Tariff is Trump's way of collecting easy money. He does not care if it works or not

There is a world of difference between thinking decades ahead and just thinking no further than the nose. Trump's tariff on the world is a short-term thinking just no further than his nose. To make the tariffs really telling, Trump should have attracted manufacturing back to the USA first before trying his luck without planning and just and hoping to succeed with hoaxes and blackmailing. No sane investor is going to move manufacturing back to the USA now, knowing the costs of production is going to escalate with tariffs on imported raw materials, such as aluminum and steel. Now semiconductor giants like Samsung are having cold feet by investing further citing lack of demand. If Samsung is saying the inevitable, what do the others have to say.

On the contrary, true blue USA entities like John Deere, are moving out of the USA for cheaper destinations, primarily to Mexico. John Deere probably realizes the agricultural sector in the USA has little future to hang on to. Farmers left in USA are crying foul, but they should blame Trump for starting the trade war during his first term against China. The retaliation was hard-hitting against USA's agricultural sector, which is now floundering. China's hope to return to buying soya beans and corn from USA farmers are a foregone conclusion. Instead, China has already found alternative supplies from Brazil, Argentina and Russia. These are friendly countries that China can trust, save for Argentina with its clownish leader veering from one side to the other, depending on which direction the wind blows.

The USA is still looking for rare earth opportunities to hang on to, hoping to start the ball rolling, already years behind schedule. USA tried to source rare earth raw materials from Mongolia but failed at the first hurdle of trying to use China's Tianjin Port to ship them to Japan for refining. Now, there is a tariff deal with Vietnam, with rare earth in abundance in Vietnam for the taking but setting up mining and refining logistics take years. Let us forget about rare earth reserves in Ukraine, which was probably a scam to keep the USA engaged in the Ukraine War.

If it is Boeing, I am not flying

If it is Boeing, I am not flying seems to be the byword today for most travelers. Those that have not suffered the scare will always do the dare, no doubt about it. It is their own life to play around with.

Apart from safety issues, Boeing is unable to deliver planes ordered and some airlines have resorted to cancelling orders. When time is the essence of making money, delay of a few years of planes needed today is not acceptable.

There have been reports that counterfeit titanium parts and aluminum alloys have been substituted by an Italian parts manufacturer, which is scary to think of. Boeing is selling planes costing hundreds of millions each and still needs cost cutting measures just boggles the mind. Shareholder's returns are more important than safety of passengers.

Suffice to say, Boeing planes are not all made in the USA, and it still relies on supply chains from around the world. Trump's tariff will add more to the misery of Boeing.

A Boeing jet bound for India was forced to turn back to get its fuel control switches checked as investigations into the Air India tragedy continue. Etihad Airways flight EY352, travelling from Abu Dhabi to Hyderabad made its return to the UAE capital after an engineering work order came into place on Sunday mid-flight, according to Times of India. The order to inspect the locking mechanism on fuel supply switches came after a report by India's Aircraft Investigation Bureau was published on Saturday.

India's role in a geopolitics versus geoeconomic divide

Pravin Sawhney expounded on India's sleazy and messy entanglement in a world divided by geopolitical interests and geoeconomic interests where India wants to be a key player in both but confronting a reality that would not allow India to do so. Above is a 20 minute clip exploring India's have the cake and eat it policy, of being in BRICS and also in QUAD, in being friends of the US and undermining the very objectives of BRICS and thinking this is a special privilege position India can hold, and both the Americans and BRICS countries would have to accept it.

Pravin Sawhney explained that being in the QUAD, India is acting like a vassal state of the Americans, a position contrary to its ambition as an independent superpower. On the other hand, being a founding member of BRICS, India is an equal partner and serves its aspiration to be the leader of the Global South. The two opposing memberships put India in a dicey position and compromise India's goal to be an independent pillar in global politics.

The American's position is centred on geopolitical interests, a zero sum game of winners and losers, with the Americans wanting to rule the world and continue to be the dominant world hegemon. BRICS' premises are based on geoeconomics, a win win formula for all countries, in trade and economic development, a multi polar world and the development of an alternative trade and financial system alongside the American SWIFT and dollar systems.

India is now caught in between and its positions in both organisations make it looks like a trouble maker, a mischievous party that would harm the interests of the respective organisations. India is no longer trusted by both organisations and both are suspicious of the roles of India. This is untenable. BRICS cannot move forward with India as the stumbling block. The Americans only see India as a poodle to do its bidding and its nasty and destructive agenda in undermining BRICS.

India would have to choose and there is not much time. Both sides cannot tolerate an unreliable partner in their organisation, a member they cannot trust and cannot discuss openly in India's presence. Either India be asked to go or the organisations exist in paralysis. This would be an utter waste of time and effort of the leaders and countries to stay in the organisations. It would be sad that an international organisation allows itself to be crippled by just a rogue member, in India and has to become defunked.

 Jeffrey Epstein's pimp operation has been in business for decades, luring, ensnaring and entrapping all the political elites of the western world into his net. Everyone, from royalties to tycoons from London, New York, Paris and all the western capitals were happy clients and friends of Epstein. The operation is very well financed and connected, a sign that it is more than just a normal pimp business. 

Epstein made sure that all the activities of his clients were carefully captured on films and video clips, and documented for future use when needed. He targeted clients even in their youths as long as they have the potential, and coming from the elite circles. It is a deep underground operation, like a mole. And for decades, nothing surfaced, and the clients were happy and trusting in Epstein, confident that no one would know of their private lives and sordid indiscretion. No one would know as long as the masterminds did not have the need to expose them to do their bidding. Who are the real masterminds behind this huge seedy operation?

Strangely, pictures and video clips of Trump's younger days and his amusments in the confines of Epstein's establishments started to pop up one after another. These have nothing to do with Wikileaks. They are more sinister than that. Some may think they came from Musk. The big question is where did Musk get them from? Or is it that some sources conveniently leaked out these saucy stuff at this critical juncture to put Trump in the defensive, becoming very vulnerable and needing help, meaning would have to do the bidding of those that could help him, to destroy or prevent more exposures of his unflattering past and despicable behaviours?

There have been many speculations and conspiracy theories floating around that Trump is now a controlled man, no longer able to do as he pleased or as he pledged that he would do. He is no longer the supposedly peace loving president that would end all wars, end the Ukraine War and the Gaza Genocide. In fact he is now expanding the war in Ukraine and the Genocide in Gaza while he is still dreaming and hopeful of being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. His handler knows this and is waving the Peace Prize in his face, if he behaves and be obedient to his masters. 

Many are now questioning who is the real Trump. Because of his strange behaviours and policies, all his grand plans about MAGA have collapsed and his followers are deserting him. Trump is now isolated in his office in the White House with only his handful of henchmen beside him. Many have left, losing confidence in him. 

Who is the biggest beneficiary of this new Trump that is acting and dancing to the tune of his handler? Trump's days are numbered, now fully at the mercy of his handlers. He has to obey and do as told or more pics and videos would surface to further discredit him, not that the damage is not bad enough.

Epstein's operation is the Trump card, pun intended, to control Trump and all the senators and congressmen and women. The lobby can just do so much but not as effective as what that can come out from Epstein's closet. Trump is a dead man walking, a President with a handler, no difference from Biden.
