The Chinese called the Dutch Government's action an act of piracy, a point that stood out in relation to the behavior of the Dutch in the past of seizing territories that do not belong to them.
The Dutch Government is now more or less begging China for talks on the issue and China is going to roast the Netherlands for sure, if China is to relent to the holding of such talks with the Dutch Government. China is already pissed off with the attitude of ASML over the sanctions imposed on EUV lithography machines and cutting off servicing of those machines already sold to China, which is making China extremely angry. This is the Dutch Government adding further animosity from China and China is all out to extract the pound of flesh from the Dutch Government going forward.

China's Xi skips congratulatory message to new Japan PM Takaichi. Premier Li Qiang responds instead amid unease over new right-leaning leader - Nikkei
Thot the same thing happened with Singapore . . .
Xi congratulated Taiwan's opposition KMT new leader, Cheng Li-wun, a firebrand pro-China advocate.
I do not think she would last.
Japan changes PM like changing underwear, LOL.
She looks weird.
