 TB used to be a dreaded disease in the 50s and 60s of Singapore. The whole neighbourhood would be in an uproar when a case was found. Then it was eradicated by rising standard of medicare, hygiene and control. TB was a thing of the past. Now Singaporeans can have a taste of what TB is all about. The careful and sensitive Singaporeans may be perturbed by this disease and start to worry about people coughing around them, especially in the same confined of aircon offices or in classrooms, maybe childcare centres, or in trains or in taxis or Grabs.

The experts and authority have come out to assure the public that there is nothing much to worry about. TB is not like Covid, cannot be easily transmitted. Using same utensils or toilet bowls did not pose high risk of infection. It is transmitted through the air, vapour droplets when the infected coughed or sneezed. Wearing of masks if not comfortable, I think, should be good enough. I think only ah. I am no expert.

Singaporeans are so lucky. Singapore is in good hands and have been kept safe from TB for several decades by the old guards. The old guards got rid of TB and Singaporeans have lived the past decades completely oblivious of TB. Tb is making a comeback, but not to worry. The new guards have them under control. What is 13 cases? And TB is not that infectious. Also reported Malaysia has a few hundred cases.

Singapore is very safe and very hygienic and in good hands. Everything is under control. Trust me. Oh, need to be more careful in choice of my holiday destinations, and the confines of aircraft. Better be careful where you travel to, or you will have to answer 'Yes' in your immigration entry card. Dunno what will happen after that.

Trump does not need enemies with friends like Epstein and Netanyahu. The Americans do not need enemies with friends like the Jews. The Arabs and Muslims too do not need enemies with Israel or USA as their friends. See how happy and peaceful are the immediate neighbours of Israel! Oops, for the Palestinians, Hezbollah, Lebanese, Syrians, Iraqis, things are obviously different when they are not friends of Israel. Iran and the rest of the Arab and Muslim states are distant neighbours.

The Europeans are feeling very uncomfortable. Some nobles and royalties are regretting having Israeli friends like Epstein and Maxwell. But they have had their fun and should not complain. European states are different, will not get close to Israel, now carrying a ten foot pole. Only the Germans are still with Israel, trying to mitigate their WW2 crimes against the Jews. 

No decent or sensible country will want to openly call Israel as friend. The crimes against humanity and genocides are too horrific to stomach and to will away. Only the brain dead and equally evil allies and cronies of these two terrorist states would not mind the genocides and the wars. The Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims paid a very heavy price for trusting the Jews and the Americans but not learning anything and are still trusting the Jews and Americans, conducting talks for cease fire, not for eternal peace. Every time the Jews need a breather, need to restock their ammunition, they will for a cease fire talk with the ever gullible Arabs and Muslims. And the Jews were never disappointed by the ever trusting Arabs and Muslims, who still believe they can be friends with the Jews and can live happily ever after, after every cease fire talk. As most of the old obsolete myths fall, a new era will rise. The world will look at the USA in a different light.

The world had already been looking for alternatives to the US$ hegemony after seeing the evil designs that had arisen through the weaponization of the US$. That weaponization move, I think, kills all the appetite of continuing to worship the US$ hegemony. But for decades, the world could do nothing about it, as everything is still stuck in the deep-seated reliance on the US$ for the purchase of oil.

No one could come up with a viable alternative - not even Saddam Hussein who tried and wanted to do oil in Euros and had to be destroyed for floating a provocative idea in the minds of the USA. No country was strong enough to undertake another attempt to confront the US$ hegemony, and Saddam Hussein was to be the 'chicken killed to teach the monkeys'. Not until BRICS came quietly into the picture. Touted just an irritant and brushed aside.

BRICS was created to provide a viable alternative to the US$ hegemonic system. It was never meant to be an overnight mission to create a system that can rival the long-standing US$ hegemony, but one that does enough just by chipping away at the US$ foundation. Several global currencies were designated global reserve currencies before the US$, so do not assume that any change of status cannot come forth going forward.

The importance of oil catapulted the US$ to its prime, but that presumption could always change with renewables becoming mainstream and overtaking oil. Does that answer the question why Trump had always been against renewables undermining oil? Trump does not subscribe to climate change. His only preoccupation is 'drill baby drill'.

Trump can have all the oil for himself in time to come, just like having all the unprocessed rare earth dirt that he boasted about. Does the possession of so much rare earth dirt make any difference without to logistics to turn them into useful elements?

