More people having more confidence with China than with the USA - Pew Research

More people around the world are having more confidence with China than with the USA, according to a survey by the Pew Research Center. Pew Research Center is based in Washington DC, USA, so not sure whether it will end up like that survey on global happiness index that puts China at the top spot.

ASEAN was also reported to have favored China in the region over the USA. You can be sure that there are now sinister moves by the USA to turn this around, particularly in Indonesia and Vietnam. The USA is doing its dirty work of using NGOs to move the ground against China in Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and perhaps even in Cambodia, a long-time ally of China.

It has been reported that Thailand is the one country that has remained a loyal partner with China, among all the ASEAN states, over the centuries, despite all the effort to wean it away from supporting China. All those Red Shirt and Yellow Shirt disturbances are just examples of who is working the ground to ferment unrest in Thailand. Fortunately, Thailand's military is still strong enough to keep the peace. On top of that the Thai Monarchy has been able to lend a helping hand to keep the country united.

Recent elections by certain political parties have raised the issue of eroding the influence of the Monarchy and we know why and for what reason. Getting rid of the Monarchy is the first step to end its influence. Reports have circulated that such political parties calling for the end of the Monarchy are supported and cultivated by outside forces to affect a regime change in Thailand by marginalizing the power of the military and the Monarchy.

Thailand has been trying to enact laws to require foreign NGOs to disclose their sources of funding and they have raised a hue and cry, knowing that such a law will cripple their financial support. I do not know whether that move has been successfully implemented. Most political parties knew that this would keep foreign support at bay for trying to interfere in Thailand's internal affairs. The Thai Military Government knew this all along.

Another malicious article - White men continue to demonise Iran, ignoring that the American terrorists started this war to kill Iranians

CANBERRA: United States President Donald Trump’s proposal to charge a 20 per cent fee on cargo moving through the Strait of Hormuz under US protection was quickly walked back within a day. But it revealed how much the war is shifting.

More than 130 days into the conflict, what started as an effort to curb Iran’s nuclear ambitions is, at its core, becoming a fight over freedom of navigation.

Iran’s continued attacks on commercial shipping, despite the economic incentives contained in the June memorandum of understanding (MOU), show that Tehran is serious about using control of the Strait of Hormuz as leverage.

The US must adapt its strategy in response, but the threat to charge a toll was fundamentally in the wrong direction.

Iran has a history of attacking and interfering with shipping, from the Tanker War during its conflict with Iraq in the 1980s to attacks on six civilian vessels in and around the Gulf of Oman in 2019, and many other incidents of interference.

When Iran wants to send a strategic message, it attacks shipping.

Reading this silly malicious article, one cannot miss the message that the author was trying to pin all the blame on Iran, that Iran wanted to control the Strait of Hormuz, wanted to impose a fee, that Iran was trigger happy to attack ships, even just to send a message.

The whole world knows that this war was started by the American and Israeli terrorists to want to kill Iranians, to take over Iran. And the two terrorists fabricated lies about not wanting Iran to have nuclear weapons, wanting to change the regime in Iran, about wanting to keep the Strait of Hormuz open and free. For the latter, the American clowns can no longer spin any silly stories about their intention as they are the ones that wanted to control the Strait of Hormuz, wanted to impose a fee, wanting to stop freedom of navigation and have been attacking ships transiting the Strait. Only the very dull and very dense would not want to know about these.

As for the smearing of Iran as the trouble maker, wanting to attack ships in the Strait, this is another silly lie. It was the American terrorists that started attacking ships in the first place, blockading the Strait and Iran was all the time reacting and responding to the American aggression.

The American terrorists are not only the world's number one terrorists, they are the world's number one warmonger. Iran would not have attacked any ship, the Strait of Hormuz would have been open to all, ships moving freely, if the American terrorists have not started the bombing and attacks on Iran.

Stop spreading such silly lies to dupe the unwary and innocent readers and make them fools with such malicious ideas planted into their brain. The readers deserved better, more truthful reporting, factual reporting, instead of being fed with white men's lies. 

