Africa today is not short of wise and well educated leaders. Some of their speeches are so well crafted, their thinking so intellectual, but barely reported in the media.
Sure, Africa still has many dictators ruling the length and breadth of many countries on the continent, but most are more enlightened individuals that are less corrupt. The West supported most of these dictators in the past, because they were using them to control the ground. They therefore closed one eye to the atrocities that those dictators committed. Of course the West will deny, and claim they do not support dictators. But just look at their support for Saudi Arabia and you can see the double standard being followed.
It is a good sign that African leaders have taken a role to speak at the UN and other important venues. These are important indicators of where they are taking their country and who they are trusting. Africa is no more the 'Dark Continent' as they called it in the past. And African leaders are now determined to ensure progress for their country, like all other races of the world. And China is playing a pivotal role in that dream.

Well done, Africa! I read many of your countries' comments about how the Whites have treated the African in the past, and even in today's terms. They are very direct and to the point. This is how the ordinary Africans want to be treated. So the Whites has better wake up and stop bullying the Africans. Otherwise, one fine day, the Africans will collectively give the Whites a piece of their own medicine!
One thing strikes me that Western MSM are using Black Africans as reporters to front their attacks on African countries, asking maliciously tainted questions about human rights violations, hoping it will register more effectively on global audiences.
The way that African leaders in Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda have done to shut them up is indeed very telling about the intelligence of the new brand of African Leaders leading their country. The USA and the West intending to split the Africans over human rights have been rendered ineffective. Gone are the days that African corrupt leaders would grovel at the feet of the Whites. Africa has woken up.
By the way, they USA even tried using a Black spokesperson to do their dirty laundry washing. From white lies to black?
Watch this video by 'Wave Media' on Youtube titled 'When the West visits Africa, they talk about China'.
It was really an eye opener for me learning about how China, even during the 50s and 60s when it was still a poor country, still went out of it's way to help African countries and making substantial sacrifice in the process.
It really sums up why African countries are now welcoming the Chinese investments because they said that 'a friend in need is a friend' indeed. They remember the help that the Chinese gave them, wholeheartedly without conditions.
All the West ever did in colonising the African countries was to steal their resources like Uranium, and having military bases there, not to protect the Africans, but to protect their interest in those essential minerals all over Africa, from the Africans themselves and now from the Chinese, they claimed.
