Trump has four more years to destroy the USA

Zelensky is not going to worry about having to pay Ukraine's unpayable debts. He has limited time left on his hands holding power in Ukraine. Whoever comes after him will have to shoulder the debt owed to USA and NATO, or should I say the citizens of Ukraine will be left to shoulder that debt. It is the same with USA Presidents, promising the sky and the moon, but after their four years is over, it is other people's business and responsibility.

Trump has four more years to destroy the USA, which he could not accomplish during his first term. Trump is going to make China Greater Again and make 'America Grief Again'. Already, the media is starting to gloat about factories moving to the USA after Trump's victory, thinking that those tariffs Trump is gloating about is going to make 'Made in USA' conquer the world. Have they asked the question of how such industries in USA are going to compete on the global stage, which is much bigger than the USA market itself. If such products made in USA cannot sell outside the USA, such manufacturing entities will become more or less just white elephants in no time.

Trump is starting to boast that 'tariffs are the best invention of mankind' or something to that effect in his warped mind. Best invention to help the rich, not the common man on the street. They have to pay more for goods imported into the country, nothing more and nothing less.

And Trump is again saying that 'tariffs are easy to win', the same as his 'trade wars are easy to win'. Countries will likely retaliate. If trade wars are easy to win, why is the USA still trying to contain China with so much winning?

American politicians are garbage

USA's garbage politicians say one thing today, tomorrow they change their stance, just to pander to voters, who are basically just 'garbage' themselves.

Trump's stance on Ukraine and Middle East swings from one direction to the next. Would anyone dare to believe that he will be ending the two wars, after touting that he will still support Ukraine and Israel with aid? Who dares to bet on his rhetoric? He even said that he could end the Ukraine War in 24 hours, even eliciting ridicule from clown Zelenskyy.

Ending the Middle East war is even more distant and unlikely, with Trump having old baggage carried over from his first term of wanting to bomb Iran back to the stone age. Shall we see another love affair with Kim Jong Un on the cards as well? Trump also threatened to bomb North Korea back to the stone age at one stage. Supposing everyone goes back to the stone age, what good does that do to the USA?

Whatever happens, Trump is going to make China even greater again. Tariffs on Chinese goods are not going to make USA any greater overnight or even with his second four-year term, not least with the voters now having to pay more for their products from China. Has the USA even started producing consumer goods to flood the USA market, which the tariffs were supposed to encourage? Putting the cart before the horse is not going to make the reality of moving forward come true. China will retaliate and China has control of very essential stuff to cripple the USA.

USA farmers between a rock and a hard place

If even China goes back to the stone age, what good does it do to the USA.

With no China to buy USA agricultural products, what are USA farmers going to do for a living? Do a little backyard gardening? With no China to buy USA livestock like pork or chicken, what are USA livestock farmers going to do for a living? Rear a few pigs and chickens for self-consumption?

USA farmers are now between a rock and a hard place, not knowing what to grow or what to rear. China is hitting the USA where it hurts the most. Did I still hear trade wars are easy to win. Now the mantra being chanted by Trump is 'tariffs are easy to win'. Well, let us see.

Trump snubs Prabowo of Indonesia

'In the call with Trump, Mr Prabowo told him: "Wherever you are, I'm willing to fly to congratulate you personally, sir.”

Trump replied: "We'll do that, anytime you want.”...

The video of the call received mixed reactions on Mr Prabowo’s social media accounts, with some applauding Mr Prabowo for being able to speak to Trump and others saying that he seemed desperate to meet the president-elect.

Mdm Suzie Sudarman, an international relations expert from the University of Indonesia, said the phone call reinforces the view of some Indonesian political watchers that the US has a limited perception of what it wants from Indonesia.

“America cannot conceptualise it. ‘Tell me, I don’t have time. Tell me, 1, 2, 3, what you want.’ That also happened when Jokowi met Obama,” said Mdm Suzie, referring to the previous presidents of both countries.' CNA

Above is from an article about Prabowo's visits to Beijing and Washington when he met with Xi Jinping and his meeting with Joe Biden. He was also hopeful of meeting Trump, to be the first foreign leader to have met him. Unfortunately Trump was too busy for him and no meeting was arranged.

Prabowo's visits to the two largest economies in the world say a lot about his effort to take a neutral line between the two superpowers, to engage with both, to show to both leaders that he valued their relationship and would want to have a better understanding with both of them. It would serve Indonesia well if both superpowers were to accept Indonesia's chosen path, as being neutral in the geopolitics and contest between the two superpowers.

Was it wrong timing or was it as said by Suzie Sudarman above, Indonesia is not of particular importance to the Americans at least for now, and there was no need for Trump to spend time with him? By the way, Trump had time for Milieu of Argentina, the bankrupt country.  Prabowo's eagerness to meet Trump and being rejected did not go well with the people of Indonesia. He flew all the way to the USA, you know how far and how much trouble to get there, but Trump would not spare him 10 minutes to shake his hand.

Well, better luck next time. Trump had said, anytime, anywhere, but not now, not in Washington. He has more important things to do. And there is a very long queue out there waiting to shake Trump's hand.

Would they ever meet going forward would depend on how important Indonesia is to Trump. Xi has no problem with Indonesia's neutral position, but what about Trump when he is going after China? The American's only believe in 'you are with us or against us'. There is no neutrality. Just ask the doggies privately and they will tell you what the Americans really are. Indonesia wants to play both sides like India?

Communism did not expand southwards, NATO expands eastwards

While communism did not expand Southwards after the fall of South Vietnam, look at what happened in Eastern Europe. NATO kept expanding over there after the West had an agreement with the Soviet Union that NATO will not expand an inch Eastward after the fall of the Soviets. Did the West honor their words? They now claim that there was no written agreement, so they can just merrily expand NATO Eastward to threaten Moscow, thinking that Putin has forgotten what Gorbachev had agreed with the West.

NATO's intended expansion into Ukraine was the straw that broke the camel's back. Ukraine was the buffer zone that Russia intended to keep, due to the extremely wide border that it has with Russia, which would be a National Security issue if Ukraine joins NATO. NATO cannot be allowed to have such a close existence in Ukraine, allowing the USA to station nukes to threaten Moscow. What will happen if Cuba were to be allowed to have Russian nukes stationed on the island? It works the same way.

In South-East Asia, decades ago, Deng Xiaoping had a meeting with Elder Lee and subsequently agreed to stop the communist infiltration into South-East Asia and Chin Peng was reined in. This is according to the words of Elder Lee, in a video post, which is still on Youtube, talking about Deng Xiaoping as being the 'most impressive person he ever met in his life'. Lee's admiration of Deng's trustworthiness cannot be underestimated. Beijing stopped its support of the communist activities in Malaya after that and communism never threatens South-East Asia.

This is the way that credible leaders should be acting, honoring their words to the letter. Was there even a written agreement, I am not sure. Unlike 'garbage' leaders overturning their agreed stance the moment they turn their backs, I would not hesitate to say that their 'iron clad' commitments are also all a mirage, unless you are a White country.
