American chip manufacturing's future is grim

Trump does not have to kill the USA Chip industry himself. After all, it is the brainchild of Joe Biden with his Chip Alliance, and anything by Biden's name is toxic for Trump and must be removed. Trump knows the future is already bleak for the USA chip industry. He needs to do nothing to run them into the ground.

Those foreign chipmakers like TSMC and Samsung are committing 'Hara Kiri' building manufacturing in the Arizona desert area of all places, where water shortages are a problem. Greed for wanting those USA subsidies is a trap that they are going to regret. Without the Chinese market, how is that sustainable? Perhaps the USA Government will just keep subsidizing them, which is a fat hope, LOL.

Trump's action against Huawei is telling the world that Huawei chips are proving to be able to take up the challenge and giving USA chipmakers a run for the money, including TSMC and Samsung. Even Nvidia is nervous. We just have to read between the lines of what all that nonsense that Trump is dishing out is in fact telling us, which is spelling out an even more grim and disturbing picture of Huawei's resilient and innovative spirit in the face of all the hurdles that the USA has placed before it.

Americans working on regime change in Singapore?

The Americans are in panic as they watch the shrinking of their Empire. They are hell bent to keep their Empire, their world dominance, to write the rules for the world, to control the world. Their main rivals today are the Chinese and the Russians, two superpowers that have the means to dismantle their Empire.

Singapore plays a very important role in their game plan to contain China, to choke off China's trade route. China is the biggest trading country in the world and depends heavily on freedom of navigation, especially the South China Sea and the Straits of Malacca. 90% of China's ships pass through the South China Sea and the Malacca Strait. Only a fraction of America's trade passes through these two waterways.

The American's talk about protecting freedom of navigation in the South China Sea and the Malacca Strait are blatant lies. They are talking about controlling the Malacca and Singapore Straits, and also the South China Sea to choke China's maritime trade routes, to cripple the growth of China. China has always been threatened by the Americans controlling the Singapore and the Malacca Straits and has developed alternative trade routes through Central Asia, through BRI and through ports in Pakistan and Myanmar, with the possibility of cutting the Kra Isthmus. Freedom of navigation is vital to China's growth and prosperity. Freedom of navigation is the fake excuse of the Americans to choke China.

China is the victim of American aggression and seeking to free itself from the American clutches, to keep the water ways free from American control. Only fools would believe in the American lies that their warships are here to protect freedom of navigation. Singapore is America's prized possession, with military facilities to support American military operation and the ability to choke China.

The latest developments like Lawrence Wong visiting China first instead of America, and Hsien Loong talking about the world minus America are being scrutinised and studied carefully by the Americans. The Americans cannot afford to lose control of Singapore. They have no other reliable friends in the region. The Pinoys and Indians are fair weather friends, unpredictable and opportunistic. Philippines can turn friendly to China again if Marcos Jr loses power. India thinks it is another superpower and very difficult to control.

By the way, the Americans know that Marcos would not last his term and is frantically trying to cook a crisis for Marcos to declare martial law and rule for life. The Indians are now roped in to provoke China to fire the first shot. If not, the Americans or Pinoys might create a false flag incident, to shoot at their Pinoy soldiers, kill one of them for Marcos to declare martial law. This is going to happen very soon, at latest, before the end of Marcos' term. China is aware of the evil American and Marcos' plan and would not to them the favour.

Losing control of a friendly Singapore would overturn the apple cart of the Americans. If there is any cue that Singapore is tilting towards China, it is within expectation that the Americans would act to preempt such an eventuality. This is cause for the Americans to conduct a regime change. The Americans are very suspicious and edgy and would take immediate actions if they sense that there is such a change.

Singapore's leadership is acutely aware of this possibility and has been carefully balancing its relationships with China and the US, claiming to chart a neutral course, but in reality a pro American policy. This pro American slant in Singapore's position is likely to continue for a long while unless Trump and his clowns become mad and do the darndest thing. Singapore has to be very careful about what the Americans think. When the Americans are uncomfortable or suspicious, their only option is regime change.

