The Kidnapping of Huawei's CFO, Meng Wanzhou May Lead to War of Unknown consequences

            Is the US trying to exercise extra-territoriality over the kidnapping of  Huawei's CFO, Meng Wanzhou. If so it is just foolish and wishful thinking. The kidnapping of Meng Wanzhou is an act of banditry which must be strongly denounced and condemned by the whole civilize world.

The kidnapping of Meng Wanzhou is a criminal banditry act which will have far reaching and far ranging worldwide disastrous consequences and implications not only for China and the Chinese people but also for all countries which value freedom, independence and full sovereignty of their countries.

Meng Wanzhou should be freed without conditions. failing which China is obliged to complement the precedent set by USA and all Americans and its western allies will face similar predicaments not only from China but also from other countries which have been bullied by US and have been the target  of US illogical illateral sanctions.

USA, a rogue and thuggery country must seriously take note, China and the Chinese people will not be humiliated again to be subjected to US practise of extraterritorial legality.

From the Opium Wars of 1830s to 1940s , a dark age in Chinese history. China was attacked, invaded and occupied by many European countries viz England, France, Russia, Germany, America and Japan. Each of the invading country subjected China to great shameful intolerable humiliations. They each and every one imposed on China a punishing war indemnity where China was forced to pay to each of the occupying powers hundreds of millions of silver dollars . ( In today's value it is worth a few thousand billions of dollars ). This served to impoverish China and the Chinese people for over a hundred years until 1049 when the Peoples Republic of China stopped the payment.

The British, France, Russia, Germany, America, Italy, Holland and Japan occupied large areas of Chinese lands in the coastal ports of Shanghai, Ning Po, Dairen ( Port Arthur ), Canton , Amoy and others. In these ports and other occupied areas they exercised extra territorial rights . They collected all the revenues, taxes, duties, port dues and deprived the Chinese government of any revenues at all.This further impoverish China in conjunction to the war indemnities.

In the occupied areas the Westerners were not subjected to Chinese laws. Also Chinese people in occupied areas were subjected to foreign laws and not Chinese laws. Thus when westerners or Chinese commit crimes they could just escape to foreign occupied areas and escaped punishment from Chinese jurisdiction.

The most humiliating part was when they carved up China and divided China among themselves as their sphere of influence and insultingly called it "the cutting of the Chinese water melon." They detached large swathes of Chinese lands and incorporated or annexed them to British India ( now the cause of border trouble between China and India )and Burma, to France Indo-China and to Russia's Far East ( mostly taken from China ), and to Japan which occupied Liu Chiu Dow ( which the Japs renamed Okinawa ) and Taiwan.

Now, in the case of Huawei and Meng Wanzhou US thinks it can exercise extraterritoriality over a Chinese citizen and thereby over China. US must stop thinking foolishly that China will allows its citizen who has not committed any crime or breach any US laws to be kidnapped to be tried in USA. It is wishful thinking if it thinks it can fix Huawei or Meng Wanzhou and thereby exercise extraterritoriality against China.

USA has run foul of the rules of international laws. It has defied  United Nations ruling under United Nations Security Council Resolution 2231 which calls on all countries to drop sanctions on Iran as part of the 2015 Nuclear Agreements. Yet the recalcitrant USA is alone in defiance of the resolution and rejects the Security Council's role in such matters.

The kidnapping of Meng Wanzhou is illegal, unlawful and extremely provocative. Here I quote Professor D. Sachs of Columbia University

"When global trade rules obstruct USA gangster tactics, then the rules have to go according to Trump."

"The unprecedented arrest of Meng is even more provocative because it is based on US extraterritorial sanctions, that is the claim by US that it can order other countries to stop trading with third parties such as Cuba or Iran. US would certainly not tolerate China or any other country telling US companies with whom they can or cannot trade."

"US has no right to unilaterally sanction Huawei base only on US rules. It should be based on agreements according to United Nations Security Council if there is a case."

"The Trump administration, not Huawei or China is today's greatest threat to international rule of law and therfore to global peace."

The implications of Huawei-Meng Wanzhou's case is that if US is allowed to kidnap a Chinese citizen and hold a China's top company to ransom and get away with it , that would mean US rules and laws can be applied on any Chinese or any Chinese firms be it whether they are domiciled in China or outside China. That would be acceding to US extraterritoriality . It would mean US rules and laws supercede Chinese rules and laws even in China. Ultimately that means China will lose its independence as a sovereign nation and come under US rule and dominance.

