Thanks Anon 10.34 for providing the background of how the credit for the peace deal between Thailand and Cambodia had been hijacked by the USA. Stupid Malaysia is a shame for ASEAN, having to buckle under USA demands.
Having said that, Canada is still a White men's country, and the final outcome may be that it will still support the Anglo-Saxon White clique when the shit hits the fan. The case of Meng Wanzhou is testimony to my thoughts. China must attempt to see the forest from the trees and do what it deems best.

Was the fallout between Mahathir and Anwar decades ago anything to do with their differences over bailouts by the IMF, which we know is used by the USA to exert control over Malaysia?
Anwar got what he wanted, 0% tariff from US. What did Sinkie & Pinoy get? only can suck thumb. Anwar had been in politic for donkey years, so don't assume he do not know what he is doing. As for Sinkie & Pinoy leader, they can only do as told by their master.
I thought the USA treated enemies better than friends, according to Henry Kissinger. Now I really understand.
