A picture of truth

This picture is posted in Yahoo News.

As they said, a picture is worth a thousand words, or a picture does not lie. Take this picture as a mental exercise on the perceptions it creates on the readers and also the intent of the people putting up this picture. One can draw many conclusions from looking at it. Let me just throw up a few interpretations of this picture of members of the Select Committee on fake news.

A casual observer looking at this picture could form many impressions. One, the Indian community in Singapore is the majority ethnic group, or the Indians are the most powerful political community in Singapore. Chinese is a minority in Singapore. The readers could also be wondering why 3 Indians, highly qualified, a top lawyer and minister, another lawyer and a doctor, are just member of a committee headed by an aircraft technician/engineer. Should not the top notch lawyer/minister, the most qualified and most clever, the most powerful, be the chairman instead?

Of course a reader who is not informed of the big number of committee members may get away thinking that the Committee is small and likely be made up of the 4 members in the picture. The whole truth is that there were at least 13 members in the Committee.

A picture lies or can lie depending on the intent of the people putting up the picture and it can show half truth, select truth or to mislead the readers by what is being shown or what is being cropped out from the full picture. Remember all the pictures and articles about North Korea as recent as before the Kim Trump Summit, all telling a story of abject poverty, North Koreans dying of famine and under nourishment. Compare those sinister pictures and articles with what you see on Channel News Asia, the sparkling high rise buildings that put a shame to many Asian countries, and the well planned road network, parks, commercial and residential buildings.

The truth of a picture is as good as the saying, statistics lie and lie and lie if this is what the person behind them chose to do so.

And readers may even have different inferences from the expressions of the people in the picture to infer what is in their heads or from their eyes what are their agenda or intent.

The picture reminds me of a pic someone sent me recently. It was about a turtle sitting on top of a tall pole. It could not climb up the pole on its own. Someone had to put it there. The turtle also did not know why someone would put it on top of a pole and why it was there, to do what? It had no clue of what was happening around it.

Aiya, when you have a half dead left half screw to the Coffin joker as Chairman, what's you expect????

Even WP Sex-General in the Select community no whimper from him when Thum raised so many issues.

They don't call "SELECT" for nothing. Select means they SELECT those who are for them.

They can tell fibs but called others liars.

That's why lawyers are also called LIARS.

The tortoise with his head sticking out seems to be very angry, annoyed and very unhappy. Obviously, it is quite sick. Perhaps, suffering from an incurable disease and is dying.

Out of the Gang of Four, one is Chinese and three are Indians. This gives me an immediate impression that I am in an Indian dominated or controlled country. Only two races exist in this country. There are no other races. So, I conclude that the Indians must be controlling the country. Moreover, there is also an Indian President on top of that. Therefore, Singapore must be controlled be the Indians. The Chinese have been relegated to become a symbolic presence and are being overwhelmed by the Indians.

Significantly, the Malays, the people who originally owned Singapore and being the second largest group in the population. are being brushed aside. Totally, out of sight and out of mind. Even the Presidency which have been deliberately reserved for yhe Malays, have been high-jacked by the Indians.

All the above conclusions which I have made by looking at the picture, and more, tell me the sad state of affairs for the Malays and Chinese.

When are they going to wake up their fxxking idea?

The picture revealed the body language of a black cobra on the verge of spitting venom at a victim and another one showing the body language of an ass-licker singing the virtue of his master. A picture reveals candid truth and the saying "Truth is stranger than fiction" completes the picture. Singaporeans can expect a plethora of such pictures fit for sore eyes once the law on faked news is passed.

Tortoise sounds like torture.
Tortoise likes mosquito blood.
Torture also like to extract blood.

Two forms of torture:
One physical,
The other mental.

Physical torture can be seen.
Therefore, cannot use for mass torture because people will revolt.

Mental torture cannot be seen, difficult to detect;
So usually used by power-crazy monsters for mass torture on many people at the same time.

What are mental tortures?

The most subtle and effective form of mental torture is brain-washing or social engineering. The objective is to change and mould your behaviour.

Why mould your behaviour?
Usually for ease of control and total domination.

Once you are under the spell of a certain belief, you are hooked for life.

And you don't even realise it.
You simply own the imputed or implanted belief as though it is yours.

When people confront or criticise you, you get very irritated or angry. Why?

Because you are hooked to that belief like a drug addict.
So, it is very difficult for you to kick the habitual "belief".
Some will even sacrifice their life for that hooked "belief".

That's why you find people willingly submit themselves to compulsory conscription.

That's why you find people willingly donate 10% or more of their monthly to the religious organizations or to "charitable" organizations.

So, you now know why 69% are hooked?

"Hello Bro, that's you may be wrong.
Bouts in the Kasinose arenas drove away Dementia and your senility further down the road. You have so many Angkors and Aunties in the 70s and 80s more alert and wise than the 40s and the minniminals or mini animals who are more dafts than them. So many already in a daze and stupidity no cure."

Aiyo Jiaklat?

So OldDragon should heed Virgo49's example and go to kasinose to avoid dementia?

Or mb Virgo49 thinks that OldDragon is senile and having dementia liao despite his mental virility, super historical memory and also mathematical prowess in calculus and econometric modelling?

Actually, kasinose or not, mb Virgo49 just like to TKSS more often with OldDragon in the cool cloud and enjoy nice food there?

Especially savour the ahkwa pork floss sandwich with thick layers of mustard and mayo sauce?

Almost all are lovers of money. In his recent standup special "Black To The Future", comedian Lewis Black said that the US Congress was "the largest mental outpatient clinic in the world". I think he was too limited in his definition.

I would like to include every executive, legislative and judicial branch of government, plus all the parliaments, senates, legislative assemblies, tribunals, houses, (e.g. House of Lords), select committees in existence, and throughout the entirety of human history. (yeah, from the fucking beginning)

Politicians are mentally fucked. And yet we insist on them making decisions on our behalf. In fact, we pay them BIG BUX to do so.

So...who are really the truly insane? 🤡

Tony Blair said USA politics is just like a 'global soap opera'.

Although he is a fake news originator, I tend to agree with him.

Anon 3.18pm, you dun say ... To share some anecdotal empirical example from some SMEs clients. Some of the bosses comments on hiring of ex-captains, ex-majors, ex-Lt Col, ex-Col were that they instructed their HRs dun waste time if any such resume come in "straight delete" ... They say wasting their breath talking about such JLBs ... One word sum up everything ... Face-Palm ...

Virgo49 said...

Anon 4.13 is right on.

Recently, they have an article to propagate that the ex-uniformed officers from the Armed Services are assets to any Private or Statutory Boards in their Organisations.

Those who had served in NS knew that these are hogwash.

Uniformed services only once in a blue moon held what's monies wasting exercises and spend more time in preparation for that.

Whereas most of the time they are switched off doing routine chores.

Most spend their time idling in barracks or Offices with many in happy hours in Messes and canteens.

What's ourstanding aasets they have?? In coordinating most screwed up exercises just for wayang

The uniformed Services are the most chai liao bee organisations which only spend monies as earned from others.

Virgo49 said...

Just to add You can see the performance of these ex-Uniformed Services Top Brasses.

One tanked a Reputable one time world player shipping company.

One even have their staff killed and switched off in not maintaining their essential public transport services.

So many talked cock and Sing in Parliament.

Another General took over from another lame duck General and promised that there would not be anymore breakdowns.

Yet, they broke down in record time

So are they really Assets to any Private Organisations or Statutory Boards??

Only fit for Food delivery Service or talk cock and Sing Songs.
