The US Navy's 5th Fleet,
led by USS Nimitz Aircraft Carrier Group, joined by warships from Australia, India and Japan, moved back into the Gulf region on Wednesday, two days before the murder of Iran's chief scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was carried out, cannot be just a simple coincidence. It has to be planned and coordinated in advance.

Probably, its real purpose was to inject a US Navy SEAL Team into Iran to carry out the assassination and then retrieve the team out quickly and safely.

(Remember: How a US SEAL Team murdered Osama bin Laden in Pakistan?)

The Naval Commander Rebecca Rebarich, a spokeswoman for the US 5th Fleet, said that the return Wednesday of the US Carrier Group led by the nuclear-powered USS Nimitz was unconnected to any "specific threats."

Of course, the USS Nimitz Carrier Group was there unconnected to any specific threats because it was there to carry out a mission.

"There were no specific threats that triggered the return of the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group," she said in a statement.

Yes, it was a planned move, not a reaction to specific threats.

"The return of Nimitz is centred on maintaining CENTCOM's (US Central Command) ability to remain postured and prepared to help preserve regional stability and security," Rebarich added.

Yes, now we know it was there to "preserve regional stability and security", knowing in advance that the assassination of Iran's chief nuclear scientist Fakhrizadeh would definitely incur a response from Iran and tensions would increase manifold.

The 5th Fleet's Twitter account showed pictures of the Nimitz's air wing conducting flight operations there on Friday.

China's New Frontiers - Moon Base China

China has just launched a space mission to the Moon to collect rock samples for further research and study.

Her robotic spaceship Chang'er-5 departed the Wenchang Launch Complex on a Long March 5 Rocket early on thus morning.

The spaceship is expected to return to Earth in mid-December.

More than 40 years has past since news about the US and USSR supposedly brought back "rocks" and "soil" from the Moon for analysis.

This mission is an extremely complex feat to be attained, if successful. I am sure it will be.

Just an excerpt from the high court hearing yesterday, the first day of the defamation law suit taken by PM Lee against TOC's Editor Terry Tsu:

Regarding the Demolition of LKY's House that LKY and His Beloved Wife had wanted it demolished:

"The reason why I did not want it to be left to the three children to decide is that it would have become even if the three children could agree to knock it down.

“It would have been very difficult for us to go against the public pressure and say our father left it to us and we have decided to knock it down, not putting aside the possibility that the three children could not agree,” PM Lee explained.

Explaining why he was reluctant to demolish the property, PM Lee said that if the siblings insist on tearing down the building, it will be redeveloped into a more dense property, adding that he believes it is “unwearable”.

“If we insist on knocking down (the property), the house (will) develop and as a result, benefit financially from it because redeveloping doesn’t just mean putting back the house and renting it out.

“But redeveloping really means developing it into denser developed, paying development charges – including the plot ratio, building several units on what is now one piece of land,” the PM said during cross-examination by the defence's lawyer, Lim Tean.

Don't you think it is fishy that the USA and USSR have totally abandoned all activities on the moon? Were there any progress after so many years of wild claims about their feats on the moon, going to the moon?

Now with China going to the moon, the Americans suddenly wanted to go to the moon, but got no rockets to bring them there. How come, lost all the blue prints? Oh, all stolen by China, so now the Americans got no blue prints and no technology to go to the moon because all the blue prints and technology are now in China?

The lies of going and landing on the moon were so big and so ridiculous but no one was there to challenge their lies. They put up whatever they created and fabricated as moon landings and the rocks they picked from God knows where, claiming to be moon rocks, and presented to heads of states and sat guarded in national museums. When would these fake moon rocks be thrown out of the museums?

If they had the technology and had done it, it would be so easy to replicate the same models, even aged, to go to the moon. The old technology worked before didn't they, or did not work at all, all fakes and now abandoned with nothing to fall back on?

Go figure.

I can't understand the logic and reasoning. Can anyone understand what Hsien Loong was saying?

I too cannot make out what PM Lee was trying to say. He does not seem to be coherent even. There are also grammatical mistakes coming from a top ivy licked university.

I wonder how the judge is taking it? Can he comprehend what LHL is saying? If he could, then it is very fantastically wonderful.

We are all aware that both his mother and father had all along wished to have their house demolished after their death. This fact had been made known several times by LKY publicly, privately and also in his Last Will.

They did not mention what happened after the building was demolished. They did not say a single word about development. Nor about profits. They simply bequeathed the house to their eldest son, for whatever reasons known only to them and expected him to carry out their combined last wish.

But the eldest son sold the house to his younger and therefore received a hefty sum of money for it, from his brother. To me, this move seems very ought. I do not want to speculate the reason behind it. I can't read his mind.

But one fact stands out. In 2015, Inland Revenue announced that for every dollar one donates to charity, one will get $3 income tax relief. There was a substantial donation to charities from the proceeds of that sale. I forgot the exact amount. I think it was 50% of the sale price. This means, there was another hefty sum of benefits in terms of income tax relief.

This act of selling the house to his younger brother complicated the whole matter even further. Yet no one seems to talk about it in or out of the court?!

An I right or wrong?

If I am wrong in any way, I stand corrected, and I hereby apologise unreservedly.

LKY must be turning in his grave again. Each time his house is mentioned, discussed or publicised, his legacy is blemished again. It is better to let the house be demolished once and for all, and let the matter rest. This will help him rest in peace. Why?

WHY MUST THERE BE AN OBSTACLE ERECTED TO PREVENT HIS HOUSE FROM BEING DEMOLISHED IN ACCORDANCE WITH A DEAD FATHER'S AND DEAD MOTHER'S WISHES?

Isn't this very stupid, to say the least?

On this topic, it looks like the church mice are all keeping very quiet.

Only two chaps are trying to say something?

The rest are so, so, so afraid and frightened until not a small squeak can be heard?

Even the IBs are also shying away?

This is very surreal and uncanny.

Like watching a horror film?

Where got public pressure?

Who dare to pressurise the Multi-Millionaire Paymaster?

Tired of living?

Was there a referendum carried out nation-wide to show that there was public pressure to go against LKY's wish to demolish the house?

Or was it all just an overactive imagination of somebody or a few buddies?

The judge or Lim Tean could have asked the question to verify where the "public pressure" came from?

Too many daft and coward sillyzens.

Why must must the three children decide to knock it down or not?

They don't have to decide to knock it down.

The Father Of Singapore had already decided to knock it down.

It was stated very clearly, in no uncertain terms, that he wanted it to be DEMOLISHED AFTER HE IS DEAD.

Why must he create a burden for himself and then put the burden upon his own shoulders, when there was/is none in the first place?

How can such unreasoning reasoning hold any water in a Court of Law, especially so in the Court of Public Opinions = the modern-day Cyber Age's Court of the Common Laws?

Most of the ministers were handpicked and approved by LKY. They were his proteges, his students, LKY the master. Many would hold LKY in deference, just like loyal students would defer and respect their masters.

Is it true that these students no longer defer to their master after he is dead and would want to go against his wishes? Is this some kind of betrayal of the master, turning against the master?

Had
Lee Kuan Yew and his Wife nee Kwa Geok Choo wanted Number 38 Oxley Rise to be demolished,
they would have seen it to have it done when they were alive.
Be
reminded that members of the Lee First Familee including Lee Wei Ling, had bought multiple units at Nassim Jade.
Lee Kuan Yew and his Wife wanted to have Number 38 Oxley Rise demolished after their Deaths, may not be as sttaight-forward as said.