In this 21st century if US still thinks it can exercise extraterritoriality on China or any other country it is foolish and wishful thinking for it would be tantamount to declaration of war.

China should not take chances but must be fully prepared for all out war against a desperate rogue evil empire

Let other countries big or small be aware if the rogue evil empire dares to commit travesty with a powerful China now, what chances have they if one day US turns against them and exercise extraterritoriality against them base on flimsy fabricated reasons as in the case of Huawei-Meng Wanzhou as well as bullies under illateral US sanctions on many other countries like, Iran, Cuba, Venezuella, Turkey, Cambodia and many more others.

It is time for all other countries on earth to wake up to the evil intent of the rogue US which intends to bring the whole world of all countries under its abominable dominance and total hegemony. People of the world and of all countries must unite to defend and uphold their independence and sovereignty and destroy the Evil Empire before it can destroy the beautiful world on earth.

Why sugar tax? What's next, salt tax?

Does sugar cause diabetes?

There are two main types of diabetes – Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
In Type 1 diabetes, the insulin producing cells in your pancreas are destroyed by your immune system. No amount of sugar in your diet – or anything in your lifestyle – has caused or can cause you to get Type 1 diabetes.
With Type 2 diabetes, though we know sugar doesn’t directly cause Type 2 diabetes, you are more likely to get it if you are overweight. You gain weight when you take in more calories than your body needs, and sugary foods and drinks contain a lot of calories.
And it's important to add that fatty foods and drinks are playing a part in our nation's expanding waistline.
So you can see if too much sugar is making you put on weight, then you are increasing your risk of getting Type 2 diabetes. But Type 2 diabetes is complex, and sugar is unlikely to be the only reason the condition develops.   Diabetes UK.

The above statements by Diabetes UK said it clearly. For Type 1 diabetes, sugar is not a cause of diabetes. Period. In the case of Type 2, sugar is only one of the indirect cause of diabetes. Fatty food, carbohydrates all add to the sugar level in the blood. Fat people are more likely or have a higher chance of getting diabetes. So don't blame sugar as the main culprit. Incidentally Type 1 is the more serious of the two types of diabetes as in this case the pancreas is not producing enough insulin.

The idea of a sugar tax was politely shot down by an Australian professor from Monash, saying that it was ineffective and at best with a small impact. There are many other factors that would lead to diabetes eg lack of exercise, genetics and stress. So if sugar should be taxed because it is one of the indirect causes of diabetes, what's next? Tax on carbohydrates, tax on people not exercising, tax on fatty food?

Why is sugar been identified as a factor to be taxed, and why is tax a solution? Funny reasons and funny solution? Is it all about money, about squeezing more money from the people? Is this another desperate move to raise tax because the govt needs money? And the govt needs your view on whether to tax you or not to tax you and the people are to commit themselves to being taxed?

What about people that need to take sugar, especially children that have an active life and need more sugar while they are growing and playing? Normal and healthy children would easily take care of their sugar intake without fearing diabetes. Personally I need a bit more sugar than usual to keep me buzzing. A lack of sugar will make me drowsy and slow. Sugar is important for people leading an active lifestyle. Sugar is energy. Why should people be penalised and taxed just for living actively? I also have to add salt to my drinks after active physical training. I get cramps when my salt level is low. Would salt be the next thing to be slated for higher taxes? High water tax not enough, sugar, salt also want to tax when these are the basic life necessities, basic building blocks for a healthy lifestyle?

No one is encouraging people to take excessive sugar. A simple solution would be to regulate the sugar content in drinks. Even this does not ensure people consume less sugar as one can drink more packs or bottles instead. But the effect will be there to the casual drinkers. A sugar tax does not directly lead to lower consumption of sugar nor lowering of diabetic cases but lead to more money to the govt coffer.

How many silly buggers would want to tell the govt, please tax me more for consuming more sugar to stop them from taking more sugar? 

Once tax is levied on sugar, many many food items would end up being taxed as sugar is a component of the food and leading to higher cost of living.

Canadian govt - A bunch of innocent boys and girls in govt

Reading the western media, especially from their political commentators and even govt officials, one cannot get away from the notion that the Canadians are so angelic, so innocent, just like little boys and girls, in the arrest and harsh treatment of an innocent Chinese lady while transiting Vancouver airport. She was arrested not because she committed a crime. The Canadians knew that she was innocent. But they have to arrest her and subjected her to treatments befitting a hard core criminal, under the pretext of rule of law. The Canadians lived by the rule of law. And they are having a great time enjoying the arrest of Meng.

