Why do some local writers, reporters and journalists always intent on writing disparaging and damaging articles against China and the Chinese people?

In an article in the Straits Times on Tuesday, 30th December, 2025, in the Opinion Section, a writer by the name of Tan Dawn Wei, a seeming anti-China writer in her article :  "China's Diplomatic Year : A Calculated Gamble." seemed to put China in a bad light in a nuance aspect though couched with a veil threat against China. This is a dilemma Singapore must solve before these anti-China writers post a real existential threat to Singapore's survival.

First we have a politician telling China to forgive Japan for its brutal war and barbaric atrocities on China and the Chinese people during the Second World War. And now we have local reporters and journalists as mirrors of CIA painting China's image in a bad light.

Now what is going on? Aren''t they exposing Singapore to the danger of geopolitics, especially to US-CIA  penchant for engineering violence, regime change, killings, murders and assassinations.

What is the writer implying in her article about China? It appears to be a back stabbing of China, implying China as a trouble maker, an aggressor and so on. It reads off as part of CIA's agenda at play.

At the end of the day all traitors and USA/CIA secret and espionage agents and saboteurs will have to pay a painful price.

Has the writer any evil intent? The article seems to be falsely accusing China of using economic and military coercion against Japan without reference to China's rightful rection to Japan's stated intention to interfere militarily in a China-Taiwan renewal of the yet unfinished Chinese civil war which is a Chinese internal affair that brooks no foreign interference.

It appears that she and CIA are trying to tell Asia and the World that China is not fit to lead in the multipolar world. Is she trying to pour cold water on China's image as a leader in a multipolar world and in the BRICS and countries of the South?

In her article there is also a nuance insidious implication that China's 5% improvement in GDP is a sign of economic failure. What is she driving at? She also looked askance at China's Military Parade of 3rd September, 2025. Has she got a problem? Or does she need to see a psychiatrist?

Has this anything to do with someone dangling the US$300 million bounty for propaganda purposes? Hard to imagine it can escape the suspicion.

But nevertheless, foreign travelers to China and Rednote are doing a great job countering for China. Everything is free, beneficial for China without the CCP needing to fork out a cent. One side is losing credibility despite having to fork out an arm and a leg, while the other side is using reality to convince the fence sitters. Who wins is clear for all to see.

The anti-China writers, reporters and journalist are losing readers with their bias agenda, losing eyeballs, losing credibility and losing the ability to turn around those non-believers. They can keep up the banging against the wall and worse come to the worse, just lick the wall.