The new USA Fed chief wants to cancel USA's US39 trillion debts. I had to hit my forehead to make sure I am awake and not having a nightmare. Oh, not a nightmare for me actually, as I am not an investor in toilet papers.

How can a debt be cancelled just like that? Tell all the creditors that the USA is not going to repay all its debts and going to cancel it? That is defaulting, declaring bankrupt and committing daylight banditry. Now, I believe all creditors of USA, including foreign holders, will just say thank you. And they will continue to buy US$ treasuries and investments after the reset.

Wait a minute, about 70% of that US$39 trillion debts are held by the Fed, USA big banks, hedge funds, pension funds and ordinary USA citizens. Now, that makes it really interesting, and I am sure it is all for the good of the country. I am sure USA pensioners and citizens are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice. Having said that, it means the US$ hegemony is gone the way of the dodo bird. And anything trotted out by the USA in future is no longer triple A stuff anymore, maybe just triple junk status, so who is going to buy them. And unlimited money printing is out of the question, as that printed money is as worthless as real toilet papers. At least toilet papers have its use, and an important use.

I am not an economist or expert, but if someone owes you money, you are damn sure going to make every effort to get your money back, not to talk about lending more money to that someone. Let us see if the USA financial wizards, or conmen, really have a way to wriggle its way out of the conundrum.

 It is unbelieveable that Trump who is expected to make America great again, is helping to crash the dollar and the American financial system, including the collapse of Wall Street. How can this be? Think of it this way, the American economy, Wall Street and the strong dollar, depend on peace and a high growth world economy. The more growth, more trade, more gambling and punting in the Stock Market, the better for the dollar, increasing demands for the dollar.

This evil Operation to Kill Iranians is doing exactly the opposite, bringing the world economy grinding to a standstill. The world economies depend on the supply of oil, everything depends on oil flowing. The war is stopping the flow of oil to the countries that needed it. For a while, Iran still allowed oil to flow, not a complete shut down. Countries still find their ways to get their hands on the oil. But clown Trump said nothing of that, and imposed a blockade of the Hormuz to make the flow of oil to a complete stop.

This started a vicious cycle of paralysing the world economies. Countries like Japan and South Korea, India and also the European countries have the money to buy oil, but there is no oil for sale. The dollars circulating in the SWIFT winding down. This follows with the factories of these countries slowing production or suspending production, cutting down on purchases of raw material and no finished products for sale. The demand for dollars keeps withering away, slowing to a standstill. No revenue, no profit, no money for investment or gambling in Wall Street, no money to buy American bonds and debt. Japan is dumping billions of dollars in American bonds to prop up their ailing economy and the falling Yen.

The oil producing Arab and Muslim countries are also suffering. They cannot sell their oil. Their economies cannot function with all the bombings around them. No travelers, no tourists, life activities scaling down. No more dollars floating around, no more dollars to give to Trump and his Piss Board. Oil is about the most important item in world trade in American dollars. Without the dollar exchanging hands, it is as good as dedollarisation on a global scale among American allies and crony states. The more Trump tighten the noose around the Strait Hormuz, the more it will hurt all the American allies and cronies and the demand for the dollar, and of course the money to buy American bonds and debt and gambling in Wall Street. Not only no dollars flowing back into America, the Gulf states will be liquidating their American assets, selling stocks and bonds for much needed liquidity in their chaotic economies. Thanks to the Washington clowns.

The economy of every Arab and Muslim state in the Gulf region is in a limbo. So is the economy of Israel where every social and economic activity has been halted or disrupted. How long can Israel continue to stay in this mess? How long can the patience of the Israeli population holds before it explodes into the street? The peace and stability and comfort of life in Israel is now a living nightmare 24/7. The buoyant and joyful voices of Israeli young and children are now the same as the sound of Palestinian children in Gaza...muted and grim with fear. The Israelis may not want to admit it, but many that can have fled Israel for safety.

Well done Trump and the Washington clowns. The BRICS countries did not have to lift a finger when Trump and his Washington clowns are working so hard to cripple the demand for dollars. I am sure that Iran knows where those aircraft carriers are located, with Russian and Chinese intelligence giving a hand. When things start to get hot, those three aircraft carriers will be the prime targets to take out immediately. It does not take a military genius to know what the Iranian priorities should be. After all, the Iranians are no country bumpkins, having already shown their prowess since the war began. Iranian strategy of asymmetrical warfare against brute force has delivered the goods by taking out important military targets first and foremost. The USA support bases in the Middle East are gone and non-operational and countries around are wary of supporting the USA in its attack. Diego Garcia is the only alternative, and the Iranians have already shown that they have the means to level it like those bases in the Gulf countries.