So, under what rule of law did they arrest Meng Wanzhou? Oh, they have an extradition treaty with the Americans. So when the Americans told them to arrest Meng Wanzhou, a Chinese national who did not commit any crimes, they did so, because that was the rule of law, arresting an innocent citizen of another country also can. There is no other condition attached to such extradition treaty? Of course there are. The person being arrested must have committed a crime, and the request must not be politically motivated or for any other reasons than committing a crime.

Did the boys and girls in the Canada govt know that the arrest of Meng Wanzhou was politically motivated, a kidnapping of another country's citizen to be used as a bargaining chip, to shut Huawei out of the western market? No they did not know. Really, the children did not know. And that is true. How could a little girl made Foreign Minister, and a little boy PM know the difference between a crime and rule of law and a political and commercial plot schemed by the thugs in Washington? They could not have known. They only know how to play with their toys, and if the thugs in Washington told them to arrest an innocent citizen from another country, little innocent and ignorant boys and girls have to believe the Americans were doing it because of a crime committed, and because of the rule of law.

So everyday they uttered about the rule of law and nothing else, like all innocent boys and girls trained to do, it is the rule of law, it is the rule of law, Canada is a rule of law country. China has no rule of law, so China arrested the two intelligence operators is lawless, did not obey any rule of law. The two Canadians arrested in China are also innocent boys that did nothing wrong and China is behaving like thugs to arrest them without observing the rule of law. They could not see anything wrong with what the two Canadians were doing in China, sooooo innocent.

What if there were evidence that the Americans were lying to them, that the arrest of Meng was a politically motivated ploy, that she was a bargaining chip in the China trade war and trade negotiation? No, cannot be, the arrest was a rule of law thing. What about the American President saying that he would intervene to set her free if this could end up making a trade deal with China in the interest of the Americans? Is this not clear enough that there is nothing about a crime or about the rule of law? Now that Trump had said it in front of the media and shown to the whole world, what did the little girl do? She pleaded with Trump not to politicise it. She used the word 'politicise' because she knew. But if Trump would to listen to her and keep quiet henceforth, she and other little boys and girls could continue with their lie that it is not politics but the rule of law. And these children can live happily with that like nothing happened at all.

What the American President said was just what he said, nothing to affect 'the rule of law' arrest of Meng. The little boys and girls in Canada only want to believe that they were playing a game of rule of law and anything else they would not hear, could not understand. This is what you will get when a govt is run by a bunch of innocent and ignorant little brats. They believed that they were doing all the right things and China was doing all the wrong things.

They are so innocent, so cute and so naive, they could not have done anything wrong about wrongful arrest of an innocent citizen of another country or ill treating her and violating her human rights. When would these vicious little brats wake up from the world of childish make beliefs? It is the American's fault, not the Canadians. They just arrest Meng because the Americans asked them, nothing to do with them. Oh, so cute!

            It is important to take note of what others always say of USA. America always takes advantage of others by guiles and deception. Lying is an American culture. US can tell lies straight to your face without blinking an eye. They masquerade lies as truth and as part of its insidious propaganda they can repeat all lies repeatedly millions of times so that people unconsciously begin to take it as truth. Trump like all past American presidents and politicians are consummate dishonourable liars. So is John Bolton, Peter Narvarro, lighthiger, Pompeo, Schiff, Schumer and many more others who are also China haters. Also the world is constantly reminded by native Americans that "White men speak with fork tongues and can never be trusted."

John Bolton , just by his look you know he cannot be trusted. He has an inhuman look like that of a cross breed between the hyenas and the leopards. Indeed he looks damn bloody horrible and repulsive like that of a poisonous snake, a cobra which needs to be killed and destroyed for the safety and security of all non-white countries. He is an inherent warhawk and like those warhawks, rogues and savages in the American administration, in CIA and the Pentagon he is aversed to peace on earth other than in USA itself. He and his likes of savage white Americans and its western allies or poodles advocate permanent wars. With permanent wars they aim to make humongous profits by the hundreds or thousands of billions of dollars in sales of weapons to all warring parties in wars fomented, incited and instigated by the Americans.

The sinful money from wars and the pains, sufferings and disasters of of others will forever keep the Pentagon's Military Industrial Complex humming non-stop with activities. The Pentagon's Military Industrial Complex war industries contribute 70% or more of USA's annual GDP. So wars are important and a way of life to the Americans for it is an important factor to their economic survival.

