The reason why the Americans could land on the moon in 1969 and then many more times in the 1970s is not because of technology. It is about collective will, as I highlighted above in bold. The Americans just wanted to beat the Russians to the moon, and they did it.
After that, they relaxed and forgot about everything, lost all the blue prints, all the files, all the technology. Now they could not find any of the records that could help them to rebuild the same rockets to the moon. They would have to start all over again from scratch.
Now the Chinese are going to the moon. Not to worry. When the Americans want to beat the Chinese to the moon, when they collectively decided that it has to be done, it would be done, got technology or no technology does not matter.
The failure of Artemis from lifting off is not because the Americans have no technology to do it. It is because they have yet to collectively think that they have to do it. Wait for a few more years, wait for the Americans to want to do it, collectively, and an American miracle will happen. Another anomally would happen. They will get to the moon before the Chinese, just the same way they beat the Russians to it.
PS. For the moment, no country would make an official statement that the Americans are lying. They can only say it if someone has gone to the moon, to the sites to confirm that the Americans had not been there. This is a scientific and reasonable way to approach this belief.
The truth would need to be confirmed by facts, not beliefs. It can go either way until then.
My guess, the cake mud footprints were the giveaways. The moon is dry, dry dust could not create cake foot prints. Just examine the area around the footprint and ask how is this possible.

If it were at all possible to land and takeoff from the moon in the 60's with that kind of technology available, by now humankind would be making trips to the moon as regularly as taking a bus to Orchard Road

The Americans presented many countries with their so called moon rock, but turned out to be fakes when put under tests.
That explained why they are begging China to give them some of the moon samples China brought back recently, the real stuff.
It also explained why they are so desperate to want to go to the moon 'again' before China gets there. They should simply tell China we had been there, no big deal. There is nothing there, no need to waste time going there.

And the USA is trying to be cosy with Maduro of Venezuela, hoping he will relent with some extra oil. Would Maduro really fall for the hypocritic's yo-yo antics? Certainly not!

The americans have been conning and coercing the Arabs to keep pumping their oils for sale while they kept their oil fields for the future. They had bought a lot of Arab oil and stored in used coal mines as reserves.
The Arabs are not stupid but had no choice then except to obey and be exploited. Today they can cooperate and seek protection from Russia and China. Iran is also seeking protection from Russia and China in case of a nuclear attack by the Americans/Israelis gangsters.
Now OPEC+ openly go against the Americans and cut oil production to save their oil reserves and to raise price instead of lowering to feed the Americans and the Europeans with cheap oil.
And the Americans are still stealing oil from Syria and Iraq.
Right, imagine the Saudis buying oil from Russia, at big discounts, for their own domestic consumption, while exporting their own oil at very high price to Europe.
Since the USA and EU have sanctioned Russian oil exports to their European allies, what Saudi Arabia is doing is not illegal, as they are not exporting the Russian oil to others. Hence the USA and Europeans have nothing to say.
China is also buying Russian oil and gas for it's own domestic consumption. China ironically is also importing USA oil at low prices and re-exporting them to Europe at big profits. The beauty of all this is that some shipments do not even have to go to China, but redirected immediately to a European port from the USA, saving freight charges even more for China. This USA sale of oil to China was covered in a long term agreement between the USA and China, with substantial penalties in default.
Both China and Saudi Arabia, and also India, are reaping in the profits of their oil exports to Europe. And there is nothing the USA or Europe can do. They have not done anything to disrupt the sanctions on Russia by re-exporting the Russian oil.

The long term oil agreement between China and the US was the best deal Trump wrangled out of China. In that deal, Trump thought he could lock down China on a long term purchase of American oil at a very good price then. So he included a very hefty penalty clause for breaking the deal. It was Trump's Trade war easy to win 101.
Now China is laughing all the way to the bank. Buying cheap American oil to sell to the American allies in Europe for a huge profit at today's inflated price.
Xi would send a big Christmas present to Trump for this oil deal. It was so well thought out and schemed by Trump, the world's best deal maker.
