Scott Bessent - He is the best Trump and Soros found?

 Off topic but I was amused that Scott Bessant found the question of 'who is paying the tariffs' to be a very complicated question to answer when cornered by a congressman. That he even said that to a congressman is a no brainer. As someone who is supposed to be a highly touted hedge fund manager, this is nothing more than a bald face liar trying to lie through his teeth, knowing he cannot tell the congressman that USA consumers are actually paying those tariffs, not manufacturers in China or elsewhere.

Now, when a buyer enters a shop to buy something, who pays for the things he bought when you asked him? How complicated is it to answer the question. Scott Bessant's facial expression when confronted with this question is always clownish and finding difficulty dealing with it. He smiled uncomfortably, stammers when unable to answer the question directly and truthfully and tried to wriggle his way out with nonsensical noises like an animal caught in a trap. How he lied his way through is fun to watch. One congressman even told him straight in the face that he is not just brought in sitting there to lie.

Scott Bessent is nearing the end of his tethers. The tariff con that exporters from other countries have to eat those tariffs have been put to rest with USA consumers now finding out the escalating prices at retail outlets. Not only that, but other sectors like agriculture are caught in the tailspin of those tariff war and farmers regretting throwing their support behind Trump to get him elected. But it is too late to regret for that.

Now we are seeing that retaliation is even affecting the chips sector, with China telling its industry players to avoid using USA made chips. Slowly, Trump is killing what he was supposed to protect and still thinking he has cards left to play. No Donnie, the game is over, and the cards are not in your hands to deal.

China is slowly seeking out all the weak spots in the USA armor to attack when the time is ripe and when it is in a position to launch those attacks. Time is on China's side. After all China goes for long term planning and is well known for that. After clearing the hurdles to overcome the chips alliance with its own self-made chips, China is ready for the next stage of its retaliation in the technology war.

Arrogance of Washington clowns

The lesson the USA has not admitted so far is that it has fallen into its own trap that it laid for China. The USA had for all intents and purpose tailored its foreign policies towards taking down countries that it deems a threat to its superpower status. China is the current priority for the USA as a peer competitor in all areas.

But the USA forgot one thing. It is not at all prepared to do what it wanted to do, as taking down China is different from taking down Japan or Germany. One has cornered all the resources necessary to engage in a conflict that cannot be avoided while the other just ignored all the need to know its enemy's strength, arrogantly thinking that confronting China is a piece of cake.

Making matters worse was pushing Russia into the orbit of China that makes the problem of tackling China even harder. Two against one is a different kettle of fish for the USA to comprehend. That is why trying to split the two is also on the agenda of the USA and the Europeans.

China now controls rare earth resources, the one fundamental ingredient necessary for all weapons needed for war - airplanes, submarines, aircraft carriers, drones and missiles. Trying to make up for its rare earth scarcity is a tad too late for the USA.

It is actually a misnomer to say that rare earth minerals are rare. It is very common cheap rock found all over the world. It is the refining logistics that is the defining domination of who controls rare earth and China is undoubtedly the dominant player with almost 90% refining facilities.

As I like to say, China thinks long term and China works its way to make sure it gets to control what is important.

Alaska Summit - No deal is a deal

'No deal unless there is a deal'. What is Trump talking about? When China was talking to them in Switzerland and London, Trump was touting about a done deal, without him being there, and there was realistically never any deal. This man is something out of the extraordinary in his delusional thinking, boasting and behavior.

As expected, there was never going to be a deal in Alaska. Now, we will wait for Trump to hit Putin with 'serious consequences' that he threatened earlier, if he really dares to. Or should we again expect another 90 days reprieve for Russia, to be shrank to 10 -12 days again under pressure? TACO will do what he does best- chickening out once again and still boasting with cluck, cluck, cluck.

But Trump is already gloating about a 'nice productive' meet, whatever that means in Trump's terminology, when he has realistically failed to snatch a deal to end the conflict. Trump has no more runways left for his gloating with grand-sounding words like nice, great, big, beautiful, constructive and now productive all of which people are getting sick and tired of swallowing.

Putin is asking Trump to meet again in Moscow. Now, let us be honest. Meeting for another ten times is not going to achieve anything. Kim Jong Un knows it after two meetings with Trump. At best it is going to improve Trump's chances of hijacking the Nobel Peace Prize. This is what Trump is aiming for, nothing else.

There are very substantive issues that cannot be resolved, the main one is of the territories that Russia has captured, which is never going to be returned to Ukraine. After all the sacrifices, Putin is going to lose his credibility if he were to give them up.