Trump is going to face Vietnam version 2, as many have already warned if he puts boot on the ground. But heroic Trump, the stable military genius, said that he is not worried about that, so let us see what happens. Even if Iran suffers an initial setback under intense USA carpet bombing, that is if the aircraft carriers dared to move closer to shore, the war is still not lost for the Iranians. Carpet bombing creates an illusionary initial advantage, but the real war comes after that as in Vietnam. While Vietnam's guerilla warfare was fought in jungles, Iran's version is over mountainous terrains. 70,000 USA troops against a million Iranian militia over a country as big as Iran is sending sheep to the slaughterhouse. The USA does not celebrate Hari Raya anyway, but the Iranians do and should welcome the delivery of sheep for the celebration.

Trump tried to play a psychological game by calling off his negotiators after the Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi landed in Pakistan briefly before flying to meet Putin in Moscow. I think this is not a visit for tea with Putin. It is also a psychological move to keep Trump guessing. Both sides can play for same game.

The biggest joke I woke up this morning must be watching Satan Netanyahu gloating about 'no place for violence' when commenting on the shooting at the White House press dinner. Lebanon is the next Gaza

 In a way, Lebanon is very similar to Gaza in geography, except slightly bigger. To cut up Lebanon and be destroyed like Gaza is a piece of cake. The formula was put into practice in Gaza and very successful, with the whole world turning away, not wanting to know about it. Gaza is finished. The remaining work to be done is to get rid of the surviving Palestinians by all means. They will not be allowed to return to Gaza and no one cares a hoot about what is happening to them. Such horrible destruction of two million Palestinians did not attract the attention of any decent leaders other than passing remarks. The whole world has accepted the fate of the Palestinians. The American and Israeli terrorists have moved on with Lebanon to be bombed and flattened like Gaza. And the story will be repeated with no resistance to save Lebanon and the Lebanese. The American and Israeli terrorists are on a rampage to take over the whole of the Middle East. And the Arabs and Muslims are not bothered by it. The World's biggest terrorist is also trying to resurrect terrorism into a global phenomenon with its unprovoked attacks on countries it does not see eye to eye. What has Iran done to provoke the USA to carry out such heinous atrocity? My guess is it has nothing to do with nukes and everything to do with oil, as in Venezuela. Controlling global oil will stifle China's growth, which is the ultimate objective. But it is too little and too late, as China has already built in and insulated itself into a fail-safe economy beyond what appears on the surface. Sure, there will be minor interruptions, but oil is just a small part of the vulnerability of China's energy structure. China still has mountains of coal and will cope even if the shit hits the fan in a worst-case scenario. China will not collapse and will grow stronger in resilience with the experience. Mark my words.

Now, are we going to see a genocide of 90 million people in Iran being committed to rival the genocide of the Native American Indians? More hard earned SIA money into a bottomless dark pit

Tata Group is Air India’s biggest shareholder with 74.9 per cent, while SIA holds the remaining 25.1 per cent stake, after the Indian flag carrier merged with the SIA co-owned Vistara in 2024.

As part of the deal, the Singapore carrier initially pumped in some S$360 million in cash into Air India, in addition to offering up its Vistara equity. It also committed up to another S$880 million, likely needed for fleet and capacity upgrades in the following years.

Let's pray hard that SIA or Singapore corporations will not be robbed and stripped off their pants by India. The SIA shareholders must take a strong stand and not be deluded by long, long term prospect. They will not be around to see it. How many silly companies are stuck in serious losses and unable to cut loss, or pretending that no such thing is happening to them?

Also, the ceasefire is only meant for the Iranians not to fire at American warships attacking Iranian and foreign ships transiting the Hormuz. A ceasefire is just a delay tactic, a lie. The alternative system will cripple the American dollar and military hegemony

Most smaller countries have no choice under USA's veiled threat. When the USA says, you are either with us or against us, what choice do small countries have?

But the obvious choice is getting murkier over time and getting away from the threat looks clearer with BRICS providing the alternative. Under Russia and China's protective umbrella in BRICS, both militarily and economically, unfolding events are undoubtedly changing the game. Russia is militarily about on par with the USA in terms of nuke capability. China underwrites the economic facade of BRICS, with the Chinese Yuan playing its part and providing the stability. BRICS is not formed for harvesting immediate results. It is for a longer-term objective of weaning countries away from using the US$. Rome was not built in a day, but the Roman Empire rose and flourish over time.