More good news - Singapore considering protecting the daft 18 year old from being duped by social media

 In a country that is full of daft, it is necessary to devise laws and procedures to protect them. The internet and social media are very dangerous places for the daft. And Singapore is an exceptional country, full of daft, easily cheated even to the tune of millions of dollars. And those that were scammed of so much money are not the 18 year old. They were the mature adults, some probably been through tertiary education or had held senior management positions. If such experience and senior people could be scammed, the 18 year old really stand no chance. It is therefore a good thing to think of ways to help the daft 18 year old as well as those that had been scammed of thousands or millions of dollars. I think it would not be a bad idea to ban such daft from the social media and the use of mobile phones, including residential phones as scammers also target land lines.

When 18 year old are considered daft and unreliable, even silly and unsafe to access the social media, I think this is a very serious problem for Singapore. Is it because of our poor quality of education or our political system or culture? Or we did not teach our young from being street smart? The world is so safe. When we read the media, what it says must be the truth. foreigners with a piece of shitty paper must be talents, trust them, no need to check their qualifications and background? The person calling must be real, a beautiful woman or a tall handsome man, or must be from the bank or the authority? Better still, your father or mother asking for help.

Remember, the 18 year old are by law responsible enough to be enlisted as NS men, to shoulder the responsibility of defending the country, to carry a rifle or even handle more deadly weapons. Maybe should consider protecting the country from such daft 18 year old and delay enlisting them for NS.. Wait for them to be mature and sensible and smart enough to shoulder the responsibility of NS men. What age should that be? Would 21 year old be good enough?  Anyone with any bright ideas on such issue of protecting our daft Singaporeans?

An easier solution would be to ban social media and the use of telecommunication equipment like mobile or residential phones. We are so lucky to have smart and caring people to want to protect our daft citizens. This must be another good news. I thought I read this in the main media. Maybe I have read wrongly. It is good to have papa around all the time to take care of the daft and those unable to grow up or suffering from stupidity has no cure. For one, millions of dollars would have been saved.

PS. No need to protect big institutions that hired foreigners to access their operating systems with millions of accounts, data and money and company secrets. Hiring more foreigners for critical and sensitive positions is very safe. They would not scam or cheat the institutions.

Are the Chinese stupid enough to let Indians into China?

I do not think jobs for Indians in China are freely available to them. Chinese employers are not that naive to trust Indians in their midst, perhaps already aware of the sabotage in factories owned by foreign investors in India.

Those Indians are probably visiting China hoping to land an elusive job. It is a good opportunity anyway for China to showcase its infrastructure and living conditions to the Indians. The sword cuts both ways and showing the Indians what they are missing under the Modi Government. Why should China be worried when they are providing free and cheap countering of USA propaganda about China over the last few decades. In the process, China is also earning good money from Indian tourism, albeit with caution.

AI and robotics are doing all the work in most factories, working in the dark 24/7. There was even a report on social media that such factories are churning out missiles and drones 24 hours a day. Of course, China is not going to boast about such factories. Deng Xiaoping told the Chinese, keep a low profile and not evoke jealousy and be humble. They do not need Indians to work in such factories anyway.

USA is a plutocracy, democracy is a farce

The USA is a plutocracy, or should we call it an oligarchy, where power is concentrated in a group based on wealth or economic influence. In other words, only the rich are given the privilege or opportunity to rule.

USA citizens are only there to legitimize the system, being given the right to vote either for the right or the left hand of the same entity, whether Democrats or Republicans. The propaganda that they are voting for democracy in order to have freedom is a farce. Whatever power for the President comes out of Congress or the Senate, with both houses all infested by the same group of oligarchs from both sides.

We can talk until the cows come home, and the system can never be changed. It is too deeply ingrained in those 'dull of mind' to understand that heads the oligarchs win, tails the USA citizens lose. Just look at the tariff fiasco that USA citizens are the ones footing the bill, not China or anyone else. They do not even have any chance to squeak, just swallowing the misery.

I understand that the USA is now being told to refund those illegal tariffs imposed on other countries. US$81 billion had been touted to have been or will be refunded. I wonder how true it is. What has that loud-mouthed Commerce Secretary, Howard Lutnik got to say about those refunds? He sold those tariffs claiming the USA is collecting hundreds of billions for the USA coffer, not to benefit USA citizens who are made to pay those additional import taxes masquerading as tariffs.

Oh, I also read about one of Howard Lutnik's children setting up a kind of entity to take bets that the tariff fiasco will backfire and collapse. Did Howard have anything to do with it? These traitors are running the country into the ground and the people are clueless.