Now, Putin is warning the Europeans in NATO not to try to 'torpedo' the meeting by resorting to sabotage of the effort made in Alaska, as they did at the start of the Ukraine War. Some people are calling this meeting in Alaska just another 'Minsk version 3' following two others that were never honored by NATO. Let us wait and see how the situation will evolve.

But let us be honest. No peace deal can be achieved within a four-party quartet having different agendas - Russia, USA, Ukraine and the EU. It is an exercise in futility with sides trying to antagonize each other, just perceptively playing a game.

John Mearsheimer - China not a responsible stakeholder, abusing its military might? Typical American vicious lies

  I was watching a discussion in a forum where Eric Li was having an exchange with John Mearsheimer on China and the USA. Melsheimer repeated the typical America narrative that the Americans expected China to be like the USA after joining the WTO and became rich, that China would become a responsible stakeholder. Instead, China's gain in economic wealth was translated to exercising its military might. The Americans and western audience took these comments as the truth without questioning. So would the brain dead Anglophiles, that China is an irresponsible stakeholder and wielding its military might all over the world. It does not need much thinking to know that these are American lies spread without any element of truth, just plain lies concocted by the American propaganda machine. And they said, as long as you keep repeating the lies, the bigger the lies, after some time it would become the truths in the subconscious of the unthinking, even if they are well educated, especially the Anglophiles.

Just ask, how irresponsible is China as a stakeholder in its relations and activities all over the world?  What have China been doing that were considered irresponsible? Is the promotion of BRI, to connect the whole world for trade and cultural exchanges irresponsible? Is the formation of SCO, BRICS, AIIB, NDB, etc irresponsible? Is the building of ports, infrastructures, roads, high speed rails irresponsible? Is becoming the number one trading partner of more than 140 nations irresponsible? Is producing all the goods and services for the world, cheap and good, irresponsible? Overcapacity in manufacturing goods that are needed and wanted by the rest of the world irresponsible?

The Americans and the westerners are not doing any of these and are claiming themselves to be responsible stakeholders for producing highly expensive overpriced goods and services of lower quality responsible stakeholders? 

On the other extremes, they are conducting wars, waging wars, provoking wars all over the world, committing genocides, are these the behaviours of responsible stakeholders? And they accused China of using its military might, where and how? Is China fighting in any war, fighting in Ukraine, fighting in the Middle East, in Africa, conducting regime change ie killing and assassinating heads of govts and countries, invading countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Iran, and massacring the Palestinians daily? 

Only the really brain dead would take all the American lies without questioning, did not want to question, did not want to know, did not want to see the wars and destructions the Americans and the West are committing using their military might. They are so blind to the crimes, war crimes and crimes against humanity of the Americans and the West and pointing the fingers at China for militarily aggressive when not involved in any wars, not firing a single bullet for the last 50 years.

When are these brain dead Anglophiles, the Americans and the West, including snake oil salesmen like Mearsheimer going to see what the Americans are doing around the world vis a vis what China is doing around the world? Who is the irresponsible stakeholder? Who is using its military might to bully the rest of the world, threatening to start wars everywhere, threaten to attack China and actually invaded so many countries and still fighting war in Ukraine and the Middle East and committing genocide against the Palestinians? No, no such things, or what the Americans are doing are responsible and their wars are justified, for the good of humankind?

Let me refresh the memories of Mearsheimer and the West, including the brain dead Anglophiles of what they would regard as responsible behaviours of a stakeholder.

1. Fabricated lies of WMD to invade Iraq, massacred the Iraqis and turned Iraq into a failed state.

2. Assassinated many state leaders that did not agree with American hegemony and conducted regime change.

3. Committing genocide in Gaza, still going on every day, 24/7.

4. Funded the CIA, ie Criminal Interventionist Agency of the American govt to destabilise countries, fund and support terrorist groups, conduct terrorism all over the world.

5. Start endless wars of aggression.

6. Provoke and incite wars, form aggressive gangs to bully small states.

7. Weaponise the dollar and the world's financial system for its own interests.

8. Arbitrarily seize the wealth of individuals and nation states.

9. Sanction countries and impoverish countries to destroy their lives and livelihood of nation states.

10. And many more.

Stop spreading outdated lies about China. The world is not stupid and have eyes to see and ears to hear. Only the brain dead would not be able to see or hear and know the truth. Americans and the West are responsible stakeholders, not involved in wars of aggression and oppression? They are the terrorists of the world. They are the gangsters and criminals of the world.