Decades ago, most countries faced the cardinal truth that the USA was their most important market for their exports. They provided the blood and sweat to produce the real goods in exchange for toilet paper printed out of thin air.

The strong USA military is the result of the US$ hegemony which must continue to function to provide the USA the ability to maintain such a widespread force globally. The US$ hegemony's continued existence is needed to maintain the USA military, while the USA military exists to protect the US$ hegemony. If the US$ hegemony fails, everything goes down like a house of cards, just like the British without the privilege of unlimited money printing powers then. Any weakening of the US$ hegemony, not necessarily its collapse, will render the USA military being heavily compromised.

Several old myths have been torn to pieces over the Iran War. A few are worth repeating.

First myth is that expensive weapons will always win no matter what happens has now been torn to pieces by Iran, a precedent that China will undoubtedly take good note. Iran has proven that cheap drones and missiles can also do a good job against top end weaponry. One interceptor cost five times or more to take down one cheap Iranian drone. And it is honestly highly optimistic to suggest that only one interceptor will be fired to take down one incoming drone. For the same price, Iran can fire five or more drones, which will in turn specify that the USA needs to fire five interceptors to take them down. Calculate the math.

Second myth is that aircraft carriers will always be used to project power has been proven and obsolete idea by Iran using cheap hypersonic missiles and drones, so much so that aircraft carriers have now turned into sitting ducks, having to stay far offshore carrying fighter jets that are now unable to take advantage of close to shore take off and return. In other words, the projection of power advantage delegated to aircraft carriers is no longer achievable and could be lost for good. More so, when the reach of hypersonic drones and missiles keep increasing. The USA was reported to have predicted that Iranian hypersonic missiles were not capable of going for targets more than two thousand kilometers away. The shock came when Iran showed its threat by firing two missiles at Diego Garcia, four thousand kilometers away. So much for the much-touted USA intelligence.

The third myth being broken to pieces is that blockading the Straits of Hormuz is going to strangle China over Persian Gulf oil. Iranian oil can still enter China by rail, still paid in Yuan, while Russia has assured China of taking up the slack. Meanwhile China is going all out by leveraging on renewable energy and building Thorium nuclear plants to provide unlimited nuclear energy on top of hydropower, wind and solar energy. Oil imports will slowly not figure most prominently in China's manufacturing sector in time to come. So, what will become of those choke points that can no longer be instrumental in choking China? Who else is the USA going to choke.

Many countries are also migrating to renewable energy in the face of the Middle East turmoil. For example, Pakistan has already been following the Chinese by harvesting hydropower with huge dams and solar farms. More countries will realize that depending on oil alone is disastrous as global oil reserves are limited and turning to renewables is the answer for the future.

Now, here again one country is going to laugh all the way to the bank. Chinese wind turbines, solar panels, EVs and even Thorium nuclear power plants for export are planned, all of which China is already dominating globally and will be sought after in years to come. Which other country has the capacity to supply all the equipment demanded at scale?

All the showboating about the USA having so much oil is perhaps just a short-term feel-good moment, when the rest of the world start migrating to renewables, while Trump keeps demonizing wind turbines for killing birds and Chinese solar panels spying on citizens and all the hubris. Oh, maybe Trump will threaten them with high tariffs if they turn to clean energy, lol.

USA still needs to import 30 to 35% of its oil needs. The USA cannot use all the oil that it produces as its own refineries are not built to process those lighter crude. The lighter crude may be sold to refineries outside USA that are able to process them elsewhere. So, what affects most countries around the world, also does affect the USA as well if the Strait of Hormuz remain closed. The fact that USA pump prices are now reaching for unscalable heights shows the reality of what I am saying. So much oil and yet cannot keep pump prices down does prove a thing or two.

Operation Kill Iranians - 3 aircraft carrier strike groups and more than 70,000 troops

Do take lunatic Trump seriously when he said he is going to wipe out the Iranians. This is not a joke. Lunatic Trump meant what he said. He will continue to sack the American generals and admirals if they refused to do his bidding, to kill Iranians and risking the lives of American boys and girls. Surely after all the sackings there will be one or two wimps with stars on their shoulders to say aye to Trump. Then the massacre will begin, the Iranians will die, a lot of them. The American boys and girls will also die, a lot of them. Why? For what, for who?

