China is sending Western manufacturing back to the stone age. This is a godsend for poor countries, being able to afford much cheaper goods than continuing to be ripped off by Western manufacturers. Quality may be lower, but it is still a choice that consumers have the privilege of choosing. Trying to create hurdles for consumers and foreign manufacturers entering Western markets to compete does not solve the problem.
The USA and the West can erect all kinds of hurdles for Chinese products entering their market, but how big is the USA and Europe in terms of population compared to the Global South. China and India alone have bigger markets than the combined population of the Anglo-Saxon White countries combined. Africa in total has a population of about 1.4 billion.
Now people are realizing who made those branded bags and how much profit high-end chains are making. It is all going to end. It is for the betterment of the world of make-believe morphing into reality.
If the West cannot make things cheaper for the poorer countries, why blame China? Isn't globalization a means to extract economies of scale and comparative advantages? It was touted to be the best when the West could outsource and compete, but not so when they fail to match. Why did Apple site its manufacturing base in China if not for its cheaper wages, supply chains and higher skilled workers, thereby turning out iPhones that enabled Apple to reap all the monstrous profits. Does the USA blame Steve Jobs or Apple?
Many Made in China products are very much better than made in the West. Yangwang9 Chinese supercar at US$500k outperformed a US$4m Bugatti. Chinese EVs are better than anything Europe could produce. The Obsolete American ICE cars belonged to the museum.
Boeing is a very dangerous aircraft to fly, crashing now and then. Other than the hype, many Chinese mobile phones are better than iPhones....
I refer to Virgo's comment above on why Kishore is casting pearls to swine. This is the same reason why I rarely engage in debates with other bloggers.
The believers would want to believer whatever they want to believe. No amount of facts will change them until they discovered by themselves that they are wrong.
So just make your points. People can agree or disagree. There is no need to convince those that did not want to know the truth. They have their own truth, alternate truth.
The white men have massacred the most people in the world, coloured and whites, and still doing it in Gaza, the Middle East and Africa. Now wanting to start another round in Venezuela. China just chalked up a US$1 trillion trade surplus over 11 months of 2025, all with trade with the USA dwindling fast, down 29%. But according to anti-China sycophants, China is collapsing.

China is doing what it thinks is good for the Chinese people and for the world. The whole world is watching. Those that think the Chinese model is good for them they can follow China's path. Those that think the American model is good for them, they can follow the American path.
The result of which path is better is getting clearer by the day. Why argue, what is the point of arguing who is right or wrong? You have to live with your decision for good or bad.
It is the same thing as the sycophants that screamed China is collapsing everyday. What matters is the end result. What is real is real.
The world is changing so fast. In 5 or 10 years, the verdict will be out there for all to see. Maybe even earlier. Winning an argument by false premises does not mean that you are right. Just step back, watch, be a spectator. No need to stick out your neck and insist it must be this way or that way.
