Sino India Border - India's position based on official secret Indian govt papers

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaM0C9NunEg

'In a 42-minute interview to Karan Thapar for The Wire, based on his recent book ‘Nehru, Tibet and China’, published during the dark days of the pandemic and which hasn’t got the attention it deserves, Mr. Bhasin discusses in great detail, first, India’s stand and Nehru’s multiple mistakes on the western border and, then, separately, India’s stand and mistakes on the eastern border.'   The Wire

The video explained the root cause of the Sino Indian Border probems using facts and official Indian documents.  All scholars interested in this issue would be enlightened by what is being presented and would look at the problems from a well informed perspective, minus all the emotions, prejudices and disinformation.

Be educated by Indian scholars, Karan Thapar and Avtar Singh Bhasin

The discussion in the video was conducted honestly by two rational and objective Indian scholars in a clear and distinct manner. The facts presented simply said that the border issues could easily be settled in India's favour. China was willing to do so and had offered the favourable solution to India many times during Nehru and Zhou Enlai's time.

India has been stuck by the past positions Nehru took without wanting to acknowledge the geographical and historical facts and has since been held prisoners of Nehru's obstinacy. All Indians must view this to understand the truths from the Indian side and free themselves from deep seated false perceptions and emotions of the border issues. Only when the Indians are brave enough to face the truths, that they are the ones that are complicating the problem, only when Indians are honest to themselves and free themselves from the past and misconceptions, the border can easily be resolved in India's favour.

China was willing to concede many points to India. Would India rise to the occasion, be rational and wise, to settle the border problems once and for all instead of being trapped by their own misrepresentation and public opinions, by facing the truths?  India cannot continue to live in their own lies to hate China for all the wrong reasons.

The truths hurt, but it is time to face them squarely like a man.

India politicians like to talk big. Physically, India is only one-third the size of China (3.287 million km² versus 9.597 million km²) even though demographically their population sizes are almost equal.

After viewing the video, one would be very clear who were the honest and generous party, who were the mischievous one trying to take advantage of the other party and spreading lies and misinformation.

The good thing about this video is that the official records and statements are available for scrutiny and the problems can be easily resolved if the Indians are honest and want to settle it. Since the time of Zhou Enlai in the 50s, China had offered very generous terms to the Indians but Nehru probably thought he could take advantage of a very weak China and could have the cake and eat it, taking over Aksai Chin and the eastern region as well.

There must be many honest and wise Indian leaders that could look at the historical facts and get this settle amicably for the good of both countries. But after living with their own lies for so long, it is very difficult to tell the Indian public that they were wrong all the while and China was the good and generous guy.

Would the Indians own up and say they were mistaken and go back to the negotiating table sincerely to break the impasse? To do that, Modi has a gigantuan task of explaining to the Indian public of the truths and to drop all the misplaced hate for China and Chinese from perpetuating decades of disinformation.

China is willing to concede on many points in their border disputes with India, but sites like WION and the Print will surely used that to blow their trumpet and claim that China has now bowed to India. Indians are like that.

The Indians are very sore that China has moved so far ahead in economic growth, infrastructure development and living standards, that they must make some sort of stand, like the border dispute, to show their illusory power. They are trying desperately to play catch up, but unfortunately their claim to being the world's biggest democracy is holding them back, with the Government being held hostage by voters. Few things can move without protest. They prefer to stick to old traditions, like bathing in the polluted Ganges to clean their soul. Wonder how it works?

That brings me closer to home. Mahathir claimed that he was quoted out of context, that Malaysia must demand the return of Singapore and Riau Islands. Indonesian Foreign Ministry shot back and said that Senior Malaysian Politicians should not make baseless claims that could harm relations. That caused the backtrack by the big mouth that he was quoted out of context.

Think of it. Singapore was never stolen from Malaysia by anybody, not LKY, and should never be returned to Malaysia by demand. Singapore was kicked out of Malaysia, by the Malays in Power then, and assumed that without the Malaysian mainland and water shortage, Singapore would surely collapse.