For the moment, lunatic Trump has been checked. He asked for the nuclear codes. If a nuclear threat is just for negotiation, there is no need to ask for the codes. The codes will give him access and the ability to press the nuclear button. To this lunatic, what is nuking Iran and killing a few Iranians? Gen Dan Caine, Chairman of Joint Chief of General Staff blocked Trump from access to the nuclear codes. How long will he stay on the job and his replacement would definitely be picked by Trump and do his bidding. This is a very dangerous situation facing Iran and the world. If this mad man can nuke Iran, he can nuke anyone. Period.

Operation Kill Iranians is temporarily on hold and will continue once the Trump has his forces in place. The extension of the ceasefire is not for anything good, but giving the American terrorists more time to deploy all the weapons and attack forces. Many aircraft, including the out of action F18s have not been flown to UAE to within striking distance of Iran. The F18s have been out of action as the aircraft carriers had been forced to flee to a safe distance from Iran. Now they can only fly from land bases near Iran. And the ceasefire is exactly for this purpose.

Iran must deploy and target the UAE bases with hypersonic missiles and fingers on the button the moment ceasefire expires. Better to be on the button now as the treacherous and cheating Americans will likely to strike before the ceasefire ends, the moment they are ready to hit Iran. They had done this twice during a ceasefire negotiation.

The next phase of attack against Iran is going to be harder. Hopefully Iran also make use of this ceasefire to restock with more hypersonic missiles to wipe out everything the American terrorists have laid before them. 70,000 American boys and girls will present enough targets for the Iranians, and the aircraft in nearby airbases. Would the American terrorists dare to sail their warships near to the Persian Gulf for target practice by the Iranians?

When the lunatic Trump only cares about winning, he will sacrifice all the boys and girls he can get. Body bag manufacturers should ramp up their production of these plastic bags.

America is now the joke of the world

While Trump, his regime and the USA people want to treat China as a joke, the whole world is beginning to see USA as a bigger joke. The war on Iran has exposed the biggest joke about USA military power. Not that it had not been already exposed in Vietnam and Afghanistan. The irony is that the world does not see the woods from the trees regarding the fate of a falling superpower.

China giving visa free travel to foreign visitors is a masterstroke to let foreign visitors see and experience the real China and undo the brainwashing that they had been subjected to for decades. No amount of propaganda can win against experiencing the reality. Just the high-speed rail experience in China is enough to floor visitors, with high-speed rail stations overshadowing airports in their own country. Do they think those are a joke?

And the low cost of living is another shocking experience that foreign travelers have noticed while in China. The food available at supermarkets are cheap, eating out is cheap, transportation is cheap and above all homes, rental flats and hotels are cheap as well. Medical treatment in China is also cheaper and more efficient. For comparison of cost, each Chinese ambulance costs about US$60,000 each fully equipped and delivered in weeks. An ambulance made in USA cost about US$500,000 and takes three years to deliver. That is the extent of the greed inside a democracy that works for the top 1% to make more money at the expense of the bottom feeders. Do USA voters realized that they have landed on the wrong side of the bargain, paying for essential things that should be heavily subsidized. What has USA voters benefitted from having a right to vote but ended up being more heavily squeezed each time.

China's real economic growth versus American's money printing growth and Ponzi scheme in Wall Street

25 years of the collapse of China has not come to fruition. This must be the mother of all failed propaganda ever trotted out by the West. I guess, this mantra will be repeated for another 25 years to come. I do not think Gordon Chang will still be around to witness the collapse of China, or the rise of China to be the biggest economy of the world.

Never mind that China's GDP growth is now around 4.5% or whatever, but it is still double what the USA has achieved over the years. Real growth supported by real manufacturing and real exports resulting in ever growing surpluses does not lie. On the other hand, growth through money printing is hiding a very unpalatable truth pertaining to more money being used for round-tripping investments in order to give the impression of growth. A Ponzi scheme never ends well.

Countries are wising up realizing that the Ponzi scheme is going to unravel sooner or later. Treasury interest rates are pushed higher and higher, yet few takers are being enticed. The fall of the US$ does not compensate even with the increase in interest rates and the inherent risk of holding such investments. Coupled with the risk of seizures like the Russian assets, lessons are being learnt. Investments in gold and silver rather than treasuries are now more beneficial without the inherent risk. It is better to be safe than be sorry like the Russians and Iranians.