China spends all its energy and money on trade, commerce and civilian industries for the well being and better livelihood of mankind in a win-win situation for every country in this world. China is opposed to American policy of beggar your neighbour. China is sincere in wanting to share its wealth and prosperity with all countries especially third world countries in Asia, Africa, Central and South America. Therefore to this end it has for decades been helping third world countries in building schools, hospitals, infrastructures like roads, railways and ports as well as industries to uplift them from poverty. But America has since after the Second World War been selfishly interested in exploiting poor countries rich resources to enrich itself especially its bankers, business tycoons and commercial conglomerates or in short the 0ne percent of its elites . So in view of this and all the harms USA is doing to this world the third world poor countries it is of the utmost significance that every government in third world countries must constantly alert their people to the danger of the untrustworthy white Americans whom the native Americans have been warning us for hundreds of years that white men speak with fork tongues and can never be trusted.

Third world countries must beware when USA economic hitman or officials appear at your doorstep with promises to help treat them like poison or leper and keep them away at a safe distance. More often than not their promise of help turn out to be obtrusive as when they through agency of help in their total control IMF and World Bank tend to exploit and impoverish the victimise countries while at the same time enrich America tremendously.

Remember when things are good for your country you never hope to see the Americans or white men. But when the white Americans do appear at your doorstep you can be sure they have evil intentions.

Waiting for ‘angmoh cun’ or white man’s ship

The wheel of fortune is turning and would continue to turn and fortune changes. In the 60s, the tourists coming here are the Americans and some Europeans. They were the rich and free spending tourists. The local shop keepers loved them. Every time an ‘angmoh cun’ is in town it will be boomtown Charlie. Business flourished, the service industries, food, hotels, shopping centres boomed. This state of affair went on till the end of the Vietnam War when the American GIs stopped coming. The waiting for ‘angmoh cun’ became a waiting game with no more Americans coming ashore.
 
The next group of free spending tourists was the Japanese. They came in the 70s and 80s. And they were the darlings of the tourist industry and the retail and service trade. All those involved in the tourist industry were eagerly waiting for the Japanese to arrive and to throw their money around. This came to an end too when Japan went into a recession, or its economy went to a stand still, with little growth. The free spending Japanese don’t come anymore. They had their moment of attention like the Americans.
 
Today the tourists that everyone is waiting for is Chinese tourists. They are the big spenders, much bigger spenders than the American and Japanese tourists and in bigger number. They did not just come to Singapore, to travel all over the world. And Singaporean shop keepers are not the only one waiting for them, the whole of Europe and America, Japan, Korea and SE Asian countries are waiting for the Communist Chinese to come. Some laid down red carpets to welcome them. Some European countries went to the extent of hiring Chinese policemen to protect them from local thugs.
 
The whole has indeed changed. The poor communists from China are now the rich communists that are throwing money all over the world. When they stopped coming, the local tourist industry wind down, the shop owners started crying. Where are the rich communists? We love them, we want them and we welcome them.
 
For centuries, the Chinese, especially the overseas Chinese, are ashamed to be called Chinese or identify themselves with anything Chinese. Even the Chinese also have very little pride and confidence in themselves. Today, the Chinese in China are very proud of being Chinese. The Chinese in Taiwan, once despised the mainland Chinese and wanted to call themselves Taiwanese, or even Japanese, are starting to think Chinese and feeling more comfortable calling themselves Chinese.
 
Chinese or being Chinese is no longer a dirty word. Chinese is now about being the richest nation, the most powerful nation in time to come, being rich and technologically superior, as good if not better than the West. The West is afraid. Never have they been challenged by another nation or civilization that can compete with them head to head in science and technology. The Chinese are telling the West your days of glory and supremacy are numbered.
 
China and the Chinese will upstage the Americans and the West in everything. Made in China 2025 is about China over taking the West not just in being the number one economy or number super power, but in science and technology. The Americans are trying to put a stop to this by starting this trade war, to prevent or slow down China’s rise as the most industrial and scientifically advanced nation on earth.
 
The wheel of fortune is turning and China is unstoppable. Singapore would be hung high and dry if the Chinese ships refuse to call at Tuas. Tuas would be a ghost harbour, a white elephant. Yes white elephant, if Singapore continues on its careless way to be on the wrong side of the Chinese equation.
 
Who cares about ‘angmoh cun’ any more? Everyone all over the world is waiting for the rich communists to throw money at them, in Europe and in the Americas as well.