Having started almost on equal footing, Singapore's economy is almost on par with Malaysia today, and it's currency three times the ringgit in value. Now that has made the Mad-hatter green with envy time and again, and he is trying again to stoke the flames of enmity between the two countries. Years ago he used the water threat against LKY and failed. Then, not long ago, he claimed that Singapore's development and progress was due to drinking Malaysian water. Wonder why Malaysians drinking Malaysian water every day and still could not progress as much. Just drinking Malaysian water without hard work will never make Singapore what it is today.

The man who did Malaysia 'in' over the decades was non other than Mad Hatter himself, who promoted the crutch mentality with his unending New Economic Policies favouring the Malays, which still persist until today and will last well into the future. The Malays have been rendered lame down the generations and leaders grow rich only by slight of hand, not ability.

As an afterthought, I read that the Johore Ruler had threatened Putra Jaya that Johor will go independent if Putra Jaya still treat Johore less favourably in development than other Malaysian States. That may be an empty threat, made many a time, but it tells the whole story.

India historically mired itself in religious, caste, ethnicity and other
cultural issues. So
for it to further mire itself with China in territorial claim over barren and uninhabitable territory is most foolish to say the Least.
With over many thousand years of peaxeful co-existence,
it is only good and wise
for lndia to maintain the Cordial Relationship.

May the Two be good neighbours and live in peace.

Namaste.

First they sell the fear that falling population is not good for a country, eg Japan.

Then they sell the fear that rising population is not good for the world with not enough food production to match.

If they reduce the world population by half, how many countries will be left to survive if they do survive without the population density to move the economy?

Now, which the fxxk is the right choice?

Sg can consider joining back Johore but must on some conditions. Johore should declares independent from Malaysia, Johore sultan should be rename as president, Johore should rename to a hybrid name making out of Singapore and Johore as reference.

If people want to get a better perspective and understanding of the China - India border issue they must read this book, " China - India War , 1962 ", Author Neville Maxwell.

Neville Maxwell gives a very detail account of the conflict starting with Anglo-Saxon England thieving and pinching of Chinese territories starting from the 1830s that culminates with the illegal and illicit unilateral British imposition of the McMahon Line, an artificial and unfair boundary that took away tens of thousands of square miles of Chinese territories both in south western China of the Arsaichin region and the south east Tibet region of the Tawang province.

The India - China border issue is part of the West, the Anglo-Saxon US and UK geopolitical divide and rule strategy to pitch India against China so as to weaken and contain China. Behind the scene the whites are always plodding India to adopt a tough and obstinate policy against China in the border issue. Even if China is willing to concede more territorial advantage to India should a peace treaty be signed the evil Anglo-Saxons US and UK will always psycho the Indians not to accept such a treaty. If the border issue is allowed to fester and a reasonable peace treaty is not signed, India and China will have plenty to lose and not the malicious warmongering West led by the Anglo-Saxon Americans and the British.

China and lndia should just let the Uninhabitable Border as a natural
neutral border.
Both long-live
Civilizations should be old enohgh to understand the Wisdom of living in peace.

I tend to agree that to have a 'buffer zone' aka a border of delineation of some sort is a good idea. After all that region in the Himalayas looks a difficult and uninhabitable region.

The Anglo Saxons always leave behind flash points that they can exploit in times of need. Israel plonked in the Middle East is a perfect example. Then there is the Korean Peninsula and Kashmir as well. And they also cultivate countries like Taiwan, Japan and South Korea for the purpose of taking on China. Now adding Australia to the evil agenda.

The Indian leaders know about the lies they spread against China but refused to tell the truth. They played on the sentiments and emotions of the Indian masses to hate China and always flame it to control the masses, to direct their hate towards China and Chinese.

When would the lying Indian leaders confess and tell the truth to the Indian masses?

Truth everywhere and in everything needs revival in every aspect before it completely dies.