Are the Americans thinking of a regime change in Singapore and already starting their recruiting campaign? Who would the Americans be working on if they have such a plan?

Trump is killing all American chip companies by killing trust

Nvidia's good fortune is going to be short lived. There was a surge in its share prices and value when Trump lifted the sanctions on sales of H20 chips to China while still banning the sales of top end H100 chips. Some Chinese companies rushed in to place orders immediately to the tune of hundreds of billions when the door was reopened.

The Chinese are hungry for American chips and would seize the opportunity when available. Who knows when Trump would close it again. Selling H20 chips to China is like selling Rolls Royce but with Japanese engines because of the ban. The Americans think that the Chinese are so hard up for anything Rolls Royce, even if it is just the shell, with downgraded substandard engines inside them. This was the case for a long time. The Chinese were quite far behind in chip technology and with increasing demand by the industries, they have no choice but to pick up whatever that is available.

Since the sanctions, China doubled down on self sufficiency in chips production and have more or less caught up with the Americans. China now can produce all the high end chips needed for its industries and has no need to buy substandard chips. Trump and Nvidia still dreaming and still think watered down version of the chips can still be sold to hungry China. Sorry, time has changed.

Not only that China no longer needs American chips, but China also discovered that Nvidia chips have been compromised with serious security issues, like backdoors and kill switches. These are very dangerous apps built into the chips and could cripple the whole Chinese economy and operating systems at the flip of a switch. China cannot allow it, cannot afford to be compromised by such dubious facilities.

The China Daily came out strongly on protecting China's security and safety in no uncertain terms, ordered all purchases of American chips to be stopped at once. This is a top national security problem, an existential threat. From now on, China would not buy American chips even for free. All Chinese products would only use Chinese chips. China no longer trust American chips or American operating systems. A total decoupling is in process.

Trump and his clowns have totally destroyed the trust of American chips, products and operating systems. China will now be totally independent of the Americans and will not be held at ransom by the Americans. The rest of the world, especially those in BRICS and the Global South, are watching these developments closely and would take a hard decision whether to follow China or continue to buy compromised chips and products from the Americans and be controlled and threatened by the Americans.

No more trust in American products!

There is complete loss of trust in America, Americans and anything coming from the Americans. Trump and his clowns have dug a grave big enough to bury everything from America. When this trust is gone, America is a dead duck.

Lunatic Trump's nuclear threat against Putin

Now that Trump's threats against Putin using two nuclear submarines have been dismantled by Russia with a retaliative message, and the deadline coming soon, it will be interesting to see how Trump is going to wriggle his way out again. Perhaps another 90 days grace, to be adjusted again and again until he leaves office. What a laughable clown show of 24 hours going to 90 days and then 10 to 12 days. Trump is already in office for more than six months without any Ukraine deal. Putin is playing Trump like a violin, the same way Xi is doing it like a Chinese 'erhu', LOL. I am sure Trump has never heard of 'erhu'. Wait till he discovers its beautiful sound, and he will fall in love with it, like Kim Jong Un and tariffs.

Why is Trump still gloating about a deal with China just close by so many times, trying to calm his dense MAGA ground with the impending economic disaster befalling supply chains affecting the year end shopping spree. Switzerland was supposed to be a done deal, then followed by London. What deal was Trump gloating about then? Just empty one-sided feel-good musing without substance. The Chinese call it 'chwee kong lampar song' translated in the rough meaning 'mouth talking about it to make the balls feel good'. The world has the message and enough is enough.

Trump threatening decoupling, China full steam in decoupling...quietly, no rush to have any deal with Trump

Wonder what Trump will be collecting in tariffs if most countries affected just export less to the USA? A 100% or even 1000% tariff is just going to be academic.

China seems not too ruffled by the threat of more tariffs buying Russian oil. But beneath the calm exterior, China is building more bridges connected to other countries for its exporters rather than concentrating on fighting a rogue regime that cannot be reasoned with. India is now wising up as well.

What is the use of gloating about all those winnings, when less and less is being collected as countries find alternatives for their exports and more is being paid by USA citizens instead of manufacturers in other countries?
