Never antagonize the Teochew people. The PAP should have learnt its lesson in Hougang, a predominantly Teochew enclave, now the beacon of the Opposition Worker's Party, spreading it wings in Eastern Singapore. Those wards with hanging fruits in the East are still voting PAP, but some are very close contests.

I want to laugh at the antics of the PAP, trying to put Teochew candidates in Hougang to try to wrestle the ward away from WP. Many came as sacrificial lambs for the slaughter. Hougang voters can see the wood for the trees as to what is genuine and what is superficial.

Now, Hougang has a PAP candidate working the ground, a lawyer and a Marshall as well, lol. The question is whether the ground is going to be converted.
