Night life in China's second tier and 5th tier cities, Guangzhou广州 and Yangshou阳朔

 

Above are 3 pics of Guangzhou City in mid Oct, after China's Golden Week. The time was about 6.30pm on a Saturday in Beijing Road. The lower pic is inside a shopping mall. There were people everywhere. The city is so vibrant. Where are the signs of an economy in trouble? The Chinese people are enjoying themselves with their newfound prosperity and a peaceful and safe lifestyle.

The above pics are taken at about 8pm in Yangshou, a 4th or 5th tier city in Guilin, Guangxi province. Taken also after the Golden Week. This is their equivalent of Orchard Road in this little city. The streets were filled with massive crowds relaxing and enjoying themselves on a Saturday evening, about 8pm. Signs of prosperity and people having a good time are everywhere. 

Lower pic is an outdoor dining area where people are enjoying their dinner and drinking their beer. These are proofs that all is well in China, to the disappointment of pro American reporters badmouthing China as an economy in trouble.
