I just saw a video clip of a maid walking peacefully in a residential estate with two little children. They stopped outside a house and looking inside innocently.
Then a black dog rushed out, wagging its tail, looking friendly, and dashed towards the smaller child. It then started to devour the child while the maid tried to ward it off. The owner charged out to restrain the dog but in vain. A passer by took a board to hit the dog. But it refused to let go and continued devouring the child, with its tail wagging.
By the time they separated the dog, the child was lifeless.
This dog attacked the child like it was a plaything, a doll. It was so horrifying and painful to watch.
DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN IN HDB ESTATES OR ANYWHERE IN SINGAPORE. DOGS ARE WILDLIFE AND CAN KILL!

Not to worry local dog very timid
My neighbour black dog also very aggressive. The owner even bought a doll for the dog. The dog will bark and at the same time biting the doll trying to tear it into pieces
Man's best friend, big or small. As long as it is well trained. In many other countries dogs, big or small, are allowed. So the same should be for Singapore. In HDB apartments, if the dogs are well trained (quiet) and clean there should be no problems. Some dog lover would agree with me, but unfortunately there may be many in Singapore who will disagree.

Is this mandatory to own/keep a "big" dog?
Is there a certification of obedience?
How many owner will train the dog himself/herself and/or paying a professional dog trainer to ?
An animal is an animal, and when hell break lose, no amount of training is obeyed.
Some unfortunate people will be mauled by the Dog
some days.
Some human are "well trained" too. Yet they commit horrible crime.
Some humans who are consistently and persistently violatingthe laws have been very well trained too, eg police, judges, consultants and politicians.
This is especially so for those holding high political positions and aspiring political hacks/hags. They intentionally violated the laws, even though they know fully well about the laws that they have been violating. These are the incorrigible ones.
