk the naive Ah Seng, Ah Beng and Ah Heng to be on their sides. When that day comes, when it happens, the Ah Seng, Ah Beng and Ah Heng will be lan lan and asking how come like that? Why they no longer be the choice for PM in waiting?
The stupidity of Singaporeans is legendary, if you see how happy they are 'integrating' the foreigners into the island, how ready they are to appoint new citizens to important and sensitive positions that rightly, strategically and for the national interest of Singapore, shall be reserved for Singaporeans. Many such positions have already slipped into the hands of foreigners, oops, new citizens. It will be so easy for the position of the PM to be slipped into the hands of foreigners without the Ah Seng, Ah Beng and Ah Heng knowing why, when they are very busy counting their bonuses or how much more is needed to buy the next GCB.
What will happen to Singapore when that day comes? What will be the fate of the original Singaporeans when foreigners take over political power in Singapore? Oops, I mean new citizens. Will they ask the silly Ah Seng, Ah Beng and Ah Heng to go back to China?

High possibility that the next PeeAyam maybe a foreigner or newly minted rojak sheeples. They may even change the rule to allow a Neh neh become Pee Ayam (sori no offence ). They may not asked the newly appointed PeeAyam to go back like the Kiwi-Land AmP but they wud even beg him/her to lead them cause noboli else wanna do the dirty job ho boh...
Why not Ahmad, Ali or Abdullah also? Thought the white told sillyporean that we are all sillyporean without any race. So we can even have Ah-no-neh, Kimchi or even chap-chen as pm in waiting. If the 65% sillyporean still do not understand that the politician are their servants, then anything could be possible.
Better still, invite UMNO over to show us the ropes.
